Could you please help me figure out the name of this series?

Heroine has an abusive marriage with a cop. She kills the cop when she thinks he’ll kill her. She starts running away from the law and turns to her high school sweetheart (they have sex once in a shed on his mansion and they never speak after).

The hero has always been in love with heroine. He lets her go because she deserves better than him. After she calls him, he realises that she had been abused, rescues her and protects her. read more

I’m tring to remember a book I read a long time ago.

It’s an mc romance.

Heroine’s mother dies. Im pretty sure heroine is married to an abusive husband to protect her mother. The mothers nurse helps her escape and sends her to a mc.

I think her dad’s a member she’s never meet him but but she falls for the president.

Lizzette is also looking for some very specific recommendations. I have a few categories that will certainly feed her trope interest, but if you have recommendations, too, we are all ears!!

PERSONAL MARYSE NOTE: I struggle with scenes of abuse BIG TIME (though I LOVE books about women on the run or starting over AFTER abuse, so in those instances, I can handle it). I don’t mind reading about obnoxiously bossy or possessive/jealous heroes, as long as they are ALSO protective and loving. Mental or physical (of any sort) abuse just kills it for me. I tend to DNF a lot of those depending on how “in your face” and upfront it is. read more

I want to apologize beforehand that I remember so little.

Its a book about h whose relative died and left her a cabin in a small town. When h moves to the cabin, H is there. h’s relative left half of the cabin to H.

I think h is in some kind of danger that H stubbornly stays at the cabin also to protect h.

I think h and H grew up together and the dead relative leaves them both the cabin to get them together. read more
