The Brightest Stars
<— Okay so, it’s not live YET (it’s going live at midnight) but Anna Todd is partnering with me for a giveaway and I’m starting it early!! OMG I am IN LOVE with that bracelet (I actually have an “Alex and Ani” bracelet that I NEVER take off given to me by one of my very best friends). 😀 And the one in the giveaway (see it below) is the PERFECT one to go with this book.
AND!!!! Speaking of this book, it sounds utterly AMAZING!!! I love the angst and introspection that comes with the plight of a military hero (and the heroine that loves him), and this one gave me a blurb jolt, BIG TIME!

Book Review – Bring Down the Stars by Emma Scott
Bring Down the Stars (Beautiful Hearts Duet Book 1)
LOVE TRIANGLE DELICIOUSNESS ALERT!! If you’re looking to pine HARD over someone, and to feel like you’re falling in love, and to be all sorts of confused because also… there’s that other guy that you can’t stop looking at (but that barely acknowledges you, but then again.. sort of does), but then again…. he’s your new boyfriend’s best friend *ahem* (sorry for the run-on) but …. you’ve found your match!!!! Er… in this book, I mean. 😉
Book Review – Cuffed by K. Bromberg
Cuffed (Everyday Heroes Series Book 1)
The best of both “contemporary romance-book” worlds in this one! Childhood best friends, and it’s a second chance romance to boot! Also, the cop-in-uniform hero didn’t hurt one bit.
That cover? *waggles eyebrows* I know right? He was pretty easy to imagine.
BUT for those that aren’t as taken by an overtly sexy book cover, don’t let it scare you. While this book was steamy and at times, hilarious (ohhhhhh that police escort to the drug store had me laughing out loud), 😛
K. Bromberg – Everyday Heroes Series Reading Order
K. BROMBERG’S “MEN IN UNIFORM” SERIES ALERT!!! How can I possibly resist? 😉 And! Kooloo tells us this book was based on the author’s own real-life events!!
Leslie M: Hot cop alert!!!! …Its called Cuffed. THAT COVER!!!!
Kooloo: So I just finished a 5 Star read entitled CUFFED by K Bromberg and struggled with my rating until I found out it is based on real life events that involved the author – there are of course triggers which made even more relent knowing it actually happened. But it also made me lol and swoon… loved it xoxo
Reader Question – Anna’s looking for "Cop Romance" recommendations…
Anna wants “Cop Romance” reader recommendations, but she’s looking for a certain trope. 😉
Hey,
I wanted to ask if you knew about any romance novel involving a cop who falls in live with a criminal/ someone shady.
Thanks.
Yep… that could get sticky.
Anyone have a recommendation? Let’s make a list!! 😀
Stephanie: Law Man (The Dream Man Series Book 3) by Kristen Ashley is a definite. I really enjoy the Fatal Series by Marie Force. Those are what first came to mind.
Jan: Sebring (The Unfinished Heroes Series Book 5) is another by Kristen Ashley that partly fits your request. Nick isn’t exactly a cop (LOL) but he does fall in love with someone from a shady/criminal family/background. I read it a couple of years ago but remember liking it and thinking it was one of KA’s better books at the time. I do remember that the problems caused by the h’s shady background played a big role in the book.
