Krista needs our “Guess the Book” help!! It’s and office romance. YAY!!! 😀

While she hasn’t read it yet, she tells us how it starts and she wants to continue it. Does anyone here know it?

I LOVE office romance books, and Brandi needs us!! Sounds like a nice long-term office romance crush that we get to indulge in, and HE finally notices her… but the question is, he… who? What book is this?

Help!

I have been thinking about a book I read forever ago.  One scene that is stuck in my head! I seem to remember the h and her BFF working in an office setting together.  h is not the outgoing type and has had a secret crush on a certain man in the office for FOREVER.

During a business meeting,  h finally catches H’s eye.  Maybe H has dark hair and blue eyes,  goatee maybe? I have read so many books it is hard to keep track!  I thought it was “Neanderthal Seeks Human”  but I just finished a re-read and it wasn’t it! read more

Book Review – Fugly by Mimi Jean Pamfiloff

Well this one, I must admit… I chose, by totally judging a book by it’s cover. Oh. And the awesome title. And the blurb. 😛 And, overall… it was pretty good, too! A light read, with a bit of angst, and steam, and OH NO HE DIDN’T moments. What made this one stand out to me, was how unique it sounded ’cause she was not your typical heroine in ANY way. Especially when it came to her appearance. The whole motto is DON’T judge a book by it’s cover. Clever author!!! LOL! read more

Guilty-pleasure LIST time!!

I LOVE a “forbidden love” story. The taboo kind… *waggles eyebrows*, and the less-taboo, but still “professionally iffy” kind. A romance between two co-workers = fun! A romance between a higher up and his/her assistant = MORE FUN!!! 😛 That long-standing crush, the pining, the “playboy” rumors, and that unapproachable, unattainable, undeniably sexy, commanding alpha-male that suddenly (or secretly) takes notice. YAY US!!!

Oh sure… I’ve made it well known that I love my alpha-males bad-ass, dirty-mouthed and loaded in tattoos. But a sexy “book bad boy” in a three piece suit can sure play me good, too. And, if we go by some of these books, the men in suits have been known to be very foul-mouthed, too. 😉 read more

Alessandra Torre – Innocence Series Reading Order

I LOVE this author! I’ve read a a couple of her books (The Dumont Diaries & Sex Love Repeat and enjoyed ’em thoroughly (especially her super-duper book with a crazy twist —> Sex Love Repeat – that one was unputtdownable!). And here is another series that I can’tt wait to get to. It has come highly recommended quite a few times over the last year, and just had a brand new release! This one’s for those of you (and me!) that love the office romance genre… with (from what I hear) a bit of a Fifty Shades/Bared to You feel. read more
