Following my heart, one book at a time...
About book #1:
The only thing she has to give is exactly what they want.
The Covington Heights Crew has a funny way of protecting their own. With rapes from rival gangs and human trafficking riddling their poverty-stricken streets, they’ll keep the girls from their neighborhood safe—for a price. No money? No worries. They have quite creative payment plans.
Leonie needs our book help and this one sounds INCREDIBLE!!! I feel like I’ve read something similar (in regards to the child running errands for the mafia part), but I don’t remember the baby being found, so I’m anxious to know what this one is!
She asks:
Hi Maryse,
I have been following your book blog for a while and I have read a lot of your recommendations. I would like your help in finding a book I read a couple of years ago and can’t remember the name or the author.
Antonietta needs our book help! Oh boy…. it sounds like the heroine is in for some trouble!!
She asks:
URGENT! I NEED TO FIND THIS BOOK!!!
Sorry for my grammar but English is not my first language. I am desperate to find this book that I read not long ago.
It’s about the Lebanese or Albanian mafia. The protagonist is an immigrant in the United States where she lives with her mother and her brother. Her brother only takes money from her.
The hero is the one who sends the heroine to the USA and after a few years he looks for her and they meet again in a hotel where there is a party full of gangsters.
And here is Christabel’s second question for the other book she is looking for. 🙂 Oh boy!! An arrangement that got sticky indeed! GASP!
She asks:
THE SECOND BOOK
The hero is a married mafia who has an arrangement with his wife to see other people, but discreetly he meets the heroine and falls in love with her.
Then the wife’s father hired someone to kill the heroine but his daughter (the hero’s wife) was killed instead.
Thanks so much
UPDATE BY CHRISTABEL. She has a bit more detail for us to spark someone’s memory:
Christabel is looking for two different books, so I’ll separate this into two questions. 🙂
She asks:
Hi
Please have been looking for two books that I read and wants to recommend to a friend but have forgotten the title or the author but remember the plot.
THE FIRST BOOK
The heroine is a masseuse and her best friend begged her to replace her in massaging the hero.
They meet up and start dating.
