Ann is looking for this one! Actually this one sounds a LOT like a recent reader question that we received not that long ago, so I wonder if this is the same book?

She asks:

I am trying to find a book I read a long time ago.

I just remember it was a mafia man who answered the door and thought the girl was his paid escort and she was not.

Kelsey needs our book help! OMG I THINK I KNOW THIS ONE and it’s one of my very favorite duets ever!!

Sejal needs our book help! It almost reminds me of the end of book #1 in a duet by Aly Martinez!! It was an INTENSE scene and quite the crazy cliffhanger and had me on edge BIG TIME.

And if I can remember correctly, the scene she describes below is for secondary characters in this book, that become the MAIN characters in the duet conclusion.
