HELP!!! Need to Find a Short Christmas Story

Ugh, I’ve been searching through all my booked and can’t find the story. I think this short story was one of a few in a seasonal book.

The heroine comes from a rich family and works at a bank. Every year on Christmas eve, she picks up the unused tree’s and sets them up on the door steps of people who have had hard times that year.

The hero comes across her on because either her truck broke down or she’s stuck. He helps her complete the trees and realizes she’s not as stuck up as he thought and of course it’s a happy ending. read more

I am trying to recall a book (think it’s the first in a series) and could use some help!

The heroine has a skin disorder call XP – xeroderma pigmentosum which is rare and doesn’t allow her to go out in the sun. She works at home and runs alone at night in the woods.

She catches the attention of the hero who leads/is part of a group who are either genetically enhanced or shifters (I can’t remember which!) and romantic suspenseful drama ensues. read more

I read this book a couple of years ago about a girl that doesn’t know who her bio dad is.
