Guess the book time! Arlene has a reader question and maybe you can help… She asks:

“I was hoping that you or your reader friends might be able to help me. I am looking for a book and CANNOT find it. I only know the blurb or part of the blurb of the first book. I know there is a second book coming out.

I think he is a famous actor and there is a big age difference. I also know that the book is about their relationship in the public eye and every one thinking she is a gold digger.

It’s reader question Thursday, and Kim JUST sent this one over!! She only read the blurb and wants to know which book it is so she can read it… Maybe y’all know?

She asks:

“I read a synopsis of an upcoming release several weeks (maybe months) ago and I didn’t make note of the title or author and it’s driving me crazy – I want this book!

What I vaguely remember…female inherits the CEO chair of a multi-million dollar department store/chain. She goes into hiding to escape the hounding press – to the swamps of Louisiana, in a run-down old house. A hit-man is hired to “take her out” but as he is stalking her he realizes she is not what he has be led to believe – a spoiled tyrant. read more

GUESS THE BOOK & READER QUESTION TIME! *gasp* This one had me so very excited ’cause I READ IT!!! BUT…. Oh… it’s on the tip of my tongue too!! It’s not Fifty, right? No….? but I TOTALLY read this one and I think I LOVED it. I remember that part… so I opened this one up to our Facebook crew:

Welp. This reader question has sparked my interest BIG time in a HUGELY popular series that I’ve known about forever, even watched the movie, and yet… have yet to read the actual books. But from the reader answers (and their enthusiastic reactions about this series AND the guy), well… how can I not?!
