Reader Question – The book about the experimental vampire-type and the girl that can find missing people…

March 13, 2024 By Maryse Leave a Comment

Jen is looking for this one! Okay it is extremely unique-sounding and wow… I have NO clue but am dying to know too now. Kind of has “Anita Blake” elements but there was nobody “experimentally” made in that series as far as I can remember.

She asks:

Hiya!

Somehow a talented girl meets up with a manmade vampire type – experiments maybe a superhuman – they fall in love while on some case. Maybe she’s the one who can find missing people…

Anyway, there is a local dive bar she hangs out at, her sister is a local makeup artist for the tv station. read more

Reader Question – The book where she moves in with her sister & her fiancé & spends a lot of time with him…

Elisia is looking for this one! Oooooh nooooooo. This one sounds like ALL SORTS OF TROUBLE! Right up my angsty-stressful romance book alley. 😉 I feel like I should know it.

She asks:

So this book is about fmc living with her sister and her sister’s fiance (after her bf broke up with her maybe) and she doesn’t know him, he’s a totally new person to her.

They form a connection when the sister is at work or something (maybe her sister is a lawyer), they even go to a dart/paint throwing thing (in Brooklyn?) for artists. The MMC calls the FMC “slim”, which is a character from the movie “to have and have not” because he loves the movie. read more

Jahnvi needs our book help! Ohhhh I know the answer and I LOVED THIS BOOK!!!! Ooooh the angst and the forbiddeny aspect. Oh yes it went there. Eeeeeep!

She asks:

Hey Maryse.

Can you please help me find a book, where the male main character is either deaf or mute and is a musician.

The female main character is living across from the MMC. They both live across from each other in different buildings and talk to each from the balcony. The FMC also learns asl to talk to him.

thank you,
jahnvi.

Anyone have a guess?
