Amy needs our book help! I’ve read a few like this (and I always LOVE that scene… where the jerk gets his ass handed to him), so I am curious which one this is.

I read a book a while ago and it stayed with me.

I believe the FMC was a doctor and the MMC was a business man. They run back in to each other and resist falling in love but it inevitably happens. I think the FMC was close to her parents (and possibly sister who engineer a meet) and I think I remember a scene in a swanky club/party where she is drunk, her current bf mistreats her and MMC rescues her. read more

Idena needs our book help! Okay well, this could be numerous books that we’ve read however the “serial killer” and “detective” detail might narrow it down nicely.  😀
