Brit hero, college romance (I think)

Am looking for this book I read a long time ago.

The H & h were college or high school sweethearts. The H went back to England after and they lost touch. Fast forward to now and the h is now an accomplished journalist, and I think White House spokesperson, and the H is a BBC?

Foreign correspondent in the US.

I’m trying to figure out the title and author of this romance book:

Its set in college. The H proposes to the h, on a cliff. She accepts but as asoon as she accepts, there’s an accident and she falls off the cliff, losing her memory.

When she wakes up, she doesn’t remember the H, and even her friends I think. This is what I remember. read more

Am looking for this book: I know your amazing readers will know!

The H and h were high school sweethearts, got pregnant, were going to keep the baby. The girl’s parents at the last minute convinced her to give the baby up for adoption. H got to know at the hospital, was heartbroken and left.

About two decades later, came back, with his fiancée. The h had got married, divorced, with a daughter. So, the drama started from there. read more

Hi Maryse!

I’ve just found your blog and I’ve been reading it all morning!

I’ve been desperately trying to remember the name of this book and would love your help. I think it was written in the 2010s and I think I read it around 2018-20.

These are the details I remember:

  • I think the couple were childhood sweethearts and they broke up after discovering their parents were having an affair together. It was the heroine’s mother and the hero’s father. Both of their families were pretty well off at the beginning.
  • At the beginning of the book, I believe the heroine’s mother kills herself and h goes to a snowy cabin to clean out her mother’s things where she sees H again. There they are snowed in together.
  • H is quite cruel to h in the present because he blames her for their parents’ affair together.
  • I remember her being a teacher at a private school and I think she was being stalked or blackmailed (not by hero).

Any help is much appreciated!

But I don’t think I know this one (almost sounds like a Kristen Ashley book – but her guys are usually bikers)… do you?
