Tanya has a short and sweet question for us. And while I LOVED the book she mentions (one of my absolute favs) it’s been awhile since I read it and I can’t remember in regards to her specific question.

Sweet and slow and serene. Another love story from the QUEEN of slow-burn romance and everything in between! I simply can’t get enough of her!
This one had me SO excited. I loved the premise. She was a pen pal for a military hero that was still on duty, and they corresponded every chance he had. Each letter, each moment, each event, detailed as they got to know each other. I was ELATED in what I was about to embark upon. That sweet-slow burn of two characters falling in love through writing without ever seeing each other. Long distance friendship, love… devotion and fear of the unknown. I KNOW this is possible and real.
THIS IS A FIVE STAR SERIES MY FRIENDS!!! :D!!!!!!!!! THE. WHOLE. THING!
Okay, to be fair, this isn’t actually called “The Kulti” series (in fact, each book can be read as a standalone, but they all tie in together so cleverly – and I’d personally recommend reading them in order), and the author has confirmed with me that she hasn’t actually named it anything really… as of yet.
Mariana: I don’t actually have a name for that group of books. If anything, I might have referred to them as my Texas books once or twice. Feel free to call then whatever you want though.
Wait for It
Okay, so you know when I say I’m in the mood for a certain kind of romance read, and I’m always searching for that “next” one? That one that has me dreaming about it, thinking about it, and reading in slow motion during those awesome parts. Those heartfelt, heart-tugging, butterfly inducing scenes. The silly (or serious) conversations. The surprising glances. The subtle possessive behavior by the one you’re (er… she’s) crushing on so hard, even though he doesn’t realize he’s doing it?
I love these reader questions, ’cause they spawn VERY cool reader recommendations lists and “genre favorites” lists. YAY!!!
Okay so I know so many of us are HUGE fans of Mariana Zapata (I’m actually reading “Wait for It” by her as we speak.
And this style of writing and story flow, and slow burn romance is right up my alley, so I’m with Tara on this one. I’d LOVE to hear more recommendations.

I’m having a slight problem. Every time I read a Mariana Zapata novel, I end up with a serious book hangover and nothing seems to compare to her novels. She is my favorite author and the only one who comes in a close second would be Kristen Ashley (who I end up reading status post Zapata to get out of my slump).
