MARIANA ZAPATA IS ONE OF OUR FAVORITE AUTHORS EVER!! Our HUGE love for all books by Mariana Zapata. MOSTLY ALL STANDALONES & WE LOVE THEM!! And some of them have interconnected characters, but no matter where you start, you can’t go wrong with this author. A look down memory lane, and we STILL feel this way now. MORE PLEASE!!!
P.S. SHE IS THE QUEEN OF DELECTABLE SLOW BURNS!!! Warning: These Mariana Zapata books will ruin fast romance for you. 😉
P.S. Next on MY reading list is “All Rhodes Lead Here” & “From Lukov With Love“. I CAN’T WAIT TO START THEM!!
Danette: I anxiously awaited this release as I fell in love with this author’s writing in “Under Locke.” Inst-love is okay sometimes, I just think there’s too much of it out there. But this slooooooooooowwwww burn had me sizzling from the start. It reminds me of the quote from “A Fault In Our Stars”:
I fell in love like you fall asleep — slowly and then all at once. That’s the way the book worked for me. I loved it. Zapata doesn’t turn out lots of work on a regular basis like some of our favorite authors, but her stuff is worth waiting for.
Ashley: …my favorite go-to listens in all of my audiobooks. I’ve listened to Wait For It, Kulti and The Wall of Winnipeg and Me at least 7 times each. There is something so perfect about each one, such feel good stories with characters that are so completely real and relatable. And you’re right about it being all about these small moments. They’re longer books but do not feel long at all and you don’t want them to be over! I’ve highly recommend Mariana Zapata books to several people.
Jessica: Stuck in hospital and bored outta my brain… I’m in the mood for Mariana Zapata but alas I’ve read everything of hers! And everything KA. I need me a slow burn like Wall of Winnipeg or Dear Aaron but I’ve read the slow burn list. Anything new with a Zapata feel?
D.G.: Finished Wait For It by MZ! As always…her slow burns make me HAPPY! This is the first book that we get to visit with previous characters from her other her books…LOVED getting to know Trip better (and briefly visiting Iris and Dex) from Under Locke, best friend Vanessa and Aiden from WoW, and cousin Sal and Rey from Kulti. MZ wove them all in the story so effortlessly. LOVED Dallas and the way he loved her! *sighs*. What to read now???
HERE IS HER BOOK LIST, IN ORDER OF PUBLICATION DATE (because her characters appear here and there throughout her stories):
