<— SARINA BOWEN’S HOCKEY STAR ROMANCE ALERT!!!

P.S. This book just went on big-time sale!! His ex-girlfriend is now the publicist for his team… eeeeep!

Cheryl: Rookie Move was a good sports romance and I love this authors writing style.

About book #1:

Hockey player Leo Trevi has spent the last six years trying to do two things: get over the girl who broke his heart, and succeed in the NHL. But on the first day he’s called up to the newly franchised Brooklyn Bruisers, Leo gets checked on both sides, first by the team’s coach—who has a long simmering grudge, and then by the Bruisers’ sexy, icy publicist—his former girlfriend Georgia Worthington. read more

Book Review – Wrecking Ball by P. Dangelico

Wrecking Ball (Hard To Love Book 1)
SWEEEEEET but in perfect harmony with the whole slow-burn, OH-NO-HE-DIDN’T-WHAT-A-JERK kind of fun! Gah I love a reluctant hero (reclusive, or just darn moody) and this one had him in droves!

It was exactly as my fellow readers squeeeeee’d about.

D.G.: Soooo….Wrecking Ball!!!!!!!!!!! If you FLOVED The Wall of Winnipeg and Me, then you will definitely dig WB!!! This guy is such a strong, huge quiet jerk! And she wants to throat punch him like a lot!!!! Mix in a kid…some football and crazy jealousy…my kinda book! read more

This post is kind of apropos considering today is the Superbowl!!! Er… well… actually my “fever” is for Rugby right now. In fact I think I have ALL BLACKS fever. I don’t even think it was done on purpose, but holy moly, I had to jump on the awesomeness and coincidence of the weekend.

P.S. Trust me… you want to click on EVERY single video link I link to. 😉 Keep tissues handy. ‘Cause… AWESOMENESS POWER EMOTION OVERLOAD. Just sayin’.

Okay so… yesterday, I went to the Native American Festival here in my area, and I was introduced to something I’ve seen before sort of in passing, and LOVED, but somehow… forgot in time. That said, it was reintroduced to me, via a live performance and I was enraptured. I couldn’t quite place it, but I KNEW I heard this beat… this rhythm and strength, this intense manly grunty language-song, before. read more

<— Sports star romance book lovers!!! Here’s a much loved “football” star series and book #3 was just released today! P.S. This author is one half of the author duo, “Erin Watt” (from one of our favorite angsty-bully books, “Paper Princess“!!!)

Lauren: I just read a FAN-FREAKIN-TASTIC book by Jen Frederick called Sacked:A Novel (A Gridiron Novel Book 1). It’s like Elle Kennedy’s & Kristen Callahan’s books….in fact, she thanks both authors in the acknowledgments portion of the book. I loved it! You HAVE to read it! read more
