I’m Julian M. Coleman, an introvert who channels night terrors into writing. I have a book about a demigoddess mother using her supernatural powers to find her kidnapped son.

Molly is in the mood for this genre. Oh I love the sound of this. Aren’t Christine Feehan’s Ghostwalker heroes like this?

RE: Heroes with Telekinesis
Hi Maryse!
Love your blog!!!!
I’m having a hard time finding any paranormal romances where the hero has telekinesis, like he can move/manipulate things with his mind.
I’ve found lots of shifter/vampire/faerie stuff like that, where the “creatures” have powers that go along with whatever they are, but I’m talking about something more realistic without monsters.
YAY ME!! I watched the latest Final Destination Bloodlines and it was SO MUCH FUN!!!!! Exciting and scary, and clever (creative when it came to the deaths – these writers are so clever!!), and so in your face about it. I absolutely LOVE the crazy, out of this world premonitions that start the movie because they are gasp-worth & terrifying and shocking, and WOW this one did not disappoint.
I loved the comedy in this one too.
I mean to take something terrifying and have a group of characters interact and react the way they do, to each other makes it so fun – you feel the camaraderie, connections, the banter – ohhhhh the banter!!!! 😊 – and personal life issues that they have and the focus is NOT only on the horror aspect. Favorite death scene? ALL OF THEM. But especially the initial premonition, the hospital MRI scene and the tattoo parlor scene. PURE EXCELLENCE and a few fun twists along the way. MAN I LOVED IT!
Wanna know what the best part is? It’s inspired by real life events, in a book (that very cop’s own stories).
Talk To Me
That said, I DID really enjoy this one, recommended by my fellow scary-lover, R. Renee (that I rented on Prime).
R. Renee: I also watched Talk To Me last week and it was fantastic. The Edith Piaf scene was genius! Maryse have you seen it yet?
Maryse: I haven’t seen Talk To Me or even heard of it?? I’m going to look it up right now. 😀 Oh that TOTALLY sounds like my thing. I can’t WAIT!!! Thank you, R!!!
