What are you reading now, and are you loving it? It’s time for a book-roundup!
Maryse: I’m reading “A Twisted Love Story” by Samantha Downing. It’s about a totally toxic couple that keeps breaking up and getting back together (YEARS of this – and totally in love – or at least they think they are). HOLY MOLY I have NO idea where this is going, because there are other characters… looking into the character of… these characters. π
Lisa: I canβt wait until your review!
Maryse: Have you read it yet? I’m halfway through it, and loving it. I have NO idea where it’s going though.

…She is to look after their five-year-old son, Teddy.
Mallory immediately loves it. She has her own living space, goes out for nightly runs, and has the stability she craves. But one day, he draws something different: a man in a forest, dragging a womanβs lifeless body.
Then, Teddyβs artwork becomes increasingly sinister, and his stick figures quickly evolve into lifelike sketches well beyond the ability of any five-year-old…”
