Happy reader question day!! I just got one from Nthabeleng, and this one reminds me of a book I read not that long ago, so I’ll venture a guess but I’m somewhat doubtful that it’s the one…

What happens in the book is that a guy goes on a work trip and keeps bumping into this girl. They are instantly attracted to each other and end up spending a night together. She then realizes that he is engaged and leaves the hotel.
A few Thursday new release surprises that look too goo to wait until tomorrow to mention. 😉 Kit Rocha’s latest dystopian BDSM world has a new release. Plus there’s the sweet contemporary romances that are calling my name, one with a deaf girl, one with her brother’s best friend, OHHH!! And one where she wakes up married in Vegas to a stranger (maybe? She was supposed to be at a book signing) OH!!! And this dark-sounding one —> Enigma (with a gorgeous cover that caught my eye, and already sets the mood, and that blurb gave me a definite jolt!)
Author Christine Brae just made an incredible announcement a few days ago regarding her latest book release (In This Life), and I’m so thrilled for her!
“Two weeks ago, I received a message via Instagram from someone who picked up my book by mistake. He wrote to tell me that he was hooked after the first 50 pages, and was interested in optioning it for film and TV. Three days and many messages later, he finished the book and never changed his mind.
Just yesterday, I signed a contract giving Adrian Bellani the option to market and produce In This Life for TV and film.”

I’m currently working out what my next read will be. I’ve got TWO early review copies that I’m DYING to start, plus, I’ve been backtracking on my TBR lists and enjoying a few there too, so… anything goes, today! Maybe you can suggest one?
But from this list? I’m exceptionally *squirrely* over these: The Passage (I LOVE Post apocalyptic, and the trilogy finale was JUST released, so I wanna devour it whole!), A Certain Slant of Light (Ghost love story that had me judging it positively from the gorgeous book cover, but the blurb is even better!), The Dom Games (reality show where women have to be submissive to a certain Dom to win him, and she joins it just because she needs the money for school + I love this author!!), Wild Abandon (another author that I enjoyed her very risqué book #1 in this series, and this one reads as a standalone… he has a VERY dark past!!), This Old Heart of Mine (she gets another woman’s heart in her transplant, and now wonders who her heart is beating for…) <— Eeeep! Does she love the woman’s last love?

This author is an absolute must-read-everything-she-writes author for me, so you can bet, when I received an early review copy of THIS one (paperback format!!!). I was ALL over it.

Maryse: Okay… you guys are gonna be mad. LOL! It’s the upcoming one by Taylor Jenkins Reid (One True Loves)… and it’s only coming out in June so I am WAY early with reading this, but I can’t help it. I CAN’T. THIS is what I’m in the mood for.
