Kat has been an active member of our Facebook page for years!! In fact, I’ve met her AND her mom a few times at book signings (Book Bash), and we loved talking books! Her mom is kinda like my mom when it comes to our romance reads. They love the same books we do. And of course, I know you’ll recognize a lot of her favorites, and I just love her little notes next to each one letting us know why…

LOL what a title!!! But it is EXACTLY that. Lately I’ve been contacted (quite frequently in fact), asking where a specific list is, that my fellow readers saw a few weeks ago, and would like to use, but can no longer find. *sigh* I know…

They get lost… in the plethora of blog posts.

<— Look what was just released today (from one of my “old-school paranormal” favorite series days). This was my first choice to suggest as a “What to read if you love the BDB…” had a similar feel, and had me swooning in all that alpha-vampire romance angst. Human women, with a “mark” that (unbeknownst to her) meant she was meant for one of these vamps. And this is the latest one!

What I’m currently reading? I have NO idea yet… I’m feeling all thriller-like, and there’s one below that has sparked my interest BIG time. I was still recovering from my latest much-loved read (p.s. here’s my review of Rush by Emma Scott), but I’m now ready to move on!! But consider this MY own personal recommendation today! 😀 read more

Book Review – Rush by Emma Scott

RUSH (City Lights: New York City Book 3)
This one was just what the reader ordered!!! The pacing and the detail was such, that I felt as if I was living through her eyes (yet not bogged down with it). And OMG!!! I think this is the first book that has ever had me sobbing for joy… wonderful, relieving, exquisite, pure and unadulterated joy! I thank you Jillian for adamantly recommending it!

Jillian: Rush by Emma Scott is a must read!! Perfectly written and paced. Angry, bitter blind man and his personal assistant, a violinist who has been through heartache herself, struggle to accept their fates and ultimately their love for one another. I know it sounds depressing. But it’s real and beautiful and unique. Five plus stars! read more
