Cover reveal time!! This one’s for Eden Fierce’s debut YA paranormal novel, EYES OF THE WOODS!!

Fun stuff about the book, about Eden and about Eden’s upcoming projects, as revealed on Eden’s Facebook page and author bio:

  • Release date August 2014 (expected late August)
  • Is Eyes of the Woods a standalone? Eden answers: “… yes, there will only be one.”
  • About her characters: “Daniel, the main male character in Eyes of the Woods, isn’t like Travis. But I enjoy him just as much. I hope you will too. Is it bad that in the new book I’m writing, the new main male character has become my favorite? Hehe.” and then she said: “Daniel has been around for a long time, so I feel like I’m betraying him! Haha“
  • Upcoming book signings? “Since it’s coming out in August, I will be in school. I have no idea when/if I’ll be having book signings. If I do, it might be on a weekend, or during break.”

Eden Fierce was born on August 25, 1999 and lives in Enid, Oklahoma with her parents and two siblings. Eyes of the Woods is her debut novel, although it’s only one of nine novels she has completed. Eden enjoys writing, reading, and high school cheer and volleyball. read more

HAPPY BARGAIN EBOOK DAY!! One of my favorite lists of the week, ’cause I get to play in so many “new-to-me” finds, and of course, the price is always right. —> P.S. It’s kind of a shorter list right now, but as soon as I get home this evening, I’m loading it up even more, so check back. 😀

Admittedly, the last two books I fell head-over-heels with (After I Do by Taylor Jenkins Reid and Forever, Interrupted by Taylor Jenkins Reid) were not in the least bit “bargainy” <— 😉 (but I still recommend these 5-star books, easily)!! read more

Remember me freaking out BIG time yesterday? 5-star plussing, now-one-of-my-fav-books-ever, entitled:

“After I Do“. <— Here. This review link should help refresh your memory. 😉 Well, I LOVED this book so much, and this author’s amazing writing style that I immediately jumped right off my TBR list, and one-clicked (and started) her “other” standalone book that she wrote. <— THAT ONE over there, to the left.

Book Review – After I Do by Taylor Jenkins Reid

After I Do: A Novel
<—- WOW!!!!! What a wonderful book!!!! EASILY one of the best books I’ve read this year. Easily a 5 star read (plus?), in my opinion. And EASILY one of my all-time favorites. I will never forget this one, and what it did to my heart. It put me through the ringer, but perfectly so. Nothing contrived, nothing over-the-top, nothing eye-rolling. Just… good (and bad) emotional perfection.

This book was RICH!!!! Rich in realism, rich in intensity, rich in emotion, rich in angst, rich in growth, rich in it’s pacing, rich in it’s eloquent words… Just. Plain. RICH. read more

Latest Paranormal & Contemporary Romance Book Releases – July 15th 2014

Happy new release day!! A few on this one that are big on many TBR lists, like The Book of Life: A Novel (All Souls Trilogy) (a long time in the making, and in the waiting, but it’s finally here!), and that one to the left (Tamed (The Tangled Book 3). So many of us LOVED Drew’s dirty mouth and mind. 😉 And Shame on Him by Tara Sivec (this looks like a steamy-fun series!).

Also —> Make sure you take a look at the bargain book/reader recommendations below. Not a huge list like Friday’s (of course), but this one looks extra angsty-good. And I. Mean. ANGSTY. Heartbreaking, and heart-wrenchingly intense. read more
