Following my heart, one book at a time...
Kim Karr sent over an exclusive excerpt from her upcoming novella, Blurred: A Connections Novella, for today’s Book Bash Author Spotlight!!! 😀
What’s it about?
The story before the love story….
When he lost the only woman he’d ever loved, it seemed there was nothing left to live for.
Even as a boy, all Ben Covington ever wanted was to spend forever with Dahlia London, the beautiful girl next door…then one life-altering decision tore them apart and he was forced to leave her.
Book Bash is almost here (YAY FINALLY!!!!) and we’d love to take a minute to thank our sponsors that are helping make this event so awesome!
Thank you to Atria Books. Atria is sponsoring Maryse’s Pre-registration party, the swag bags <— they look SO COOL and the awesome Book Bash programs. I can’t wait to have one one hand so I can show you guys. 😀 Atria publishes some of our FAVORITE books by some of our FAVORITE authors like Jamie McGuire, Colleen Hoover, Abbi Glines, Katja Millay, Karina Halle and more!! 😀
Two books (so far), Dear Emily, Dear Tabitha and a third (Dear Juliet) on the way! And from the comments I’ve received, loved by many (including my BFF)! I hear these are beautifully written, highly emotional stories about life, love. And adoption.
Tara: Dear Emily by Trudy Stiles is right up your alley. Tears, angst, drama. AND it’s a totally different story. It certainly isn’t like anything that I’ve read before. Trudy tells the story in a very unique way that drew me in immediately. … OMG!!!! I went through a box of tissues with this one. SOOOOO SOOOO Good!!!
<—Comedy romance loved by… it seems EVERYONE that reads these. At least everyone in our reader crew (and there are a ton of y’all!!). I made a recent “favorites” list, and Kat was in a frenzy….
Kat: I was all prepared to be shocked that Neanderthal Seeks Human and Love Hacked didn’t make this list and then I realized you have read any of Penny’s books yet LOL!!
LOL Kat! Nope i haven’t read ’em yet, but I know these’ll be right up my alley (and very likely my favorites). I know I’m missing out.
Author Tasha Ivey just sent us an update about a couple of “work in progresses”, and what we have to look forward to, from her! One, a contemporary romance, and the other… a dark read!! <— *eeeep!*
She says:
“I’m working on two projects simultaneously right now…book 3 of the Every Life Series, Every Glance, and Stolen Beauty. I’m hoping to release Every Glance by the end of July and Stolen Beauty by the beginning of September.”
Here’s a little tidbit from her about “Every Glance” (book #3):
