HAPPY MONDAY!!! ONE WEEK CLOSER to Christmas 🎄 and I’ve been enjoying all of our sweet Christmasy things that my husband and I have been doing. From decorating, to shopping together, to wrapping, to watching Christmas movies on Saturday and Sunday mornings to preparing for our family Christmas supper, and guests staying with us, it’s been sooo cozy so far!

Three things:

1.) Grrrrr…. one of my cool fancy lamps that I bought doesn’t work. I hate when that happens. When I sit and anticipate a shipment, and I can’t wait to put my “something” together and use it to it’s fullest functions, annnnnnd…. I have to return it instead. read more

The Helper <— I couldn’t resist one clicking this one. Cover… appealing, title… intriguing, and OMG!!!! WHAT. A. BLURB. JOLT!!!!! I was SO IN.

I mean, who could resist a down on her luck, single mom (recently out of a financially and emotionally abusive marriage), struggling to keep custody of her daughter due to poverty circumstances and being offered a unique job. I was already in, for that – I love a good hardback story turned into a success story!!

But… what could she possibly be hired for that was so outrageous? What was going to turn her life upside down?? I wanted to go on that ride with her SO bad and so… I did. read more

That sounds like Undeniable by Madeline Sheehan. I read it in 2012. Really great book. I remember waking up ar 2 am to read because I couldn't stop thinking about it. So good.
