Lady Luck (Colorado Mountain)
I think it’s safe to say that I adored this book (#3 in the series), considering my need to get a few parts off of my chest via two “currently reading” posts (here and here). I would have to say that Ty’s book so far had me the most emotionally invested out of all of Kristen Ashley’s heroes. While he still doesn’t take the #1 spot on that list (I think it will forever be Tate), he ranks at #2 with Joe. Max is #2.5 (only ’cause he seemed to be the most normal, and put together of the bunch). Shouldn’t he rank as #1, then? Sure, in real life maybe. But these are books and I read ’em to be shocked and appalled, and angrified and then I like to swoon. A LOT! And a mostly normal alpha doesn’t do the shock and appalling stuff as well as the real bad-boys in these series! LOL!
Terry Spear – Heart of the Wolf Series Reading Order
Nedra: I have bought all of them that available and I started reading them and can’t put them down. … Love them.
Mindy: The Terry Spears books are really good 🙂
About book #1:
While searching for clues of a lupus garou who is killing women in the rainy Portland suburbs, Bella Wilder becomes the hunted. She had run away from the gray pack who had taken her in when she was she young. And she will do so again before the brutish pack leader can have her.
Devlyn Greystoke has a mission—return Bella to the gray pack for safekeeping before she exposes their kind and gets herself killed. But little red wolves are in short supply and high demand and Bella’s determined to be the bait to flush out the killer. Keeping her out of danger is only half the trouble Devlyn encounters as his compulsion to make her his mate grows and she fights being his, fearful the pack leader will kill him.
Book Review – Hot Night by Shannon McKenna
Hot Night
So THIS is the one I hinted about on Facebook (recommended to me by a fellow reader with that very exciting email subject that had me jumping with glee):
Maryse: I decked the halls!! Now time for some eggnog! And a bad-boy book. P.S. I think I have one. Oh yes. It was vehemently recommended to me saying “I’ve found another Travis!! Yes Really!!!” – so you know me 😉 I gotta check out the goods. More to follow…
Michele: Bad Boy?!?!?!….. Travis?!?!? Merry Christmas to ME!!! Can’t wait Maryse, YAY!! 😀
Nora Roberts – The Circle Trilogy
Recommended by a few fellow readers (Dawn and Lisa). Lisa said:
“Also, try Nora Roberts the Circle Trilogy, written really well. I love everything that is listed, just thought to give another couple good stories. Thanks and Happy Holidays to all!”
About book #1:
As a storm rages, the tale of a powerful vampire’s lust for destruction-and of the circle of six charged by the goddess Morrigan to stop her-begins. One of the chosen is a medieval sorcerer whose quest will take him through time-and into the arms of a woman courageous enough to link her destiny to his own.
Today’s Latest Paranormal Book Releases – December 6th 2011
Today’s latest book releases!! OMG look at all of these books!!!
Including one that I’ve been anxiously awaiting (book #3 That Old Black Magic in Michelle Rowen’s “Living in Eden series). *sigh* Darrak. I can’t wait to see the outcome of their future (’cause each time they… *you know* that poor girl’s soul gets a shade darker. And it once was pure!!) ‘Cause he’s a demon, ya know. There are consequences to that sort of thing 😉
Oh! And of course Lawe’s Justice (Breeds) by Lora Leigh, Clockwork Prince (Infernal Devices) by Cassandra Clare AND Bound by the Vampire Queen by Joey W. Hill (I can’t WAIT to start this series). I hear very good things (but it’s on the harder spectrum of “good”). I’m intrigued… Tee hee!
