Happy EARLYBIRD Day! These are the books that just went live, before tomorrow’s BIG release list, and it has quite a few of our favorite authors on it. Like Marie Force right there to the left (when the preorder for this one went up, it shot up into Amazon’s top 100!!). The latest by Abbi Glines was just released, A. Meredith Walters (that one’s a bit late on my part, ’cause it was released a few days ago, but it SOUNDS AWESOME!!), Chantal Fernando’s latest also sounds like it could be fun (and maybe angsty!!).
Book Review – The Twilight Wife by A.J. Banner
The Twilight Wife
I liked it! A bit slow going at first (and for a good portion of it) and yet, I never once wanted to stop reading it because it held me. I had to know what was going on and what… happened, and I REALLY felt for the main character as she tried to make sense of her life.
Yep! Psych-thrillery fun that kept me intrigued the whole way through, because, or maybe despite of, its quiet intensity. It was for the most part, calm and easy-going (albeit ominous) throughout much of the storyline as we live life via the eyes of a woman with amnesia, trying to get to know her husband again. Somebody she can’t remember at all.
Movie Review – The Girl With All the Gifts (written by M.R. Carey)

The Girl With All the Gifts <— OMG I was DYING to read this. I one-clicked this book back October of 2015 (yep… for Halloween – what perfection! Especially when I read this chilling blurb):
Melanie is a very special girl. Dr Caldwell calls her “our little genius.”
Every morning, Melanie waits in her cell to be collected for class. When they come for her, Sergeant keeps his gun pointing at her while two of his people strap her into the wheelchair. She thinks they don’t like her. She jokes that she won’t bite, but they don’t laugh. The Girl With All the Gifts is a groundbreaking thriller, emotionally charged and gripping from beginning to end.
Talk about a blurb-jolt. THAT is what I’m talking about when I want to be enticed to read something. Short and sweet (er… not so sweet, in this case) but totally loaded in thrill-potential, and doesn’t really tell me anything other than… OMG I HAVE to find out what this means!!!
Megan Erickson & Santino Hassell – Cyberlove Series Reading Order
M/M ROMANCE ALERT!!!!! Two much-loved, awesome authors got together to write this series, and I just found out book #4 will be released in June!!!
P.S. Each one can be read as a standalone!
Fabi: I don’t know what magic trick Hassell uses to bring his characters instantly alive and relatable. I fall in love with every character he writes. …if I were to recommend to you your first Santino Hassell book, I’d want to stear you towards his collab with Megan Erickson, Strong Signal. It was my favorite of the month when I read it. Santino’s characters are hard and gritty and so freakin’ real. Megan added a certain sweetness factor to Strong Signal that melted my heart. …If you like m/m romance, this is a five-star.
