The Matchmaker’s Playbook (Wingmen Inc. 1) <— IN THE MOOD FOR LIGHTHEARTED & FUN ROMANCE? We love Rachel VanDyken and Cristina (she’s been with us for years now!!) LOVED this one!
How did I miss it? Well… since she sent us a recent AMAZING book review (and I’m reading that book as we speak) I just found this one (and a few others that she’s sent over), and I’m creating posts to her favorites.
I’m SO glad I’ve found them, and I’m so glad she’s with us.

I finished “The Matchmaker’s Playbook” by Rachel Van Dyken today. I was ready for a light-hearted read this time around. It was a really great romantic comedy, reminiscent of Emma Chase’s books.
Ian Hunter and his best friend, Lex, run a company called “Wingmen, Inc.”
Basically they help the frumpy, shy girls land their dream men, essentially by playing their “Wingman.” And of course there are rules. However, things get messy when Ian starts falling for his latest client who happens to be rooming with his other best friend, Gabi.
There is a lot of great and witty banter between the characters which had me laughing out loud at times. I like the concept of the story and it kept my attention the entire time.
A solid 4.5 stars!
If you’re in the mood for a romantic comedy, I recommend this one!
