It is time for Joy’s awesome (and huge) list and I can’t wait until you discover everything she’s loved. I (and many of us) have read a bunch of the older series she lists here (and we agree!!), but there’s a ton of new-to-me on here too.
And now… Joy’s Best Books of 2022:
1. The Three Series by Kristen Ashley
Angie agrees! “Lucien from the book “Until the sun falls from the sky.” It’s the first book in the Three series by Kristen Ashley (another favorite author). If you haven’t read this series I highly recommend it.
The first one is about a vampire, the second book is about a werewolf, and the third is about a vampire/werewolf hybrid who all three together will save the world. 🌎”
Nay: I loved the 2nd book of the Three series with the werewolf guy–I thought he was UBER sexy! That’s one of my favorite KA books.
2. Ruthless Warlords by Alison Aimes
3. A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas
Angela agrees: I love A Court of Thorns and Roses. It’s been one of the biggest escape reads and throughout the series the love story changes and get so much better.
4. The Jack & Jill Series by Jewel E. Ann
Mony agrees! Loved the Jack & Jill Series by Jewel E. Ann…special!
Pixie: read the Jack and Jill series by Jewel E. Ann, I know-where have I been-and I loved all the men from Jude/Jack to Luke, the grumpy Sgt Maj and even his son. Highly recommend.
MichelleS: …read Jack and Jill series. You will NOT be disappointed. …My absolute favorite Jewel E Ann series ever. In case you don’t know what to read next.
5. The Miles High Club Series by T. L. Swan
Lisa M agrees: Amazing series love all her books. Can’t wait for the next one in The Miles High Club.
Shirley too: This series will still your heart. I loved all three books. They will have laughing and crying. Books you can’t put down. I have a had these about a month have already read them twice. If you like these books you will like Our Way and MR. Masters. So addicted to TL Swan books.
6. Revealing The Monster by Amelia Hutchins
7. The Five Points Mob Collection by Serena Akeroyd
8. A Dark & Dirty Sinners MC Series by Serena Akeroyd
Hi Maryse! I’ve become hooked on Serena Akeroyd for the past three weeks. I started with her Satan’s Sinners MC series and am now reading the Filthy Feckers (Irish Mob) series.
They intertwine for a broader experience, but I was so caught up in the Sinners that I was too impatient to go along with the reading order, lol. I wish I had, because now I keep going back into the Sinners to read over all parts about The Five Points.
It’s a really good storyline and will intertwine with 2 other factions (The Hell’s Rebels and another mafia family). There’s definitely a fair amount of steam, but I’m more interested in the growing relationships between the characters and their women and how the 5 factions work at containing a common threat that is immersed in various nations and organizations!
9. Colorado Mountain Series by Kristen Ashley
Lindsay agrees: Colorado Mountain Series is what started my KA reading obsession…
Christine: …am now rereading Kristen Ashleys Colorado mountain series. Love me some Alpha Jerk…
Linda: …the Colorado Mountain series… I swear she DOES NOT disappoint. Omg great series!!! Just when I think the next book can’t top the last one she goes and does it!!!
10. The Bargainer Series by Laura Thalassa
Ashley agrees: my favorite fantasy romance that I’ve read so far has to be the Bargainer Series by Laura Thalassa!
Colleen: My favorite fantasy romance is Rhapsodic (the bargainer series) by Laura Thalassa. It’s got a Siren, a king Fae, a long lost love story. What more could a gal want? The book goes between Callie(the siren) and Des ( the fae king)when they first met, to ten years later, when Des needs Callie’s help. Women Soldiers in Des’s kingdom are leaving and coming back in comas and pregnant. he needs Callie’s help to find out what’s going on and how to wake them. There’s an evil lerking in the shadows and they need to find it before it finds them. I don’t want to spoil it, but it’s a must read!!!
11. Renegade Sons MC by Dawn Martens
Joy: I found something else during my search that’s really good. It’s called Renegade Lady by Dawn Martens. It was in a list of MC recommendations that I came across. I’m 65 pages in and didn’t wanna put it down last night!
12. Death by Laura Thalassa
13. The Sheild Maiden Series by Melanie Karsak
Joy: I’ve been on a wolf shifter and Viking binge… Melanie Karsak’s Shield Maiden series is great as well.
14. The Five Packs Series by Cate C. Wells
15. Wolf Girl Series by Leia Stone
Joy: I’ve been on a wolf shifter and Viking binge and discovered Leia Stone! Holy smokes, Wolf Girl was so good but ends in a cliffy.
16. Fallen King by Giana Darling
17. The Disciples Series by Cassandra Robbins
18. The Blackstone Academy Series by Elizabeth Dear
19. Law of the Lycans Series by Nicky Charles
Carissa agrees! “I LOVED the Law of the Lycans series by Nicky Charles…”
Milissa: I have always loved Nicky Charles if you haven’t read her she is good
Lily: Nicky Charles I have to say hands down your books are better than the twilight series. I hope one day your book becomes a movie because I will be the first one there on opening night.
20. The Monsters of Saint Marks by J. A. Huss
Joy: Monsters of Saint Mark’s Series. It’s a great series! Julie Huss knows how to spin a tale, and this one does not disappoint. It’s a fresh take on Greek Mythology. I listened to the audio book while reading it and fell in love with it! …Oh, one last thing. J.A. Huss writes PNR as KC Cross.
21. The Coveted Prey series (15 Novellas) by L.V. Lane
22. Carnage Island: A Rejected Mates Reject Island stand-alone by Lexi C. Foss
