Can you please get a trend going for romantic trilogies? Can be dark/steamy, or light just need a good plot, and you know the best books are the ones we hate to finish!! Lol

Kelly: Maryse, you have to read the Ravenhood series by Kate Stewart! I know you are a fan of hers and this series is probably one of the best she has written. Try it because if not you are missing out big time! And I’m sure I’m not the only one who will agree.
Cristina: YES!!!!! LOVED that series! It’s most likely my favorite of the year!
Shaleen: Yep!! It pretty much ruined me too, in the best way possible. A must read.

Pia: …you really have to read this one. IT HAS RUINED ME FOR ANY FUTURE BOOKS I have read so many of her books – Drive and Heartbreak Warfare have been my favorites so far. But this one tops everything she has ever written.
I finished it last night, and don’t know how I will be able to start another book – I just want to stay in Triple Falls and in Cecilias life. I could quote the entire book, but this one stood out:
“I do what thieves do, I stole you”.
5 stars are not nearly enough.

MichelleS: It’s a time travel romance. She’s an antique store owner who finds a photograph she’s drawn to. She gets thrown back to 1912 Charleston & is the wife of a broody, well off man who hates her. She wants to get back to her fiancé in 2017. Really good story so far! It’s called The Surviving Trace. It’s got the formula I love: feisty girl, brooding man. Yay.
Cheryl: I loved this trilogy and Alessandra Torre is one of my fav authors!!
Erin M: The Innocence series of course I loved that series!!! Now I gotta go back and reread… I enjoyed him before but it’s gonna be better now.
Dawn: The Godfather
Karen: The Godfather by Mario Puzo. I was 14 when I read it. I found it in a box of books in our cellar. I read it in a day. When I was finished, I flipped back to the front and read it again. My mother was not thrilled when she found out I read it.
Lauren: I read all the time as a child & learned to read @ a very early age. I remember (and my mom loves to tell this story) when I was 6yrs old & I picked up my Dad’s copy of The Godfather & read the entire book before my parents even realized I had it. Then I did the same thing with my mom’s copy of Rage of Angels by Sidney Sheldon. My love of mafia/hitman books was born at an early age!!

I remember reading about a year and a half ago that Paullina Simons was posting about TBH becoming a movie!!! I was THRILLED. But, no word yet 🙁
Alexandra: The most epic book I’ve ever read is The Bronze Horseman by Paulina Simons.
Harper: I recommend you finish the series on book 2 though. I was so angry with the third one.

Elizabeth: Picking a favorite book is an almost impossible task, but I guess if I had to pick, I’d say JRR Tolkien’s The Lord of the Rings trilogy. It fuels my geekness!!
Bobbie: My favorite book is The Lord of the Rings. Have read it six times and will probably read it again.
Jaime: My favorite book of all time has to be The Lord of the Rings. It has action, adventure, romance, good, evil, and elves. Don’t forget the elves….and hobbits….;)
Angela: The only books I’ve ever read twice were the Lord of the Rings trilogy books by J.R.R. Tolkien – so I’d have to say that series is my all time favourite.

Debbie: Asked my husband to read the first chapter of Nine Minutes by Beth Flynn … he took the book to work with him and finished it in a week and he doesn’t read a lot at all. I would give that book to all my book friends!
Angie: the Three series by Kristen Ashley (another favorite author). If you haven’t read this series I highly recommend it. The first one is about a vampire, the second book is about a werewolf, and the third is about a vampire/werewolf hybrid who all three together will save the world. 🌎
Christina: First I would just like to say Christine Feehan started me off then lead me to look for more and lead me to your website, Maryse where I keep finding my fantasy books. …other great series are The Three by Kristen Ashley very good and Fantasyland series bad boys. 🙂

Lisa: After reading the 44 chapters series by BB Easton, I eagerly searched for any other books she’s written and came across Fighting for Rain. It’s my first dystopian series and even though I’m only 50% in, I’m hooked. SO good!!

Erica: Prior to this trilogy, my fave was The Hunger Games. I devoured those books in middle school. But then BB went and outdid everything with Rain & Wes. They have my heart.

Love Me With Lies trilogy by Tarryn Fisher
Stacey: Agree! Taryn Fisher’s Love Me With Lies series (Opportunist, Dirty Red and Theif) is so good. Each book is told from a different POV, and is not just a re-hashing of the same events. This series is excellent on Audible (especially the “other woman’s” story, Dirty Red).
Ela: I would love to be just reading the Opportunist/Love me with lies series! One of my all time favorite series where EACH book was awesome and not some filler follow up crap!
Diane M: Love me with Lies is just one of the best, I loved Dirty red too, had one of my fave moments of the entire trilogy and it was genius to see it through Leah’s POV

…if you read This Man series, just know it is not just crazy town, its OTT crazy town. I loved it…but it is a lot to take in. Some peeps hated it. Perhaps with the warning, you will be better prepared? Hee hee 🙂
Bad Things (Tristan and Danika Trilogy) – R.K. Lilley
Maryse: This trilogy MY FAVORITE!!!!! YAY!!! Or one of ’em… 😉 Another rock star trilogy loaded in angst and turmoil and pain and swooning!! Oooooh!!
Jenn: OMG I am done with Bad Things….Not sure how my heart or ovaries survived! Near the end wrecked me as I was so focused on the H/H that I did not see that coming and it broke my heart! I’m kinda scared to start “Rock Bottom”

Michele G: I’m finishing Gus (had to jump in after Bright Side)! I seriously could have used buddies for these – pure free for all tears flowing down my face and me saying no to the book as I’m reading it. Such good reads though – unbelievably beautiful books.
Molly: My most epic read would have to be Bright Side by Kim Holden!! It never fails to give me the “FEELS”!!!!
Nay: You NEED to read Gus. I loved it even more than Bright Side, probably *because* it was a ‘healing’ book. It was wonderful!
Tessa: Okay, let me just say, Franco by Kim Holden just totally stole my heart. It’s all told from his POV, but darn if the story wasn’t remarkable. The author said this, so it’s not a spoiler. It has an HEA. It was funny, sweet, romantic, a bit emotional, and just happy. The author could have tied in something that would have really hit, but only if you read Bright Side. I’m glad she didn’t because she truly made it a standalone. Bright Side stuff is mentioned, but unless you read the book, nothing overly sad. (I read the book, OMG my heart clenched, but no tears). THIS IS A MUST READ!!!!

Paceluvr: I was always a big reader, but 50 Shades of Grey introduced me to an entirely different genre… and you, Maryse! I Googled “what to read after 50” and you popped right up forever ago. From there it was the Crossfire series, Fantasyland series, any and all Maya Banks, Tiffany Reisz, etc. My world is brighter (and my hubby is happier) because of you all! 🤣
- Anna Zaires Twist Me series
Young: Anyone who is in book slump, please read ‘Twist me’ by Anna Zaires! This book is SO GOOD!!! and got me out of a big ditch after trying so many DNF books. I’m over 80% in the book 1 and am going right into book 2 after.
Cristina: Twist Me series by Anna Zaires. LOVED IT! Kidnapped girl taken to an island and falls for her twisted captor? Yes please!

R. Renee: Sierra Simone’s New Camelot series did the same thing to me as The Fish Tales. I was obsessed with that series and I didn’t even think it would be for me. I only started it because I was told the writing was spectacular. By the end of the first book, I was hooked and by the end of the series, it owned me. I’d give anything to find another series that would do that to me!
Janie: What a great idea! I have a few trilogy recommendations that immediately come to mind! If I sit here and think for a while, I could come up with more, but these are the ones that stick out in my mind.
*Nevernight Chronicles by Jay Kristoff (more grimdark fantasy, but does have a romance in it)
*Cousins O’Dwyer by Nora Roberts (witchy and set in Ireland. Love the atmosphere of this one)
***honorable mention, but definitely not a trilogy. It actually currently has 15 or 16 books, but I’ve read them all and loved them. It’s the Sigma Force series by James Rollins (science thrillers with all sorts of amazing scientific and historic elements. The series does have a few slow burn relationships that I loved also.) His standalone books are also very good.

YES!!! I’m adding American Queen (although as much as I want to add Thoughtless – it’s now up to 5 books, and I’m trying to keep this in “trilogy” mode).
Actually I see both series are 5 books each, but I suspect the initial 3 books are “trilogy like” so I added them.
American Queen is an actual trilogy Maryse. The others parts go this series are characters from AQ but are more ‘standalone’
