Katie asked for this, and here it is (and will be a work in progress for days!!) So if you don’t see your favorite on here, let me know by email or in the comments, and I’ll add it. π I LOVE THIS LIST!!!!
Katie:Β Hello!
Can you please get a trend going for romantic trilogies? Can be dark/steamy, or light just need a good plot, and you know the best books are the ones we hate to finish!! Lol
Maryse: GREAT IDEA!!!! OMG YES! On it!!! βΊοΈ
OUR FAVORITE BOOK TRILOGIES:
Donna: The Ravenhood Trilogy by Kate Stewart – still not got over it x
Kelly: Maryse, you have to read the Ravenhood series by Kate Stewart! I know you are a fan of hers and this series is probably one of the best she has written. Try it because if not you are missing out big time! And Iβm sure Iβm not the only one who will agree.
Cristina:Β YES!!!!! LOVED that series! Itβs most likely my favorite of the year!
Shaleen: Yep!! It pretty much ruined me too, in the best way possible. A must read.
Nancy: The Ravenhood Triology by Kate Stewart
Pia: …you really have to read this one.Β IT HAS RUINED ME FOR ANY FUTURE BOOKSΒ I have read so many of her books β Drive and Heartbreak Warfare have been my favorites so far. But this one tops everything she has ever written.
I finished it last night, and donβt know how I will be able to start another book β I just want to stay in Triple Falls and in Cecilias life.Β I could quote the entire book, but this one stood out:
βI do what thieves do, I stole youβ.
5 stars are not nearly enough.
Kathe: Jack and Jill series by Jewel E Ann
Kristy: this is my absolute favorite
Darcie: oooooooh love this
Rebecca: I love all of Jewel E. Annβs books but that trilogy was my absolute favorite. I think I read half of it out loud to my husband. π
Nicole: I have to say Iβve been sleeping rather poorly since you posted about Calia Reeds Surviving Time Trilogy, I AM OBSESSED!! Itβs so good!! I blew through book one and Iβm about halfway through book two. Great recommendation!
Maryse: YAYYYYYYY for the feedback, Nicole. I keep hearing that itβs unputdownable!!! π
MichelleS: Itβs a time travel romance. Sheβs an antique store owner who finds a photograph sheβs drawn to. She gets thrown back to 1912 Charleston & is the wife of a broody, well off man who hates her. She wants to get back to her fiancΓ© in 2017. Really good story so far! Itβs called The Surviving Trace. Itβs got the formula I love: feisty girl, brooding man. Yay.
Julie O: END OF INNOCENCE trilogy by Alessandra Torre. One of my all time favorites. Brad DeLuca yum!!!!!
Cheryl: I loved this trilogy and Alessandra Torre is one of my fav authors!!
Erin M: The Innocence series of course I loved that series!!! Now I gotta go back and rereadβ¦ I enjoyed him before but itβs gonna be better now.
Dawn: TheΒ Godfather
Karen: The Godfather by Mario Puzo. I was 14 when I read it. I found it in a box of books in our cellar. I read it in a day. When I was finished, I flipped back to the front and read it again. My mother was not thrilled when she found out I read it.
Lauren: I read all the time as a child & learned to read @ a very early age. I remember (and my mom loves to tell this story) when I was 6yrs old & I picked up my Dadβs copy of The Godfather & read the entire book before my parents even realized I had it. Then I did the same thing with my momβs copy of Rage of Angels by Sidney Sheldon. My love of mafia/hitman books was born at an early age!!
Debra:Β Breathless trilogy by Maya Banks.Β All 5 star reads for me. 3 best friend billionaires.
Taylor: soooo good
Michelle F: I liked that Breathless series. π
Katelynn: Divergent trilogy
Cassie: Iβll say the book that kick started my reading obsessionβ¦.Divergent! I loved it!
Heather: Also, love Divergent.
Maria: I read Divergent and completely LOVED it!! …definitely YAβ¦
Suzie: The Last Score series by KL Shandwick is a trilogy- I LOVE Gibson
Wendy: I agree fabulous trilogy
Margaret: love these books
Ann: love that series
Susan: 2 series by KL Shandwick… Ready for Flynn trilogy and The Last Score series.
Andrea: Ready For Flynn Trilogy, The Last Score series and The Everything Trilogy
Angela: I loved the Ready for Flynn trilogy and the last score series the Everything series everyone is excellent reading
Lauren: My absolutely favourite trilogy ever is The Bronze Horseman series, by Paulina Simons but I was also particularly enthralled by The Fish Tales series by Suanne Laqueur
Lauren: Does Tatiana and the Bronze Horseman count? Favorite book of all time!! Epic!!
Jessica: The Bronze Horseman is by far my favorite book of all timeβ¦ and Iβve recommended it to literally all of my past and present co-workers and customers! I remember reading about a year and a half ago that Paullina Simons was posting about TBH becoming a movie!!! I was THRILLED. But, no word yet π
Alexandra: The most epic book Iβve ever read is The Bronze Horseman by Paulina Simons.
Harper: I recommend you finish the series on book 2 though. I was so angry with the third one.
R. Renee: my most epic read ever (go ahead guys and collectively roll your eyes :roll π The Fish Tales! …Yep. Fish Tales gutted me. It still guts me. You really have to be a masochist.
Christina: Lord of the Rings, by Tolkien. Hands down.
Elizabeth: Picking a favorite book is an almost impossible task, but I guess if I had to pick, Iβd say JRR Tolkienβs The Lord of the Rings trilogy. It fuels my geekness!!
Bobbie: My favorite book is The Lord of the Rings. Have read it six times and will probably read it again.
Jaime: My favorite book of all time has to be The Lord of the Rings. It has action, adventure, romance, good, evil, and elves. Donβt forget the elvesβ¦.and hobbitsβ¦.;)
Angela: The only books Iβve ever read twice were the Lord of the Rings trilogy books by J.R.R. Tolkien β so Iβd have to say that series is my all time favourite.
Melinda: It’s been a long time since I’ve read those but I have to agree.
Camille: A Discovery of Witches-All Souls Trilogy-Deborah Harkness. So, so beautiful! Love between βcreaturesβ is forbidden. The author is an Elizabethan scholar-the writing is phenomenal. And bonus: theyβve made a show of the series on Sundance Channel. They are in season 2 now!
Erica: I absolutely love the All Souls Trilogy by Deborah Harkness. All three books are amazing. Talking about them makes me want to reread them!
Michele G: Anyone else on here who has read A Discovery of Witches and the other books in the All Souls Trilogy by Deborah Harkness? I loved all three of them
Camille: Hi, Maryse! One of my favorite trilogies is the All Souls Trilogy by Deborah Harkness. Paranormal with time travel.
Catherine: The Farseer trilogy by Robin Hobb
Karen: my favorite top mafia couple would be Marcus and Cora from theΒ Innocence trilogy by Stasia Black and Lee Savino. That is one of my favorites for sure
Mary Ann: Nine Minutes Beth Flynn
Deborah: Agreed!
Brandi: My fav biker is Grizz from Beth Flynn Nine Minutes trilogy.
Felicia: Guys, I just read Nine Minutes based off of a recent biker list and it was amazing
Debbie: Asked my husband to read the first chapter of Nine Minutes by Beth Flynn β¦ he took the book to work with him and finished it in a week and he doesnβt read a lot at all. I would give that book to all my book friends!
Mallory: The Three by Kristen Ashley
Angie: the Three series by Kristen Ashley (another favorite author). If you havenβt read this series I highly recommend it. The first one is about a vampire, the second book is about a werewolf, and the third is about a vampire/werewolf hybrid who all three together will save the world. π
Christina: First I would just like to say Christine Feehan started me off then lead me to look for more and lead me to your website, Maryse where I keep finding my fantasy books. …other great series are The Three by Kristen Ashley very good and Fantasyland series bad boys. π
Linda: the Three series… Until the Sun Falls from the Sky and With Everything I Am!! Yep pure heavenly book fog!!!!*sigh* 5star reads!!!
Nancy: I have been in a book Heaven! ABSOLUTION by Autumn Grey the last book in the Grace Trilogy has been released. We finally get closure on Sol & Graceβs Forbidden love story. And what an ending it is!!!***********
Lindsey: Wicked by Jennifer L. Armentrout
MichelleS: Wicked Trilogy, Jennifer Armentrout.Β I needed A LOT of fantasy to get through 2020. Ms Armentrout always delivers.
Samantha: my favorite romance is the Wicked trilogy AND the sequel novellas. Love Ivy and Ren but equally adore Brighton and Caden.
Tessa: Wicked Trilogy, and yep. Not YA. Itβs new adult.
Ashley H: I think my favorite series that might fall under this category is BB Eastonβs Rain Trilogy!
Amanda: I read the first two books this week and am dying to read the third… !! I read them through kindle unlimited. My first Bb Easton books and Iβm hooked!!
Pernilla: This series is amazing
Nikita: I love this series so much! …so far this series is right among the top of my dystopian faves
Lisa: After reading the 44 chapters series by BB Easton, I eagerly searched for any other books sheβs written and came across Fighting for Rain. Itβs my first dystopian series and even though Iβm only 50% in, Iβm hooked. SO good!!
Carly: Honestly, this was my first post-apocalyptic book and I loved it!
Erica: Prior to this trilogy, my fave was The Hunger Games. I devoured those books in middle school. But then BB went and outdid everything with Rain & Wes. They have my heart.
Cleida: Needing Moore by Julie Richman
Julie O: I absolutely loved the Needing Moore series. Soooo good!
Bonnie: My book fog was because of the Needing Moore series by Julie Richman. Could not put it down and recommended it to everyone I know that likes to read.
Julie: ^^yes β I read the Needing Moore series and loved it! I five starred the last book and Iβm stingy with those five star ratings! …they are finished although a spin off is planned and I canβt wait to read it or anything else she writes. Needing Moore was sweet and angsty β highly recommend!
Tessa: Whoever recommended the Needing Moore series: thank you! Itβs so good, and has sucked me in big time.
S.J.: Red Rising Trilogy by Pierce Brown. (The original 3 books.)
Michelle: Red Rising is another one of my favorite books and Iβve read nothing that compares to it β highly recommend!
Lisa M: For you MC lovers OMG I just finished reading Devils Reach trilogy by JL Drake it was so freaking good. I canβt even recommend it enough. Heavy sigh 10 times over!! So sad itβs over!!!
Savannah: Broken by J.L. Drake
Mindy: I agree.
Jamie: definitely the Broken Trilogy!
Melody:Β OMG! A must read I stumbled upon and I was HOOKED! The Broken Trilogy by J.L. Drake…. I think I have a new BB. Cole Loganβ¦.mmmmm. Savior with a safe house and oh man the other guys, Mark and Keith and and and, oh the ultimate a$$ York! Scared, happy, sad, anxious, madβ¦ I felt it all! β€οΈCole **SWOON**
Kim: Every trilogy by J.L.Β Drake!!!
Kirsty:
Stay With Me Series – Nicole Fiorina
Carolina: Mia from Stay With Me by Nicole Fiorina π₯ Loved how strong she was after everything that happened to her.
- Trylle Trilogy – Amanda Hocking
Taylor: just wanted to mention the trylle series. They are simply brilliant β im reading them for the 3rd time! (They are by Amanda Hocking)
Heidi:
Love Me With Lies trilogy by Tarryn Fisher
Stacey: Agree! Taryn Fisherβs Love Me With Lies series (Opportunist, Dirty Red and Theif) is so good. Each book is told from a different POV, and is not just a re-hashing of the same events. This series is excellent on Audible (especially the βother womanβsβ story, Dirty Red).
Ela: I would love to be just reading the Opportunist/Love me with lies series! One of my all time favorite series where EACH book was awesome and not some filler follow up crap!
Diane M: Love me with Lies is just one of the best, I loved Dirty red too, had one of my fave moments of the entire trilogy and it was genius to see it through Leahβs POV
Emi Lost and Found trilogy by Lori Otto
Kristen: there is a huge shocker in the Emi Lost and Found series by Lori Otto! SO GOOD!
Raelene: I just read the Emi Lost and Found series: I havenβt cried this much over a book since Dumbledore died!
Melissa: I love the Emi Lost and Found series by Lori Otto. I was quite emotional when reading those books, especially Time Stands Still.
Danielle: Too many to pick just one!
This Man – Jodi Ellen Malpas
Robyn: Iβm thinking I might do a reread of This Man. Iβve already reread that series twice.
Lisa M:Β This Man series I canβt even tell you how many times I have re-read this series!!! Loving With This Man!! Never want it to end.
Leslie M: I loved This Man series. Gah! Jesse Ward & his craziness. That series had the best epilogue.
…if you read This Man series, just know it is not just crazy town, its OTT crazy town. I loved itβ¦but it is a lot to take in. Some peeps hated it. Perhaps with the warning, you will be better prepared? Hee hee π
Bad Things (Tristan and Danika Trilogy) – R.K. Lilley
Maryse: This trilogy MY FAVORITE!!!!! YAY!!! Or one of ’em… π Another rock star trilogy loaded in angst and turmoil and pain and swooning!! Oooooh!!
Jenn: OMG I am done with Bad Thingsβ¦.Not sure how my heart or ovaries survived! Near the end wrecked me as I was so focused on the H/H that I did not see that coming and it broke my heart! Iβm kinda scared to start βRock Bottomβ
Cheryl: so jealous youβre reading Bad Things. What a tummy-twisty, CRAZY angsty ride. Loved the entire series!!
Leslie M: Tristan & Danikaβs story. I swear that is everyoneβs fave. Itβs a good one!!
Jennifer:
Shaleen: Yes, I thought Slammed was pure genius, especially for a first time writer.
Maryse: Another one of my favorites ever!
Patricia: My favorite healing book is Slammed by Colleen Hoover. Layken and Will are two tortured souls who help heal each other using poetry.
Leslie M: Slammed!! Aaaah, I loved this one. Remember the old school new adult gems? Thoughtless, Easy, Beautiful Disasterβ¦
Bright Side and
Michele G: Iβm finishing Gus (had to jump in after Bright Side)! I seriously could have used buddies for these β pure free for all tears flowing down my face and me saying no to the book as Iβm reading it. Such good reads though β unbelievably beautiful books.
Molly: My most epic read would have to be Bright Side by Kim Holden!!Β It never fails to give me the βFEELSβ!!!!
Nay: You NEED to read Gus. I loved it even more than Bright Side, probably *because* it was a βhealingβ book. It was wonderful!
Tessa: Okay, let me just say, Franco by Kim Holden just totally stole my heart. Itβs all told from his POV, but darn if the story wasnβt remarkable. The author said this, so itβs not a spoiler. It has an HEA. It was funny, sweet, romantic, a bit emotional, and just happy. The author could have tied in something that would have really hit, but only if you read Bright Side. Iβm glad she didnβt because she truly made it a standalone. Bright Side stuff is mentioned, but unless you read the book, nothing overly sad. (I read the book, OMG my heart clenched, but no tears). THIS IS A MUST READ!!!!
Maryse: OH YES!!!!!!!!!! My latest absolute favorite trilogy!
Amy: THOSE have my heart. I remember so much about them, scenes and feels and the beautiful, heart wrenching uniqueness of the story. That picture on Transcend now that I know the context of itβ¦oh, my heart.
Jenn: I loved it so much. I want to scream it from the roof tops.
Beth:
all of these!!!
Danielle:
Denise: Of course my choice is βFifty Shades of Greyβ
Marion: Fifty Shades of Grey, β¦.. in terms of the βfeelsβ & how hooked I was.
Paceluvr: I was always a big reader, but 50 Shades of Grey introduced me to an entirely different genreβ¦ and you, Maryse! I Googled βwhat to read after 50β and you popped right up forever ago. From there it was the Crossfire series, Fantasyland series, any and all Maya Banks, Tiffany Reisz, etc. My world is brighter (and my hubby is happier) because of you all! π€£
Shaleen: Thereβs so many more but my memory fails me lol.
- Anna Zaires Twist Me series
Young: Anyone who is in book slump, please read βTwist meβ by Anna Zaires! This book is SO GOOD!!! and got me out of a big ditch after trying so many DNF books. Iβm over 80% in the book 1 and am going right into book 2 after.
Cristina: Twist Me series by Anna Zaires. LOVED IT! Kidnapped girl taken to an island and falls for her twisted captor? Yes please!
- The Best Man series by Natasha Anders
Mount Trilogy by Meghan March
JulieO: I really enjoyed the Mount trilogy… Of course they didnβt come out fast enough for me though.
Tessa: The Mount trilogy was full of angst.
D.G.: Ruthless King!!! OMGEEEEEE! …Sexy mysterious alpha maleβ¦possibly mafiaβ¦possibly a mythβ¦possibly superhumanβ¦definitely HOT! This what the real fairytales are made of! Well done Meghan March, well done! Ladies, he is definitely a BULLY to herβ¦like do as I say or else kinda bully!
Rae: The American Queen trilogy needs to be added to this list by Sierra Simone and Thoughtless trilogy by SC Stephens
Maryse: Actually I see both series are 5 books each, but I suspect the initial 3 books are βtrilogy likeβ so I added them. π
R. Renee: Sierra Simoneβs New Camelot series did the same thing to me as The Fish Tales. I was obsessed with that series and I didnβt even think it would be for me. I only started it because I was told the writing was spectacular. By the end of the first book, I was hooked and by the end of the series, it owned me. Iβd give anything to find another series that would do that to me!
Janie:Β What a great idea! I have a few trilogy recommendations that immediately come to mind! If I sit here and think for a while, I could come up with more, but these are the ones that stick out in my mind.
*Nevernight Chronicles by Jay Kristoff (more grimdark fantasy, but does have a romance in it)
*Cousins OβDwyer by Nora Roberts (witchy and set in Ireland. Love the atmosphere of this one)
***honorable mention, but definitely not a trilogy. It actually currently has 15 or 16 books, but Iβve read them all and loved them. Itβs the Sigma Force series by James Rollins (science thrillers with all sorts of amazing scientific and historic elements. The series does have a few slow burn relationships that I loved also.)Β His standalone books are also very good.
Laura:Β
The Fish Tales by Suzanne Laqueurβloved it!
Robyn: Another series that would fit is The Fish Tales by Suanne Laqueur.
Mona: All I can say is βwowβ! I didnβt want to put it down once I got into it! The story follows Fish and Daisy, but the insight into the lifelong trauma of survivors of school shootings β¦ just wow! Thank you for mentioning this series!
Maryse: Agreed! I devoured this series. LOVED IT LIKE CRAZY! In fact, here are my reviews:
- Book Review β The Man I Love byΒ Suanne LaqueurΒ β 4.5 stars
- Book Review β Give Me Your Answer True byΒ Suanne LaqueurΒ β 4.5 stars
- Book Review β Here to Stay byΒ Suanne LaqueurΒ β 5 stars
- The Smoke Series by Sadia Ash (Juniper Smoke, Kyle and Juniper, and Finding Juniper).
Maryse: And Loving Juniper (Smoke Series Book 4) (extended epilogue)
Robyn: If you havenβt read this series it it so good… If you need more convincing take a look at the cover of Finding Juniper, Kyle the H, is swoon worthy!
Rochelle: If anyone is in a book slump this should be the cure. You have done a great job getting this list together. So many great memories and so many I want to add to my TBR. Thanks

Meagan Brandyβs – Brayshaw books. Five books. First three is one brother and the following two books are the other brothers stories. It killed me when I had to wait for each book to come out. But they are all out now. So enjoy!!!
YAY!!! Thank you Amber! I’m trying to keep this one at “trilogy” level – just 3 books, but maybe I’ll add it anyway. π
I know there is HUGE LOVE for that series here.
Anna Zaires Twist Me series
The best man series by natasha anders
Mount trilogy by Meghan March
There’s so many more but my memory fails me lol.
YESSSS!!! Thank you Shaleen! I added them. π
Hi, Maryse! One of my favorite trilogies is the All Souls Trilogy by Deborah Harkness. Paranormal with time travel.
Hi Camille!! SOOOO many loved that one! I read #1 and really enjoyed it. π Thank you!
If anyone is in a book slump this should be the cure. You have done a great job getting this list together. So many great memories and so many I want to add to my TBR. Thanks
Thank you so much Rochelle. I love making lists of “the best of the best”. Makes it easier on us later when we’re in the mood for something specific. *hug* π
The Breathing Series by Rebecca Donovan
Passion in Paradise – The Men of the McKinnon Sisters by Sarah O’Rourke
The Mackinnon’s Rangers Series by Pamela Clare
The American Queen trilogy needs to be added to this list by Sierra Simone and Thoughtless trilogy by SC Stephens
YES!!! I’m adding American Queen (although as much as I want to add Thoughtless – it’s now up to 5 books, and I’m trying to keep this in “trilogy” mode).
Actually I see both series are 5 books each, but I suspect the initial 3 books are “trilogy like” so I added them.
American Queen is an actual trilogy Maryse. The others parts go this series are characters from AQ but are more βstandaloneβ
Didnβt know thoughtless had him d to 5 books. Iβve only read the βtrilogyβ π
What a great idea! I have a few trilogy recommendations that immediately come to mind! If I sit here and think for a while, I could come up with more, but these are the ones that stick out in my mind.
*Nevernight Chronicles by Jay Kristoff (more grimdark fantasy, but does have a romance in it)

His standalone books are also very good.
YAY!! Thank you Janie! I’m adding them now. π
The Fish Tales by Suzanne Laqueurβloved it!
Sorry, Maryβs, I wanted to add two other trilogies that are among my favorites:
The Smoke Series by Sadia Ash (Juniper Smoke, Kyle and Juniper, and Juniper Smoke).
And Fish Tales by Suanne Laqueur
YES!! LOVED Fish Tales too!! I’m adding your suggestions Laura. Thank you! π
Hands down my favorite trilogy of all time is Jennifer Armentrout from blood and ash.
Hi Shara!
SOOOO many are going crazy for that series. Though I thought more books were coming out? Do you know?
