JEALOUS HEROINES REQUESTED!! The latest recommendations request, some our fellow readers want to read more jealous heroines and I do to, ’cause I always love to fume in the background with them (even if they might not be perceiving what’s making them jealous, correctly). Or especially if they are!!! GASP!
Iqra: Hi I’m looking for books where heroine see hero on a date with other women. Heroine is jealous.
Peggy: I was so happy to see you are creating a jealousy list about heroine catching hero out for dinner or or kissing or hugging other woman. That is my favorite angsty read.
Sustained by Emma Chase comes to mind and Wrecking Ball by B.N. Toler another one. Can’t wait for the list.
READER RECOMMENDATIONS:
Maryse: Holy moly, the book I’m reading now, which I’m LOVING (The Player Next Door by K.A. Tucker), has one (not evil-jealous mind you, but certainly confused as to her feelings with her neighbor next door, and boiling over – and so hurt – when she notices him flirting and making a date with a beautiful blonde). I FELT THAT SCENE HARD!!! And that whole chapter, and the one right after it. HUGE *oooooomph*!!!
Sharon: Stanton series from TL Swan!
Lisa: I am 70% and they are awesome……give me some Stanton……it has everything angst, passion, suspense, hot, hot, hot…..great series for anybody that is uncertain.
Cristina: I finished Stanton today… yes there were tears. I’m not sure what final thoughts to give about the series. It’s not an easy love story and yes there’s a taboo factor, but it’s not the center focus of the story. It’s about the journey of two people finding their way to each other through hardships, insecurities, pride, stubbornness, and outside deterrents. While I don’t mind an easy love story, I find I’m more connected to the ones that are brutal, emotional, and raw. I want to cry and scream at my kindle, and shake my head in complete bewilderment. I want the hard fight for true love. To me, it makes it more powerful and real for me.
Lisa: Cristina, I’m reading the Stanton Series now!!! I feel the same way you do!! OMG!!! Loving it!! Addicted obsessed can’t stop reading it!! My family is annoyed with me!!! 76% in, I don’t want it to end!! 5 star read for me!!! I will be finished tonight!!! Waaaa!!!!
April: I decided to give Stanton a chance. I have been one with my kindle since!!! It is book crack!! T L Swan did great… I really hope people read these books!!!
Melissa: Let Me Down by M.K. Oien is a new release riddled with angst and jealousy!
Maryse: Ohhh NEW to me!!! Excellent, thank you Melissa!!
Robin: The Avoiding Series by K.A. Linde. There’s jealousy all over those books.
Maryse: OH YES!! Loved that series! Infuriating scenes that had my blood boiling and yet impossible to put down!!!
Kelly: Tarryn Fisher’s Dirty Red
Maryse: OH YESSSSS!!!!!! 😀 That whole “Love Me With Lies” series was loaded in jealousy. TWO heroines, all sorts of jealous competition and conniving maneuvers to steal him away.
Charlene: Perfect suggestion!!!! I love that series!!!
Robin: Out of the entire series that was my least favorite book but a must read to tie everything together.
Kelly: read book 1 and 3 but I didn’t read it. Couldn’t because I disliked her so much.
Robin: that’s the exact reason I disliked the book. It’s impossible to like a book with a main character that you despise. But it does give you permission to hate Leah 100%
Off Balance series by Lucia Franco! Her jealousy over him makes her crazy at some points!
Oh yes I hear that one is super-infuriatingly jealous-angsty!!
You should add it to your TBR. It’s an amazing series and book 5 is coming on July!
Thank you so much for the books recommendation
🙂 YAY!!! We’ll continue adding to this list as we go.
