In our quest for more super-steamy “Reverse Harem” books, I found THESE reader recommendations right here on the blog! So I compiled them into a list. 😀
Fiona: Another good book by Alta Hensley & Maggie Ryan “Bride to Keep: A Dark Reverse Harem” is a reverse harem novel which I know is every second book out now; however this is a bit of a dark read about the H who is coerced to marry 4 brothers who have a notorious background in the mafia….they want to protect their sister & believe that the H is a bad influence on their baby sister so they basically kidnap her & their relationship transpires from here….a v good read as sometimes the reverse harem stories can get a bit stale… but this keeps you on your toes!
Joy: …new series, which is a reverse harem titled Branded Captive (Wren’s Song). I read that first and got hooked on Addison Cain. Then I went on to devour the others…
Tracie: Oooh, I love reverse harem. Ryann Elizabeth’s Elemental Series is my favorite though there are others I really love as well.
Nay: The only reverse harem I’ve read is Four Psychos (The Dark Side Book 1) by Kristy Cunning, which is PnR. I really enjoyed it and plan to finish the series one day.
Tessa: Wait, wait! I ADORED Four Psychos! I have been anxiously awaiting the next book. Seriously, it’s hilarious and fun, though giving a heads up, it is a reverse harem series.
Jamie: I do enjoy reverse harem books. Read and loved Jane Washington/Jaymin Eve’s Seraph Black series and Curse of the Gods series. Also The Chosen series by Stacy Jones is really good.
Tessa: …I just sent one of the best reverse harem series I’ve been reading. The first book is Trickery (Curse of the Gods Book 1) by Jaymin Eve and Jane Washington. It’s awesome. I love so much about it. I five starred that one because of the secondary being so awesome. Very few 2d characters. Also, the klutzy, and her boys. *Squees*
MichelleS: Reading Trickery (Curse of the Gods Book 1). It’s fantasy, but she’s a hoot, so I’m laughing a lot. I love clutzy, funny heroines!
Tessa: Reverse harem is one girl, multiple guys. I love them because the relationships and humor are usually fun….I love them if they are done right. …part of my picky. If they are submissive in any way, Nope! lol That’s why I like the ones I do. They are usually very dominant men and it just works. Though a few authors I love are doing it too, and it isn’t as good when some of them do it.
They have to have:
1. Dominant men only
2. Fully developed characters and believable relationships with each guy his own person. This might seem obvious, but I’ve seen some where there is no reason these guys would even be near each other let alone stand a reverse harem type situation.
3. NO FAVORITES! Because, if so, just pick your favorite and let the others have a girl who loves them. That’s just messed up to have a favorite and make the others feel like less than.
4. She has to have a personality. No Mary Sues. Ghost Bird series she started very Mary Sue but started to have an actual personality, so that was good. Though, it broke the fifth rule for me.
5. No teenagers with authority figure adults as well as teenagers. Just… NO! I’ve seen this a lot! I love him, he’s my age, but also, I love his guy who is twelve years older than me! I will have both and their best friends too! Uh… no. Pick one age.
(Number one is most important. I do not like reading ANY book with submissive males.)
Kim: Reverse Harems: I have read two and quite enjoyed them! I read “Theirs to Protect: a Reverse Harem Romace” and “Theirs to Pleasure: a Reverse Harem Romance” by Stasia Black.
Robyn: Alexa O’Brien Huntress… by Trina M Lee… I love this series so much. If you are into Vampires, wolves, Angels and twin flames this book has it all. Plus, one kickass h and all her men. It’s like a reverse harem.
Linda: I think I’ve read one where they were all brothers and all lusted over neighbor girl they grew up with. She couldn’t decide on just one so she had all 4 or 6 of them!!!! Very interesting.
sidenote from Maryse: I found 3 reverse harem books with brothers… Seven Brothers and a Virgin: A Reverse Harem Romance, or The Five Brothers Next Door, and Three Irish Brothers: A Reverse Harem Romance (Quick & Dirty Book 1)
Tasha J: I’ve read 1 harem. One with 4 hockey players, the name (again) escapes me, but I liked it!
sidenote from Maryse: I found two hockey players/reverse harem books. Maybe it’s one of these? Power Play (The Reverse Harem Diaries Book 2) or Hanna And The Hot Hockey Gods: A Reverse Harem Romance
Ela: Anyone interested in a “harem” check this series out and you won’t be disappointed if you’re a fan of PNR!
Michelle: Omigod … Spearwood Academy is totally random and I have that one on my home page to read soon since it caught my attention…we really are on some sorta twin reading wavelength lol.
Ok it’s kinda embarassing but that one snagged my attention too since it was suppose to have a harem of guys and one girl…like the Ghostbird series which we both read and I have a thing for the multiple guys and one girl as a love interest. Totally not feasible in the land of reality but I love reading about that kind of set up.
If anyone has any suggestions for more books like that, I’m always looking for more since they are not that common.
Tessa: OH! For RH lovers, Tessa Cole’s series, The Nephilim’s Destiny, is insanely good. The romance is a slower build but the characters, plot and overall arc is awesome. And each one is a “mystery” that ends in HFN with the overall storyline going through all the books.
Stacey: I love Peyton’s Path: Finding Fate Book 1 and Gifted Connections: Book 1 by SM Olivier. Now Im patiently waiting for GC5 and PP2. Would love some other recommendations in that genre!!

I forgot about Spearwood academy! *facepalms* Loved that one too.
I really enjoyed Unconventional by Rebecca Royce. There’s three books – Unconventional, Unexpected and Undeniable.
Anything by Amanda Perry, Fostering Hope or Nikki Bolvair’s Lydent or Faith series. I would say Lane Whitt but she’s not the nicest author even though her series Finding My Pack is one of the best.
RH is one of my favorite romance genres to read! Here are some of my favorites in the different romance subgenres of RH.
Paranormal: the Kit Davenport series by Tate James, Curse of the Gods series and Seraph Black series by Jane Washington/ Jaymin Eve, The Bound Spirit series by H.A. Wills, The Nora Jacobs series by Jackie May, The Lost Sentinel Series by Ivy Asher, All the Pretty Monsters Series by Kristy Cunning, and Variant Lost by Kaydence Snow
Contemporary: Sunshine and Bullets by Coralee June, Peyton’s Path by SM Oliver, Five forgotten Souls by C.M. Stunich and The Rich Boys of Burberry Prep series by C.M Stunich.
Dystopian: The Walker series by Coralee June, Their Champion series by K.A. Knight (as well as K.A. Knight’s other series), Together We Fall Series by Katie May
Anything written by Rebecca Royce is great!!!
I suggest my favorite RH, a trilogy, Hell Hounds Harem by Briana Michaels. The second trilogy is coming soon and if you want to read a new take on Lucifer, this series will be your new fav!
@Tessa Elizabeth and her dragons follows all of your rules for a good reverse harem and is what started me with my obsession of reverse harems so you might enjoy that book. It is by Ava Mason.
Laurel K. Hamilton’s Anita Blake series is HOT!
Yes! The Anita Blake series and also the ones about Merry Gentry!
Love peytons paths and ghost bird
This list is missing my favorite reverse harem series: Rock-Hard Beautiful (Groupie, Roadie and Moxie) by C. M. Stunich.
Arcane mage series by T.S Snow was really good. Also Finding my Home series by Nikita Parmenter. The authors Avery Song and Yumoyori Wilson have loads of reverse harem series and are sooooo goood. They’re absolutely indescribable, totally recommended.
All the Pretty Monsters – Same author as Four Psychos and genuinely one of my favorite series in this genre.
