Guuuuys!!! Looooook! OMG YAY! FINALLY!!! ThoughtlessΒ isΒ on Kindle!! For all of you who haven’t read this one yet, this is a MUST READ. As per me, and pretty much all of my fellow bad-boy, rock star, crazy-love-triangle-loving readers!!! Am I right? YES. I am. One of my top books. Rates up there with Beautiful Disaster, and Fifty Shades of Grey, (and while I’m at it, “Sweet Dreams“).
This love story is a disaster waiting to happen, keeping you on the edge of your seat, and boy oh boy, it doesn’t disappoint. Your heart will be torn apart, over and over again, but all the good parts are just soooo good that you’ll endure all of that heartache. Promise!
As per the author, S.C. Stephens (who literally had me *squeeeeing* and hugging my computer):
“While I was deciding between ereaders yesterday, I looked into publishing direct with Kindle. Turned out to be much easier than I thought it would be. Merry Christmas Kindle users.”
And what a Merry Christmas it will be if y’all start reading this one. No joke. You’ll become obsessed with Kellan, for sure. Makes me want to read it all over again, and the only thing that is preventing me is my need to find us more like it.
Woooot! Kellan is part of my Christmas “hunky boys who I get mad at my husband because he isn’t them” marathon! Merry Christmas to me!
Downloaded it to start tonight!
Any news on Effortless?? That still doesn’t appear to be available on Kindle.
xxx
I was so keen to read Effortless that I tracked it down on the internet and copied it, one chapter at a time into a Word document (reformatting along the way). I then converted it using the free Mobi app and finally had a Kindle-ready version π
Please don’t throw stones at me, but I was disappointed. When SC Stephens ‘does’ angst, she does it brilliantly, and when Kellan and Keira were fighting, I felt ripped apart. But overall? I think it needs a hefty dose of editing to tighten it up π
Oh man!! I’ve wanted to read this forever, so I finally downloaded it yesterday at the itunes store! So bummed, if only I waited one more day, now I will be reading it on my Ipod touch, oh well! Can’t wait to get into the story!! Love your blog, BTW!!
Sam – that is hilarious!!
Jackie, Effortless will be awhile I think, however it is still up for free to read on Fictionpress, or something of the sort, I believe. Check out my “Effortless review, I think I link directly to it.
Jane: I agree #2 was not as crazy as #1, but then again, it had it’s moment. LOL! But I liked it tons, even if it wasn’t AS amazing as Thoughtless, I honestly needed a less freaked-out story. And I was on edge, just waiting for something… you know π hehe
Rebecca – Thank you so much for coming over! Hang out all you want, and please let me know what you thought of Thoughtless.
A question for you Maryse.
I’m now ready to embark on another Big Book and want to leap into a Kirsten Ashley. Not having read any of them yet, which would you recommend as the first to go for? Big, angsty and emotional is what I’m after….. thanks π
Oh my, I’m with you Maryse, this series tops my all time fav list along with Fifty and those bad boy mountain men!
We’ve had a really good book year, haven’t we? Although I’d say it mostly really kicked into high gear this summer…
Jane, my favorite was Sweet Dreams with Tate, but I really did love the other 2 in that series as well as At Peace of the Burg series. Reading For You Now. Happy angsty reading!
Maryse –
You were soooooooooooooooooo right. Keira is really pissing me off. Loving Kellan – by far, in my humble opinion, the best ‘bad-boy-rock-star’ that you have found us so far. I startd the book last night at about midnight and put it down when the I-pad died about 5am. I’m currently 70% through and in a complete reading frenzy. i dont want to give away any spoilers here, but I need to talk about this book – big time. I’ll ‘chat’ with you later today if you are online.
Jackie – I soooo know what you mean. I wanted to hurl my Kindle across the room – several times – and give Keira a resounding SLAP!!! It’s an amazing book.
Jane! Sweet Dreams – I second Jessica’s recommendation. There are so MANY of them almost if not, equal to that one in her repertoire but that one is a GREAT initiation, and it doesn’t spoil any of the other stories, even if it’s in the middle of a series.
Maryse – we’ve had a GREAT book reading year – mainly thanks to you!
I’m loving Effortless now too ! It was funny , last night I put down the I-pad at the end of the going away party – then remembered your review – I bet thats the part where you sopped too. Like we want to protect ourselvs from all the bad that we know is coming.
Jane – if she cheats in this one – I’ll throttle her!!!!

Finally!!! I’ve been wanting to read it but waiting till it came to Kindle! Will download tonight!
Thanks for the heads up!!
