It’s that time again!! Bein’ giggly and silly with the maker of the ultimate HOTTEST uber-alpha-males so far, and dare I declare her queen of the alphas (well, the human alphas, at least)…Dare I? I do have a few other #1 alphas on my list (*ahem* you know who they are… we still squee over ’em) but so many of Kristen’s men rank high on that list, now, too. Keyword –> so many. She sure has found that magic touch that makes so many of us absolutely *swoon* while simultaneously wanting to kick ’em you know where!! Now THAT is a feat! 😉
Behind The Books
Behind the Books – Interview With Author S.C. Stephens
Here she is people!! The author of the guy that, well… pretty much made us crazy fan-girls! Kellan. *sigh* Almost like Travis. Or should I say… just like Travis? Well, at least in the “bad-boy-in-love” kind of way. Intense, emotional, and will do anything for the girl he wants, but then again… there is that “bad-boy” issue to contend with. Ahhh… who am I kidding? That’s why we read these. We love that!
So!? Do you guys want some “dirt” on what happened behind the scenes with these stories? Yeah you do!
Behind the Books – Interview With Author Jessica Park
Flat-Out Love, rocked my world. While not one of my “usual” reads (there were no rock stars or bite-y hunks), it has been another one that I’ve been trying to “match” in my book obsession. I LOVED this book!
The story had everything. Fun dialogue, laugh-out-loud moments, an intriguing story, a secret to uncover, unexpected friendships, and best of all, love. Sweet, heartwarming love. Oh! And a gasp-worthy moment that will make your jaw drop!
The perfect book. So, how lucky am I to have access to the perfect book writer?
Behind the Books – Interview With Author Jamie McGuire
You guuuuyssss!!! Looooook!! Look who’s here!! It’s Travis’s maker! Maker? Okay wait, too much vampire reading. My brain is obviously still auto-choosing words out of the paranormal repertoire. Since Travis is “pretend-human”, and Jamie is “human-human”, I guess “maker” isn’t quite the right word. 😕
But look how lucky we are Lily!?! *Lily is bouncing in her chair*
We can ask all of the crazy obsessive fan-girl Travis questions we want. She’s here to answer them. *Squeeeee*
Fun Facts About Beautiful Disaster – One of My Favorite Books Ever!
I have an upcoming interview scheduled with the author of Beautiful Disaster (Jamie McGuire), but thought I’d compile a bunch of cool facts I’ve found regarding this book. Jamie speaks candidly on her Facebook pages, and has divulged some very interesting stuff!
So to hold us over until the interview, here’s a little treat for all of you Travis and Abby fanatics. A deeper look into this fantastic book that kept us up all night 😉
- Beautiful Disaster is not a Young Adult novel (rated mature, and is for ages 17+).
- “…this book was never meant to be published. It was just supposed to be “for fun” to stretch my writing wings a bit with a more mature piece. My fans have completely embraced it and I am thrilled!”
- As per a recent Facebook post, she used the names of some of her college friends for a few of her characters (highlighting America, Finch, Brazil, Shep).
- Jamie points out that the book originally had a different title:
“Fun Fact: Beautiful Disaster was written under the working title “Red Flag”, which later became the name of the first chapter.”
