<—Β I fell in LOVE with this book way back in 2011, when I first discovered the wonderful world of indie “new adult” romance. In fact, I read this one just days after my love affair with Travis, and while Travis was (and will forever be) my #1, I five-star loved this one, too! It’s SO good, so well written, so witty and the romantic tension is sweetly intense. And then… the twist!! *oomph!!!!* I spent another few days in a silly-sweet love haze after it, and this became one of my “Maryse Indie Classic Favorites”. π Just check out my review and you’ll see! I’m assuming all of us have read this one by now, but if you haven’t, it’s a MUST READ!!! And now, we have TWO more books (Matt’s & Celeste’s) to enjoy!

Book Review – Left Drowning by Jessica Park
Left Drowning
<—- This book. THIS BOOOOOOOK!!!! I am on a 5-star roll lately, and this just got added to the bunch! I just had a chat with Autumn (one of my book buddies)Β and we couldn’t stop raving together. I pretty much reviewed the book “at her”. She pulled out all of the BEST quotes, and I swear, this book touched me… (us) deeply.
I fell in love, and I got to experienceΒ alllllll that went along with that. The fun “beginning”, the getting to know the entourage, that friend/family feel <— one of the BEST parts of this book.
Behind the Books – Interview With Author Jessica Park
Flat-Out Love, rocked my world. While not one of my “usual” reads (there were no rock stars or bite-y hunks), it has been another one that I’ve been trying to “match” in my book obsession. I LOVED this book!

The story had everything. Fun dialogue, laugh-out-loud moments, an intriguing story, a secret to uncover, unexpected friendships, and best of all, love. Sweet, heartwarming love. Oh! And a gasp-worthy moment that will make your jaw drop!
The perfect book. So, how lucky am I to have access to the perfect book writer?
Book Review – Flat-Out Love by Jessica Park
Flat-Out Love
Flat-out LOVED IT!!Β This weekend, I went looking for another Travis or Brian devastating whirlwind of a bad boy book, but I found this instead. This is not my typical read. NoΒ paranormals, noΒ bad boys, no rock stars but plenty of love.Β And the reviews had me intrigued.

Many reviews, almost all 5-stars, and the last time I “accidentally” happened upon a book that way, I found Travis, who rocked my world. So I was all for it. It’s kind of like finding the “independent movie” section andΒ discovering aΒ whole bunch of obscure movie treasures. I’ve uncovered a whole new world of relatively new, independent stuff, and I feel refreshed!
