Fate’s Mistake by Brandace Morrow. <— BLAST FROM OUR BOOK PAST!! Scoti sent me this recommendation wayyyyy back when, and I totally missed it & it sounds PERFECT for us. Anyway, better late than never right? Especially when she said GO IN BLIND. <— That is book catnip to me!

I was thinking of telling you about a book that I repurchased recently because it was released as an ebook but had been written years ago which is when I read it.  It’s called “Mirror Image” by Sandra Brown and I think you would really enjoy it.

Not sure if you’ve heard of or read Sandra Brown’s books but she started out as a Harlequin writer and her original stuff (I think back in the 80’s….) were mainly romance but then she started incorporating mystery to her books and it really brought a “hard to put down” edge to her writing. read more

Innocents (Dusty Book 1) by Mary Elizabeth & Sarah Elizabeth <— BLAST FROM OUR BOOK PAST ALERT!! This recommendation came on strong and HARD and it was for a hugely popular fan fiction that eventually became a HUGELY popular book. It was all anyone was talking about in our indie world, and it’s so fun to have found this old recommendation from back when it was still in its infancy.

Amy: …how exciting for the authors to start off writing their stories as fanfic and then to have them published! All I know is that I’m going to be reading Dusty *very* soon after reading the reactions to it. 😀 read more
