Today's Twit-Bits

 While I catch us up on some upcoming book releases, let’s check out what we should look forward to in the near future 🙂

• Some authors are writing and feeling a bit of stress – Lilith Saintcrow is requiring chocolate, and Lauren Dane is tinkering on a scene until she gets it right.
• Michelle Rowen hints that the cover for the Primal anthology is “delicious”
• Caitlin Kittredge is working on novella edits and then she’ll be back on to her YA work.
• Melissa Marr is in the last “tweaks” of Mercy and will be starting a new project in a couple of weeks. She also tweets:

I left off last nite w one of my beloved characters all sorts of injured. What was I thinking? SUCH a dismal way to start today’s work 🙁

• Christina Dodd’s tweets: “I’m casting the actors to play heroes in Darkness Chosen”. Her actor choice to play “Adrik” from Into the Shadow (Darkness Chosen, Book 3) is Gerard Butler! And her choice for Konstantine, the loving patriarch of the Wilder family would be  Russell Crowe! She tweets:

• Also! Christina Dodd’s Chains of Ice: The Chosen Ones will be released in less than three weeks (July 6th)!
• Jeaniene Frost posted a new blog! She also saw the cover of This Side of the Grave: A Night Huntress Novel but it is still in the works so not public yet! ANOTHER DON’T FORGET!! You know we’re all dying for this one Eternal Kiss of Darkness (Night Huntress World, Book 2) (coming out July 27th 2010). Is THAT Mencheres??!! I’m alright with that…LOL!
• Yasmine Galenorn is currently writing ICE SHARDS.
• Alyson Noel tweets: “Just turned in the revision 4 SHIMMER (Riley book #2) which means it is time to begin writing the 6th & final IMMORTALS book!!” She is also currently book touring and will be in Dallas next week. Here is her tour schedule.
• Jeri Smith-Ready is working on a short story for an anthology (due this summer) and it will be WVMP related.
• Moira Rogers blogs about FREE copies of Cry Sanctuary! (Kindle and Nook format – sadly not yet free in Sony Ebook format)…

Wow it’s been so long I haven’t made an “Author Twit-Bits”, that even I don’t know what’s going on with them. I think my multi-tasking abilities are suddenly lacking!

Well, no better time then the present, as they say:

• Melissa Marr’s release date for (Graveminder) is being changed (sometime July 2011) because’s of Mercy’s release date (Feb 22nd). She says

” Both bks releasing at once wd b 2 much madness”

• Shiloh Walker is working on something for July (and tempted us with a few quick lines from it).
• Laurell K Hamilton is happy. Bullet (Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter) is #5 on the Sunday Times in the UK.
• Gabreille Faust has a 1000 words so far completed for “Bloodlines”.
• Rachel Vincent corrects readers on the order of her “Soul Screamers” series.

“For those who’ve asked, MSTKeep is the 3rd Soul Screamers novel, not the 4th. Because MSTLose was just a novella prequel. Not a novel.”

• Rachel Vincent also teases us that she’s seen the My Soul To Steal cover and we haven’t and it’s NOT like the others).
• Marjorie M Liu reminds us of the RWA event. HUGE book signing on Wednesdat July 28th from 5:30 to 7:30pm at the Walt Disney Dolphin Resort in Orlando, Florida. Who’s gonna be there? Yah you got it! ME!!!!!! It’s gonna be an early work day! Sheeesh…maybe I’ll just take the whole day off (i’ll be wayyyy to excited to work).
• Alysson Noel is emailing out Damen’s story (Eternal Flame) buuutttt! You had to (or maybe still can) subscribe at https://www.immortalsseries.com to be a part of it.
• Michelle Rowan is starting her next book mid-July so, in the meantime, she is brainstorming on two new ideas (one on vampires – yes!!, one on cupcakes – DOUBLE YES!!!).
