Reader Question – The arranged marriage book where the main male character locks her in a drain system and she almost dies…

By Leave a Comment

Rin needs our book help! Eeeeep! This one sounds quiet dark just in that subject alone.

She asks:

Hi,

I am hoping you can help me find a book.  It is a arranged/forced marriage book. I think mafia.

The female main character shoots one of her guards/household staff to escape and the male main character locks her in like a drain system/sewer system with rats etc.

She is accidentally/on purpose left there by the staff and almost dies.

That is all I can remember right this minute.

Thanks for your help. read more

VD needs our book help! I’ve had this question before, I’m sure of it. Sounds almost like a Kristen Ashley type of book, but now I need to backtrack and find the original question. But in the meantime, here it is again for us to guess. 😉

She asks:

I’m looking for a book where the female lead ran away from home because her father was going to force her into a marriage she absolutely didn’t want to be in.

And then she ends up at the Male lead MC where they accept her and she always likes to bake so she always bakes every morning and the entire clubhouse is obsessed with her peanut butter chocolate chip cookies. read more

Reader Question – The book where she’s an artist and poor & finds a man slumped by the entrance to a building and they have a one time thing…

Marian is looking for this one! One of my favorite tropes. Homeless or broke and the rich man that she falls for… er… but.. why was he slumped over? I’m so curious!!

She asks:

Trying to remember a book I read years ago.

The girl is an artist and poor.

She finds a man slumped by the entrance to a building and they have a one time thing, He is young and rich. He finds her and then looses her. His father or uncle lies to her about him.

This is a 3 or 4 book book series. Setting is New York City. read more

Reader Question – The book where they are traveling together, and she tells him she’s pregnant, and he leaves her…

Maggie is looking for this one! I’ve read a few like this where she raises the baby without him and he comes back and I love them, because they rip my heart out at first.

She asks:

Hi!

I heard you find missing books! I was hoping you could help me.

I’m looking for a romance contemporary book where the hero and heroine work together and somehow are also together (don’t remember if they are just sleeping or married) and the are in a hotel room packing to go somewhere for work and she tells the hero that she’s pregnant and wants to slow down in which case the hero ends up leaving (I don’t remember if he believes it’s his or simple leaves). read more
