February 6, 2020 By Maryse 8 Comments

Beth is looking for this one! Short and sweet but just enough detail that I’m sure it will spark memory.

She asks:

Hey guys 🙂

I’m looking for a book I read a while ago, can’t remember it but I think a sequel was in the works.

It was about a female archaeologist hired to investigate the Donner party tragedy and where some gold was hidden by a faction of people who left the main camp.

People start being killed off, murder mystery book.

Thanks for the help x

Anyone know which one she’s looking for?

Reader Question… Solved! The book about the open relationship and her trysts in the dark with a street racer…

Alex is looking for this one! Oooooooh slightly scandalous and totally titillating!!! What an arrangement. 😉 Okay so…

She asks:

Hi Maryse,

I was hoping you could help me identify a book that I read a few years ago. It ended on a cliffhanger and I’d love to be able to remember the title and author so I could at last read what happens next.

The opening scene is of a woman walking in on her male best friend (who is also her “boyfriend/fiance/or husband” – can’t remember) in an intimate act with another man. They have a pact to have an open relationship/marriage since he’s gay and she’s straight. read more

Ania is looking for this book. Oooooh I love office romance books… all that chemistry and that pull, and the drama when things go awry!! 😉 Eeeeeep! The one that popped into my head is Mister McHottie but how she originally knows him is not quite the same as this one…

She asks:

Please help me – I can’t remember the name of the book.

I’ve done all the googling a person can do without going mad x

Office romance.

Dumped by her fiance, she met a new guy online. They have arranged a meeting for the very first time – and had sexual encounter in the pub/restaurants restroom. Now this guy turned out to be her new colleague/ project partner in the advertising/or publishing agency. read more

Reader Question… Solved! The college romance book set in Australia with a tall & thin heroine & a hero that doesn’t talk much.

February 6, 2020 By Maryse 6 Comments

Cat is looking for this one! Sounds like a fun one (I love the part about the hero)… 😉 but I haven’t read it. Have you?

She asks:

I’m looking for a book, if anyone could help.

It’s college romance, in Australia, the heroine is tall and very thin, hero doesn’t talk much. Heroine isn’t a virgin, her ex treated her bad, made her feel like she’s not sexy or something of that sort.

At one point there’s a hot scene where the heroine tries to be creative, she uses honey, not sure how. read more
