Another “Guess the Book” question for today, and this one sounds kind of scary!! Like a psych-thriller and now I must know it!

Book question….cannot remember the name is the book…it goes something like this…
a girl is trying to escape from her ex who is a cop. She leaves him and he files a missing person report but she comes back. She does this a few times so that when she finally leaves him, he will not be able to report her missing because he will look bad at his precinct.
Oh YAY!!!! I know this one and it’s from one of my favorite authors and it’s one of her latest. *squee* I love when I can answer them, myself!

I’ve been following your blog for a while and I’m pretty sure it was on here that I saw a recommendation for a book I’m now trying to find. I’d love to read the book again but can not for the life of me remember what it was called.
From what I remember it started with a young woman meeting her dad in a restaurant discussing her career. She was an actress but couldn’t get much work anymore because of some scarring from an accident a few years before. They were arguing and a random guy in the booth behind came to her rescue pretending to be her boyfriend. They hit it off and decided to meet up again each year for 5 years I think (she was moving across the country the next day and had vowed to not have a boyfriend until she was a certain age).
Reader Question day!! And I have a few for us all ready to guess.
Okay this one says something to me!! I know I read that blurb maybe a couple of weeks ago or so (and added it to one of my weekly lists here), but my mind is drawing a blank. But! Maybe one of you knows?

Can you help me remember the title of this book? Guy comes back with the girl’s room mate at college and sleeps with her (girl can hear them going for it) – when he meets the girl afterwards he wants her.
Ohhh this one sounds like something I would definitely want on my TBR list, and yet I’m not sure what it is. Grace saw mention of it and wants to read it but forgot to add it, too.
Was it a new release that I highlighted, or a bargain find or a recommendation? Gah! I’ll do a search to see if I can find it, but maybe somebody here already knows?

Months ago i noticed this book on your site.
It’s about a married woman being abused by her spouse. An old male friend of hers rescues her. I believe they once dated.
Happy Reader Question day and I’ve already got one for us!!! It sounds pretty heartbreaking, and right up our tear-jerker alley, the hero sounds like the ultimate sweet book boyfriend and now, I too, MUST know what this book is.
