Carole needs our help finding this book title. And while I’m a sucker for books about abused women that find their freedom, I don’t remember this one…

…was wondering if I could get a little help. I read a book not very long ago but can’t remember the name.

I do know the the female in the book had a best friend that had a child and the best friend’s husband drinks a lot and in one part she is at their home and stands up to the husband and her boyfriend finds her in the home along with his friend. read more

In the beginning scene a girl is walking in an alley way and then shadows attack her or something and then she wakes up in the hospital not remembering much and there’s a boy in the hospital telling her things but he’s hiding from her family ?
