Following my heart, one book at a time...
Jennifer has a question, and IMMEDIATELY I knew which book she was asking about. Not ’cause I’ve read it yet… NOPE.
But because that blurb HAD ME GOOOOOOD!! I must read this. Have you read this?
Jennifer asks:
I am looking for a book about a young king who apparently keeps taking new wives but for some reason they are all killed before sunrise. A girl volunteers to be his wife with the intention of killing him for murdering his best friend.
Got it!!! I know it!! I know which one!!! 😀
And I have another reader question!! Samantha only remembers the blurb, but wants to read this one, so maybe someone here knows?
Samantha asks:
“I need your help! I’m looking for a book only have blurb,
what I can remember, girl from USA travels to Ireland, don’t know why, gets picked up at airport by guy, but she refuses his help and gets her own transport when she gets to where she’s staying she can’t believe he’s already there, thinks he’s a racing car driver, she’s bold and brassy?
Happy Reader Question Thursday! I have a few already in the queue!!! Maybe you guys can help me with this one? So far we have quite a few guesses from our Facebook crew (each one, a different book!! 😀 ), but no confirmation yet. Anyone else wanna venture a guess?
“Maryse, a few years ago I read, what I believed to be the first novel in a series, about a young girl in the US and her friendship with a guy (I think was British but not a definite).
She was younger than him but they were friends and he was in a band that was beginning to become popular.
DARK READ ALERT! Casey is looking for one and Oh WOW this one sounds dark… and while I do love dark reads, this one doesn’t sound familiar at all. So maybe someone here knows?
She asks:
“Hi Maryse! My friend and I are looking for a book she read a few years ago. She can’t remember who the author was or the name of it. She said it was so good and now she has me wanting to read it. Can you possibly help?
She remembers this about it. They guy and girl went to high school together, her boyfriend at the time tricked him and attacked him and his sister badly. The main girl has no clue and many years later he comes back to get revenge on her. He is super rich now.
Oh YAY!!! Wedding drama, or at least… that’s how it starts, and Lindsee wants to read this one, but doesn’t remember the title.
She asks:
“Maryse! I’m hoping you can help me. I read a preview of a 1st chapter to this book but I can’t remember what the title or author is.
The guy is packing his suitcase up getting ready to leave his hotel when he gets a call from his brother. His ex girlfriend is getting married and he’s trying to convince him to step in and take her back the guy gets mad hangs up.
