You guys were SO quick with that last one, maybe we can knock a couple more! This poor girl lost her book, mid-way through and has no idea which one it is anymore, so she can’t finish it. Eeeep!

Oh wait. *facepalm* I KNOW this one!!!!!!! LOL it’s one of my favorite books in the world. Why didn’t I get it the first time I looked at it? I must have been a book zombie when I was checking out these emails… I’m so sorry Sandy. 😉

I was reading a book and it just disappeared from my kindle! I was 50% through it and im devastated that i cannot find it…cant remember the name. It’s about a man named Joe Callahan a specialist in security systems and a woman named violet. Her husband was a cop and was killed. They were neighbors. Who wants to play guess the book with me? ‘Cause I have a few questions that have come my way over the last week or so, and maybe someone out there can help? This one sounds a tiny bit like a book I’ve read (A Modern Love Story by Jolyn Palliata), but the details here really aren’t the same…

I have a book somewhere on my Kindle. I know what it’s about, but for the life of me can’t remember the title, the author or even any of the characters names!!! And I really want to read it again. Here’s what I can remember. He sees her for the first time at a bar. I think he may own it. She is there to watch a band, and at one point she is sitting on a huge speaker. He sees the tattoo on her back and instantly recognizes it. Asks her what her name is. It turns out they were the best of friends when they were children, but bad circumstances with his parents forced him into foster care. I think that one parent murdered the other one, and I *think* it may have been in front of them. If I remember correctly, her parents wanted to adopt him but then a misunderstanding made them as him to stay away from her. This is all driving me nuts!!!! If you could offer any help, I would really appreciate it!! read more

OMG AMY! I was just searching for more reader questions for our “Guess the Book” fun, and I just found your question. I must have still been getting over Book Bash (I swear I went into a weird “author/book-fun coma after that), so I missed a few emails. Like this one.

We had great success with today’s first reader question/guess the book post, so I’ve found us another!

Actually, this one does sound familiar, but the description provided (“party girl/hot guy turns her down” theme) has actually shown up in a few books, so I’m having a hard-time pinning down the actual one that matches this description.
