By 2 Comments

<— This one sounds kind of like an office romance with a hot CEO! And book #3 in this series will be out in just a couple of weeks!

Nicole:  I love this series so far!! Her With Me series is also The Bomb Dot Com!!

Rochelle: Great series! I can’t wait for the next one.

Ker Dukey & D.H Sidebottom – Deception Series Reading Order

By 2 Comments

Scary dark series alert!!!

Kimmie: Maryse have you read the Deception Series by D.H. Sidebottom & Ker Dukey. Finished Facade at 3 in the morning and OMG. Dark Total WTH headtrip. So good. Reading Cadence.

Tessa: Ker Dukey is a twisted author.

MichelleS: …finished FaCade. So here’s the deal: it ends with a cliffhanger… dang it… and I did NOT see that coming at all. so that’s good – it surprised me. It was dark, though… and there’s one scene that is just… well… disturbing… but we’ve all read Captive in the Dark and Mud Vein and Tied Man and Bad Things… so we can handle it. I am giving book one 4.5 stars because it was riveting, but I didn’t get attached to anyone, you know? I’m waffling on the 4.5 stars….. but will read book two because now that I know, I’ve got to see how it plays out. read more

R.S Grey – The Allure Series Reading Order

By 3 Comments

Described by Cheryl as a “Light, fun read.”

Tasha: I immediately jumped into The Allure Of Julian Lefray by R.S Grey. I’ve read a cpl of her books and loved both of them. Of course the sample really sucked me in, it was laugh out loud funny and I couldn’t stop grinning. So I held my finger above the one click thinking should I or shouldn’t I? I felt guilty buying another so soon, but thought I should indulge myself, I deserve it! Lol, it’s a viscous cycle. Then I saw the video the author made on her Facebook page and it sealed the deal. I’m so glad I did, I had a perma-smile throughout! 5 stars, absolutely adored it! Sorry for the long rambling post, but it feels good to tell someone how much I liked them! read more

Lauren Layne – Redemption Series Reading Order

By 3 Comments

Monique is LOVING this author BIG TIME!! Look what she just said:

“Lauren Layne! Maryse, I’m pretty sure she is an angel that has been sent to please us! First, her book Blurred Lines (totally 5 stars) now I’m reading Broken, which is breaking into 6 star territory! Where has she been all my life?!”

About book #1:

When Olivia Middleton abandons the glamour of Park Avenue for a remote, coastal town in Maine, everyone assumes she’s being the kind do-gooder she’s always been. But Olivia has a secret: helping an injured war veteran reenter society isn’t about charity—it’s about penance. Only, Olivia’s client isn’t the grateful elderly man she’s expecting. Instead, he’s a brooding twenty-four-year-old who has no intention of being Olivia’s path to redemption . . . and whose smoldering gaze and forbidden touch might be her undoing. read more

Isabelle Richards – Love/Hate Series Reading Order

<— Excellent twists and angst alert!! and Kristy LOVES it.

Kristy: Hey Maryse! Just finished Love To Hate You by Isabelle Richard, it’s the sequel to Hate to Love You. It was excellent… how excellent? Well I was wide awake after finishing and stared at my wall for an hour running through the whole book while some random movie I had put on played in the back ground. I loved book one as well but had a major cliff hanger that somehow I didnt see coming even though it was so obvious. As I was reading book 2 I was shocked and disappointed with how quickly things were resolved… should’ve known better. Excellent twists and angst. So so good. 4.5 stars for both. …  no cliffy at the end of book two but there is a novella coming out in december I believe read more
