SATURDAY BREAKING NEWS UPDATE!!! SUSAN FANETTI’S LATEST BIKER BOOK IS LIVE ALERT!!!!!! Crash (The Brazen Bulls MC Book 1) ➔➔➔➔➔➔➔
She usually locks herself away to keep herself safe, but one day, she literally crashes into this biker…
“Willa Randall is making a new life in Tulsa, working hard to put a demolished past in her rearview mirror. Trying to keep herself safe, she’s built a life insulated by locks and walls. Inside those walls, she’s alone, but she feels secure, and that’s enough.
Until a big, tattooed biker holds out his hand and helps her up from the pavement…”
THIS LIST IS LOADED IN AWESOMENESS… seriously… it’s rich in reading for sure. And I’m still adding to it. I also just finished a psych-thriller that I one-clicked a few months ago that I’ll be reviewing today, too. It was recently featured in a reader question post, and when we found it, I brought it back up my TBR list. I’ll let you know what I think in just a few…
Oh AND!!! The December “Kindle First” choices are up!!! I went with Sisters One, Two, Three
Molli: I just picked same one
Melissa: I decided to go with Hope’s Peak
Robin: I went with The Missing. If I can’t get romance, I’ll go with anti-romance 😉
Teri: That sounds really good. I’m a late seventies child and I can totally relate.
Now… take a look at what we found! (NOTE: some are bargain priced when I added them, but prices can change on Amazon, so make sure to check before you finalize your order. Sales listed are for Amazon U.S., however some of the Amazon UK links also reflect the sale!):
- Home Tears by Tijan <— TIJAN’S LATEST RELEASE ALERT!!!! SHE HAD A ROUGH CHILDHOOD… “…she left for ten years. But now she’s back, and nothing’s the same. With help from Jonah Bannon, a reformed—kind of—bad boy she remembers from high school, Dani uncovers family secrets that have spanned generations. And along with those, she’s about to face the biggest sh*t storm of her life…“
- From Sand and Ash by Amy Harmon <— AMY HARMON’S LATEST IS LIVE!!!! OH WOW THIS SOUNDS AMAZING!!!! Heart wrenching and scary, and potentially beautiful… She’s Jewish and he’s Catholic and they grew up together and fell in love… but he became a priest. And then the war brought them back together in the most difficult circumstances… “…With the Gestapo closing in, Angelo hides Eva within the walls of a convent, where Eva discovers she is just one of many Jews being sheltered by the Catholic Church. But Eva can’t quietly hide, waiting for deliverance, while Angelo risks everything to keep her safe. With the world at war and so many in need, Angelo and Eva face trial after trial, choice after agonizing choice, until fate and fortune finally collide, leaving them with the most difficult decision of all.“
Jennifer: Wow. One clicked!!!!
Nancy: I’ve read ALL her books and pre-ordered this one!!
Irene: It’s fantastic, I had the opportunity to read it on Kindle First. 5 stars.
- Rusty Nail (The Uncertain Saints MC Book 6) by Lani Lynn Vale <— LIVE!!! “Raven has made some bad decisions, and she’d give anything to go back in time and choose a different path. The reality is that she can’t go back, and the day Wolf walks into her life, she finally realizes that maybe she doesn’t want to. Wolf is everything she’s ever wanted, and the exact opposite of what she needs…“
- One Hot December (Men at Work) by Tiffany Reisz <— LIVE!!! TIFFANY REISZ ALERT!! She has a sexy boss that dumped her… “Welder and artist Veronica “Flash” Redding’s playful sense of evil sometimes gets the better of her. Like when her insanely handsome, wealthy, suited-up boss gave her the most sensuously wicked night of her life…then dumped her. Yep, revenge is a dish best served hot. “
- Downed: A Novel (Gridiron Book 3) by Jen Frederick <— LIVE FOOTBALL STAR!!! HE’S THE GUY NOONE LIKES and she’s the girl everyone loves!! (and here’s the series reading order, although I believe each one can be read as a standalone)
- Letters Written in White by Kathryn Perez <— BLURB JOLT ALERT!!!!! She’s… dead. “Days ago, I met with death face to face. The mirror, our meeting place. My two darkened green eyes stared deeply into hers. I tilted my head to the side. She did too. “It’s time,” I whispered. “It’s time,” she whispered. And with that I turned away from her, the woman in the mirror who knew all of my secrets and all of my pain. I walked away from her and yet we’d never been closer than we were at that moment. The inner struggle was over...”
Milissa: Ok ladies letters written in white had me balling like crazy. And it takes a lot to do that.
Angie: I have shared Letters Written in White and It Ends with Us. I will always hold those two books near and dear to my heart.
- The Other C-Word (In Other Words Book 1) by MK Schiller <— COMMITMENT!!!!! *gasp* 😉 This one is super-bargain priced and that title sure got my attention *snort* “Marley Mason is dreading the arrival of the new business consultant. After all, this man will most likely outsource her job to China. The last thing she would expect is a case of mistaken identity, leading to false accusations of kidnapping when she attempts to pick up the wrong man at the airport, or worse…that she would have such a visceral reaction to the right man…”
- An Exaltation of Larks by Suanne Laqueur <— MY LATEST 5-STAR FAVORITE (super-oooooomph and risqué and sexy and awesome) and Nancy just found out it’s on sale right now. Not a HUGE markdown but definitely a great price for this one!
Maryse: My November favorite was easily Exaltation of Larks.
Nay: My favorite for November was also An Exaltation of Larks. NO question.
Cheryl: Just popping in while taking a quick break from the Larks. I am LOVING this book. It’s so beautifully written and I’m slowly eating every bit up like a big bowl of pudding. “Desire pooled thick like pudding in her chest, sweet along the back of her throat.” And oh yeh, the name, is it only obvious to the reader?! Waiting for that shoe to fall, along with the BIG fall.
Nay: …And when Maryse said delightfully risque’, I thought I knew what she meant, but no–I had zero clue at that point! LOVE it!
- Making Over Maris (Wired Series Book 3) by Sabrina York <— LIVE!!! SHE’S GOING TO HELP MAKE OVER HER NERDY GUY FRIEND... 😉 “When über-nerd Jack asks Sara to make him more attractive to women, she can’t say no–even though it’s an impossible task. He’s shaggy and doughy and hopelessly inappropriate. He has no style or emotional intelligence but he’s a good person. And a great friend…“
- A Veil of Vines by Tillie Cole <— TILLIE COLE ALERT! PRE-ARRANGED MARRIAGE... and then she meets him. And Kelly LOVED it!
Kelly: Maryse, I am reading Tillie Cole’s The Veil of Vines and it is SOOOOO good. I’m halfway through and if it continues to be as good it will definitely be in my top 5 of the year.
- Destiny on Ice (Boys of Winter Book 1) by R.S. Grey <— LIVE!! HOCKEY STAR ALERT! HE LOST HIS HOCKEY-STAR MOJO… “…Brent has the talent and skill that should have his career soaring. But something is wrong. He’s lost his hockey mojo and can’t get it back. Enter Aubrey Shelburne, life coach to the stars. Aubrey’s worked with some difficult celebrities, but she’s never encountered a guy quite like Brent Oliver…“
- Chase (Hell’s Exiles MC Book 1) by Sassie Lewis <— LIVE!!! BIKE BOOK ALERT!
- Fangirl: A Novel by Rainbow Rowell <— THE UNDERLING SISTER FINDING INDEPENDENCE IN COLLEGE ALERT! And MichelleS LOVED it!
MichelleS: 4.5 stars for this one too. Love her writing. Wanted MORE at the end, just like with all her books. They creep along and I get sucked in, and then BAM, it’s over. and I’m not ready for it to be over. So Glad I read Carry On BEFORE Fangirl though, or else that would have been spoiled spoiled spoiled.
- Breathing Black (The Black and White Duet Book 1) by Piper Payne <— EMOTIONAL THRILLER ALERT!! This one came across my way when I noticed that the conclusion of the duet was just released!!! I didn’t want to read its blurb because this just looks so good, so I immediately looked for book #1. This one! “a provocative tale that challenges what one is willing to do to protect the ones they love. An emotional journey where trust isn’t an option and falling in love never hurt so bad…”
- White Lies (The Black and White Duet Book 2) by Piper Payne <— LIVE!!! AND HERE IS THE CONCLUSION!!!!
- The Lullaby Sky by Carolyn Brown <— SHE’S FINALLY DIVORCED FROM HER ABUSIVE EX… “Hannah begins turning her home into a safe house for other women who’ve endured the pain she’s known. But even as life and laughter return to Hannah’s home, she’s haunted by the memory of her dangerously unstable ex. With a second chance at love on the horizon, Hannah must face down her past in order to let the sunshine back into her life.” It’s super-bargain priced today!
- Kick, Push & Coast Duet: Includes Kick, Push and Coast by Jay McLean <— ANGSTY ROMANCE SERIES BUNDLE SUPER-BARGAIN ALERT!! Lauren found it for us!
Kelli: This book is amazing. If you are looking for a unique love story that will basically have you feeling every emotion you have at it’s highest level…this is your book. Single teen dad. But not a teen romance. I can’t even put into words how special this book is. Kick Push. Josh Warden. It is my top read of the year for sure! Hands down!
Jean: For those of you who haven’t read Kick Push by Jay McLean… Loved that book.. …It kinda had that SoT feel, or maybe Reason to Breathe by Rebecca Donovan. Is so good!
Tessa: Oh finally read Jay McLean’s Kick Push. …All I gotta say is that Coast better do some mending big time!
- ‘ll Give You the Sun by Jandy Nelson <— ONCE INSEPARABLE TWINS but “…Years later, they are barely speaking. Something has happened to change the twins in different yet equally devastating ways . . . but then Jude meets an intriguing, irresistible boy and a mysterious new mentor. The early years are Noah’s to tell; the later years are Jude’s. But they each have only half the story…” OOooooooh this one sounds SO GOOD and bev found out it’s on super-sale right now!!
Marina: Incredibly awesome. I read it first in 2014 and then reread in 2015 because it was my bookclub choice. It is EXQUISITE. The writing is poetry. Her descriptions are unlike anything I’ve ever read. And the story/storylines were just beautiful. I’m not sure why this book resonates with me so much but it just does. It is not only a 2015 fave for me but up there as an all-time fave.
KM: I’m the kind of person who usually hogs books and goes, “but it’s mine,” but I shared Jandy Nelson’s I’ll Give You the Sun with my best friend. The plot was so enthralling, and the characters had intriguing voices.
bev: I’ll Give You The Sun is really good

Maryse since I’m the first comment, at 100!, does that mean you have to read one of my recs?
Right?
Can it be… “I’ll Give You The Sun”???
Maryse Rules Of Contact, Jaci Burton’s latest in the Play-By-Play series, is coming out on Dec 6th.
Starting From Sand and Ash! I preordered it! Love this author!
Also 1-clicked I’ll Give You The Sun!
I am completely overwhelmed by my TBR right now…..sigh
Jean, I’ll split the cost of an assistant with you. She can read half the books we have lined up and summarize them to us including all the feels and tears and laughs.
Thank you Jan!!! I’m adding it!
Haha Fabi! I would love a month with just no work or interruptions! Just been so busy with everything lately!
I guess. It is a good book probably technically better than The Sky is Everwhere though that one I have a soft spot for.
Hey ladies! Started reading Veil of Vines and just got to say that I LOVE Tillie Cole! Yes, LOVE her books! She definitely does not disappoint!!!! Now back to VoV!
Read Breathing Black last year and couldn’t put it down. Currently reading White Lies and it’s great! Highly suggest this series!
Thank you Ellen… it’s a subtle and simultaneously intense blurb (I have NO idea what it’s about), so I’m so intrigued!!!
Ok, I just finished Our Chemical Hearts by Krystal Sutherland and oh my goodness, I LOVED it!!! I’m pretty sure it’s a “Bev” book. I think I saw on goodreads you had it marked as to-read, Bev, so I say read it please!! Of course I love John Green’s work also, and it did totally have that feel. It’s entirely in Henry’s point of view and I know that’s a turn off for you Amy, but I bet even you would like it! And he’s got the two awesome, quirky, funny, have your back best friends. And his love interest, Grace is a complete hot mess, that’s all I’ll say on that. But, there’s also angst, and heartbreak, and mystery, and beauty so it had all the feels and for me, the ending was perfect!
Yay Tasha!!!
*runs to look that book up again*
Veil of Vines…done. 5 starring this one! Tillie Cole knows how to write a awesome strong silent type. Achille is the ultimate strong, silent SWOON worthy guy. LOVE the split aparts!
I’ve been in a hash tag series binge. I’m already on #5. I did grab Home Tears. 😀 I can’t resist a Tijan book.
Hi ladies!!!
I started Veil of Vines and will be going back to it soon (because how can I not with that blurb??) but I need to finish When We Collided first.
bev…you read that one, right? I’m REALLY liking it so far. 😀
You guys!!!!!
I’m reading “Whitney, My Love” and I’m loving it. I’m only 25% in but holy moly it’s over 700 pages long so, I think that’s a nice chunk. She’s such a BRAT!!! BUT I am LOVING IT. Slow burn/triangly indeed.
Sisters One, Two, Three is what I went with as well!! There were a couple of others that I may end up buying as well, but THAT one stood out to me the most.
From Sand and Ash, Letters Written in White, Kick Push/Coast bundle, Breathing Black/White Lies…clickity click click! And I forgot I had clicked I’ll Give You the Sun, so thanks for the reminder to move it up on my list. 😉
Maryse, that seems to be book 2 in the series. I just finished book 1 last week and FLOVED it. They don’t seem to be serial books though. Only related by descendants.
It’s a classic. I had so much fun discovering those books, all those historicals, just wish I had this group to chat with. Of course I was too young to be here then, lol.
Maryse, you should consider finishing your end of the year marathon reads with Gaan. Though, maybe too dark for Christmas time.
Isn’t that the one by someone McNaught? That looks SO good! I’m saving it for an upcoming weekend when I don’t have any projects I’m trying to catch up on so I can spend the whole time getting lost in that book.
bev I could just consider it… a “nightmare before Christmas” 😉
Amy YES!!! Judith McNaught. There’re just TOO many readers that consider this one an all time favorite. I had to try it. 😀
Somebody tell me two different colors.
Green and yellow
Thanks.
Besides Orphan X, which is over due I just decided on my next 2 reads to get me to 120 books. I’m just all over the place right now. *sigh*
Grace Grows, because yellow labs on the cover.
The Player, because green title on cover.
Then I will have only 30 to read, lol, to reach goal. Mostly by then think I’m going to dive into all my holiday books.
Baby pink and barbie pink.
Choosing by color. That’s new. WTG Bev.
Lol. Like one of those challenge prompts.
I really am not going to have as much reading time as I want this weekend, so maybe just my mind thinking through what I need to do. Not really in a slump just not able to settle. Everything and nothing sounds good.
Barbie pink?
It’s the best of all the colors.
Hot fuchsia pink = barbie pink?
Hmm. Does the heart on Never Stop Falling cover both those pinks?
I want to go with sea glass green and navy blue.
It does! I was totally suckered!
I love sea glass colors, but hard to find.
Maybe the Title for The Serpent king?
If I was Your Girl background for navy?
Now I have six in my short tbr.
Barbie pink. *giggle* Yep, definitely an actual color.
And Never Stop Falling DOES qualify as having both baby pink and Barbie pink! 😉
Two colors? For what? Okay, I’ll play – Turquoise and Citron,
I finished The Legend of Bloodstone. 5 STARS. Yipee. Needed that. It was kind of Transcendence meets Outlander meets Karen Marie Moning meets Daughters of the Glen… well, you get the idea. That great old feeling of Time Travel Historical Romance done well. It’s a stand alone, but the series continues if you want to see “what happens next” – which I do. I really really do. He gets al hot and alpha every now and then, and she is feisty and totally out of her 21st century element. It had EVERYTHING I look for in a romance novel. Highly recommend.
Thanks Michelle. I’m adding it to my tbr now.
I’m at 35% of Larks and guys, this is just so not my thing. It belongs to the Marmy group. I’m freakin exhausted and not even halfway through yet.
Ha! I bought The Legend of Bloodstone in May 2015. Thank goodness Amazon keeps track of this for me. There are probably dozens of of beauties buried in the mountain of my tbr.
*shifts in seat* Whitney My Love is the most popular, but one scene made me SOO angry. I’m kind of worried that Maryse won’t like it based on that one scene.
2 colors? Royal purple and emerald green.
OOH!! Sea glass colors…how about Twenty Boy Summer??? It has a heart made of actual sea glass on the cover. 😉
MichelleS–you had me at ‘Karen Marie Moning’! And The Legend of the Bloodstone is FREE for Kindle right now, so I got it–thanks!
Is anyone besides me having problems getting on GR tonight? I can only get pages to load halfway.
MichelleS, lol. I asked for colors to choose a small tbr. Let me see what I can find in my library with yours & Tessa ‘ s colors. Fancy colors.
But then I’m ok. 🙂
MichelleS–I just sent you a friend request on GR–at least I think it’s you (I hope!) I’m R.C. on there.
It looks like I’m only having a problem with the book pages on GR. I got on the The Legend of Bloodstone page to add it, and the page only barely loaded past the book info. Every book I’ve tried is doing that.
Alright, you all can correct me if my colors are not correct.
Green – The Player by Claire Contreras (Title)
Yellow – Grace Grows by Shelle Sumners (yellow labs)
Barbie & Baby Pink – Never Stop Falling by Ashley Drew ( heart)
Sea Glass Green- Eversea by Natasha Boyd (had to change to this one, cause sea glass)
Navy Blue – If I was Your Girl by Meredith Russo (background)
Turquoise- Made You Up by Francesca Zappia (the water)
Citron- Sloppy First by Megan Mccafferty (the background behind title)*
Royal Purple – A Talent for Trickery by Alissa Johnson
Emerald Green Twelve Days of Christmas by Trisha Ashley (greenery on the house)
That’s my list plus Orphan X.
* that is citronish, right?
Are you planning to read all of those before the end of the year bev?
Oh yes. *knocks on wood*
In honor of Barbie pink…
https://classycocktails.net/hot-pink-barbie-drink/
I have all of the ingredients and I’m mixing some up as we speak!!
Go bev! If you stick to that I am going to be in AWE. 😉
Did you really have all those juices on hand?
Pretty drink.
Yep yep yep!! Orange juice because hubby likes it, cranberry because I keep it on hand in case of a uti, and pineapple juice because I mix it with vanilla protein powder.
VERY pretty drink indeed. But mine are a little more baby pink now…adding extra vodka will do that. 😛
Maryse yes! Hot fuscia, but maybe slightly brighter just like that drink which I’m sooooo making soon!
bev what did you decide on? It’s 1:30 am and I’m wide awake so I guess I’ll read…
Hey y’all! Missed you ladies! I’m baaaaaaaaaaack! Had a wonderful trip and already miss my sissy like crazy but ’tis is life!
I haven’t read anything, hence my 17 book shortage or basically I’m behind on my goal!
Hey, Ela! Welcome back!
Yay! The Nutcracker is over…now I can return to life LOL! Started One Hot December by Tiffany Reisz… Then I am up for a big rec!
I started How to Date a Douschebag last night, loving it!
R, I’m starting with Orphan X & The Player. After these two I’m not sure what order I’ll read that list in.
I started Heart’s Ease and loving it! It’s Fanetti after all….
Welcome back Ela!!
bev I’ve never heard of Orphan X but I have the rest of Claire Contreras’ Heart series in my TBR. I’ve only read one of them. In theory, it was my PERFECT romance, but had big flaws for me so I hesitated on the rest until they went on super sale. When I do a ratings overall on GR, Kaleidoscope Hearts is usually the book that spurs it. I go back and forth on that one frequently!
Hi Ela!!!! *big welcome back hug*
R…do you think KH would be a “me” book? I have the bundle (and probably at least one or two duplicates ) but I’ve gone back and forth before on starting it. What were the flaws? If they aren’t spoilery…
Amy it has a Renee Carlino/Jeannine Colette feel to it IMO. As far as my “issues” and I seem to be alone with them, the H was inconsistent and I felt like there were some loose ends left. Still, it had the feels! I go back and forth between 3 and 4 stars, but I think about it often enough that I bought the rest if the series, so there’s that. My review is spoiler free on GR.
Crazy busy week, although I did read After We Fall and Downed. Usually love Melanie Harlow books, but I had a hard time getting into AWF because the writing was so “amateurish” at first. It did get better, but probably not my favorite book of hers. Downed confused me at first because I was not sure about the h and what the heck she was doing. Did turn out to be a somewhat different premise and I do love a sports romance.
Really should get my lazy butt up and do something productive…
Who read Big Little Lies? I haven’t, but just saw this- coming to HBO as a mini-series.
https://www.popsugar.com/latest/Big-Little-Lies
I read Big Little Lies Cheryl, one of my all time favorites actually. I love Liane Moriarty’s writing. I actually just saw the new trailer for it the other day and it looks like it’s going to be really good! I just need to find some way to watch it as I don’t have HBO. Also, in tv/book news another of my all time favorites, One Kick by Chelsea Cain will have a series staring Mr. Big!! Just saw this the other day and I’m SO excited!! I was super bummed when her sequel had publishing issues so this makes up for it a little https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/chris-noth-starrer-gone-gets-series-order-under-nbcunis-european-drama-pact-951359. Now I just need to know if it’ll also air in the U.S.
Also guys, Nine Minutes by Beth Flynn is currently free on kindle. I one clicked as I know it was huge hit around here!
Tasha, when I watch Outlander I just subscribe to Starz and then cancel when the season is over. Maybe you can do that for HBO.
Noticed Nine Minutes is a trilogy. Are the books standalones or one story?
Just finished From Sand and Ash! Great book! Definite 5 star read for me! Exaltation of Larks is still holding as fav of the year, but this one came really close! Loved it!
Good to hear Jean, I’m looking forward to that one! Thanks for the suggestion Cheryl, I’ll have to look into that. I use the roku so maybe I can get Starz on there. I’m almost positive that Nine Minutes is a trilogy not to be read as standalones. I think I remember the freak outs from the cliffy in book 1.
Nine Minutes by Beth Flynn, Carnage by Lesley Jones, are both free on Amazon right now.
I have my tbr I want to finish and some holiday reads also before the end of the year. It would be nice, but very doubtful, to reach my GR goal.
But do you all have a specific book you would like to read before the end of the year?
Mine probably was Marked in Flesh which I read last month.
Oh bev, I actually have several I wanted to read this year without fail. But here it is Dec and their still sitting in my tbr. 🙁
*they’re* sorry, *sigh*
I’m keen to read the rest of the ‘Travis’ series by Lisa Kleypas (CRs) before the end of the year, but I ordered secondhand copies from overseas and I’m still waiting for them to arrive 🙁 I really enjoyed the first book, Sugar Daddy.
Fabi, what ones are they?
Jan, she is re publishing a novella on the 13th. It was part of an old anthology. I have been wanting to read it again. But a historical, he was the desolute brother of the hero from another book.
What’s the novella called, bev? I’m intrigued. I’ve recently been trying a couple of her historicals and like them, altho not as much as the Travis series (so far…..)
I Will. His brother is the hero of Because You’re Mine.
Then in Feb she is releasing the novel with Evie and Sebastian’s son as the hero. So freaking excited.
I’m the opposite her HR over her CR.
Uh-oh.
Did Maryse just release the Kraken.
At Christmas time?
Umph – there’s a lot of them. I’m going to need luck to get to them before the end of the year.
Home by Cara Dee
The Bird and the Sword by Amy Harmon
Punk 57 by Penelope Douglas
The Diabolic by S.J. Kincaid
Idol by Kristin Callahan
Dark Matter by Blake Crouch
Blood Vow by JR Ward
There’s only 27 days left in the month. And worse, I’ve already committed to a handful of ARCs and BRs on GR. Help! hahaha
Release the Kraken?
The Kraken named Marmy.
May everyone’s holidays be filled with sobbing, broken hearts, and punched ovaries.
I think I’ve read one if them, lol. Making me re think Bad Romeo and the Tristan book on my tbr.
You can do it Fabi. Your a reading machine.
lol thanks bev
Maryse must have a new post up. Going to look now.
That list is nutty. TBR that I really want to read. I just got over the Thanksgiving vacation A Promise of Fire. It did look good, and with all the praise, I had to get it. I actually did pretty good at keeping my TBR low. It’s (of purchased only!) at about fifty. However, C)hristmas is gonna hit. That’s gonna be a big shopping spree. (I hope!)
Also need to read Home Tears by Tijan, Dollars by Pepper Winters (which I only haven’t read because I’m in happy land right now. That one is gonna rip my guts out),Last Wish by Helen Harper (the end of a series), and Oblivion by Jennifer Armentrout. Why haven’t I read Oblivion yet?
I read A Promise of Fire not long after it came out. It started out really strong for me but then leveled off.
Thanks for the Kleypas info bev. I have just subscribed to her newsletter to keep up with the latest. I can see I’ve got lots of fun hr reading to catch up on 😀
Yay I saw the Marmy list is up! I’ve been gone ALL day and must sleep, but I can’t wait to dive in and plot Emma’s heartbreak! 😀
So, I’ve finally finished watching the Gilmore Girls revival. My first thought was “what, seriously that’s it?!” Second thought, “that’s three words, what four words??” Proceeded to count on my fingers multiple times, had a duh moment and then again thought, “seriously, wth.” Lol I dk how to feel about this, except right now it’s I want more and answers!!
Bev, it was ninety nine cents so i had to buy it. 😀
Grey mentioned THE BOOK THAT SHALL NOT BE NAMED OR MENTIONED EVEN IF ITS FREE AND ITS SEQUEL MAKES IT BETTER!
Uh oh Grey! Hide!
Cheryl…I find myself thinking along those lines quite often anymore. Maybe it’s because I’m more particular now about what I read, but if a book has an “amateurish” feel at all to it then I am done and it’s an automatic DNF.
I’ve imagined plot lines over the years and thought it would be kind of fun to write them all out, but lord knows if I did then it would probably fall under the “amateurish” umbrella, LOL!
OMG, not the C book. lol Run Grey! *grans Mime Minutes* Also thank you!
Amy, FYI, I got your reference to Super Friends. *I’m a tiger! I’m a puddle of water! Wonder twins, activate!*
Dirty Billionaire (The Dirty Billionaire Trilogy Book 1) by Meghan March is free.
What a great day!!! Womanizer by Katy Evans!!! Stopped what I was currently reading & started reading & finished Womanizer!! So drawn in from the start!! Is it too early to have a book hangover? Love every single book of Katy’s I have every read. Her writing is so incredible. I’m at a loss for words what to say. Good thing I’m not a writer!!! Callan & Livy together so HOT!! Lots of laughable moments. Highly recommend this series!! Anyone else read it yet? Can’t wait for a review!!
oops, I forgot I wasn’t supposed to type that word out. Why is that again??? I haven’t read it yet… I think that’s going on the short list too, just because I want to know why I’m not supposed to read it LOL!
I also offered to read Hausfrau with Emma Scott on the Marmy list post LOL, so Emma, if you’re peeking in here… I’ll totally read it with you, if you want.
I know some people loved the C book. I just didn’t like the h and H.
Lisa- The Womanizer’s H is one of the 2 friends of the H in Manwhore?? I’ve read Manwhore, but not Ladies Man- just couldn’t get into it.
Nay- you’re R.C. on GR right?? Got a rec from you for Lisa.
LOL Tessa! Only we would be all, “I’m a sparkly fairy…I’m a Valkyrie…wonder twin powers activate!!”
Oh no, did Grey really say the C word? There’s a good reason why it didn’t make the cut for the Marmy list. 😉
*shoves Grey behind sofa* Just keep quiet and we’ll say we never saw you…
Cheryl, yes it is. How far did you get in Ladies Man? Did you like Manwhore? Well hopefully you will like Womenizer. Give it a try.
Grey, you’re on! I have From Sand and Ash first and maybe the Hating Game pending a visit to the bookstore to see if I can find Hausfrau in paperback.
(The more paperbacks I buy, the more convincing I am to the hubs that I need a new bookshelf. Diabolical!)
I suppose I could allow you to squirrel on The Hating Game for Hausfrau (and for Grey of course)!
I have read both Breathing Black & White Lies! Totally binged on them the last week and now I have a book hangover!!! So good!!!
Don’t do it. Stay with The Hating Game.
Amy, so you’ve never watched Walk the Line?
bev…were you asking me? ‘Cause there’s another Amy right above you. 😉
Yep, I’ve seen Walk the Line but I’m not sure what you’re referencing…?
Hi guys! I’m devouring Womanizer right now! So good!
Hey, I missed the Marmy list and now I can’t find it! Help!
OMG!!! I read Jean’s comment and totally thought it said “I’m a devouring womanizer.” LOL!!!!
Haha Amy! Just goes to show how much you missed me (and how your mind works)! Love ya girl!
Love ya too!! *big squeeze*

Jean, our very own devouring womanizer. 🙂
Actually yeah, I want to devour “the womanizer” in this book! Lol! Total hotness!
Amy, because you said you don’t watch Reese W.
bev…I think that was one of the last movies I saw of hers, back when I could still tolerate her (barely). Same with Nicole Kidman…I loved The Others but that is the only exception. Any other movie with her is a no-go for me.
