Mony: Hi Jan, On your recommendation I’ve been reading Kate Canterbary – she’s a fantastic writer. I mentioned before that The Cornerstone was a great steamy slow burn read.

Last night, I finished Before Girl. A wonderful warm, book boyfriend read (with a hot doctor) 😉 Next up for me is her book, Preservation (The Walshes, #7) – loving that series!

Very glad she has a new release – must be Boss in the Bedsheets…love the title! 👏

Jan: Hi Mony, Glad you’re enjoying The Walshes. I really liked Before Girl too. I haven’t liked everything Ms Canterbary has written, though. Hope the new Boss book is good. i took a chance and pre-ordered, so fingers crossed.

Robyn: Dannika Dark …Keystone. It’s book 1 of her new series. This book stars Mr. Vampire, Christian Poe, from her Mageri series!!

Tessa: I agree about Keystone. *swoons over Christian Poe*

Robyn: I have also read all of the Crossbreed books, plus every other Dannika Dark book! Christian Poe started in her Mageri series…FYI. You should check out her other books, you won’t be disappointed.

• Fury: A Motorcycle Club Romance Standalone Novel by Cat Porter <— SUPER-BARGAIN ALERT!! 

Ellen: Let your followers know about Fury by Cat Porter! …it was an EPIC, 5 star read for me!! It’s a spin-off of the amazing Lock & Key MC series but stands on its own. Highly recommend

Nay: Re: Fury. That reminds me that I need to get back to Cat Porter’s Lock & Key series. I loved the first 2 books, and Fury is a spinoff–the hero of Fury is a member of one of the rival motorcycle clubs.

• Healing of the Wolf by Cherise Sinclair <— RECENT RELEASE & JAN FOUND US THIS ONE!!

Jan: New Cherise Sinclair paranormal is out, Healing of the Wolf. It’s the latest in her The Wild Hunt Legacy series. Well written shifter series, but somewhat *ahem* saucy if it’s anything like the others. I’m assuming it’s gonna be MMF like the other books. Not my usual reading matter, but I’ve liked this series so gonna try this one too. Didn’t know it was coming out so it’s a nice surprise.

Kathy: I love Cherise Sinclair. I haven’t read any of her paranormal but I have read most of her Shadowlands and Master of the Mountain Series. Have you read her Sons of the Survivalist Series)? I have liked this series (two in the series so far)?

Jan: The Wild Hunt series is good. I’ve read Sons of the Survivalist too, but only a few of the Shadowlands as I’m not a huge fan of the bdsm thing. But Sinclair is definitely a quality writer who writes very sympathetic characters. Apparently she’s working on a new Sons of Surv book at the moment for release later this year.

• Letting Go by L. A. Fiore <— RECENT RELEASE & WE HAVE FEEDBACK! MONA ENJOYED IT!

Mona: I just finished Letting Go by L.A. Fiore. It was so good! Of course, This was already one of my favorite authors 😉

The h, Cedar, has great parents and an idyllic home life. The H, Brock, has an abusive father and a mother that hides behind drugs and alcohol. The H and h are childhood best friends that become teenaged lovers. Just as they are planning to start their life together, they are torn apart.

This was the first book I’ve read in weeks that I didn’t want to skim read, and it’s KU!!

• My Dark Vanessa: A Novel by Kate Elizabeth Russell <— STUDENT-TEACHER SCANDAL RECENT RELEASE AND ELA IS SCREAMING AT ME TO READ IT!!

Ela: MARYSE! YOU MUST READ MY DARK VANESSA!!!!!!!!!!!! The beginning drags a little… once you get to about 27% you should be good! Also, it’s based on a true story!!!!!!!!!!

Maryse: Ohhh I didn’t know it was based on a true story which makes me want to read it even more!!! Nope I haven’t read it yet but I want to. Sounds exactly like my kind of craziness!!

Ela: The author says it’s fiction however her dedication would suggest there are true stories out there she may know of???

Maryse: Interesting… I love true life stories that inspire fiction – so realistic this way.
