UPDATE: STILL WORKING ON THIS LIST 😉 Good morning and HAPPY FRIDAY!!!! Whoa, this list is only halfway there ’cause there were SO many new releases that went live over the last 24-48 hours, let alone the reader recommendations that I still have to load in, so keep checking back…
TAKE A LOOK AT WHAT WE FOUND FOR THE WEEKEND !!
- VEN (The V Games Book 2) by K. Webster and Ker Dukey <— K. WEBSTER & KER DUKEY DARK READ ALERT!! Must be read in order… “…My future is already written: run the empire. Old Values. Old Rule. Old Money. Until her. Everything I do lacks purpose. Everything I do is empty. Women. Money. Power. It meant nothing. Until her. When the Volkov rose showed up at my home a disgraced package, hand-delivered by a Vasiliev prince, I began paving my own path. I vowed to make her bloom once more.…”
- Everything You Want Me to Be: A Novel by Mindy Mejia <— ONE OF AMY’S FAVORITES FROM LAST YEAR SUPER-BARGAIN!!!
Amy: Everything You Want Me to Be by Mindy Mejia is on sale..! It made my favorites list last year. …it left me satisfied that everything came to light yet on the verge of tears (the kind where you *need* to cry but just…can’t)
- Do Not Respond by M.R. Field <— SHE VENTED ABOUT HER HOT MEAN BOSS & SENT IT TO HIM!!! “...Ignore the butterflies that flutter as he stares back at you and concentrate on his condescending tone. I wish I’d listened. I wish I’d never drank my body weight in vodka and sent him a venting email, telling him exactly what I really thought about his Lycra-wrapped package and the way he makes my body hum. The last thing I needed was to break those DNR rules and send an email to my boss. Work is about to get a lot more interesting. What have I got myself into?
- Knowing You (The Cursed Series, Part 2) by Rebecca Donovan <— REBECCA DONOVAN ALERT!! PART TWO OF A SERIES (must be read in order)
- Game Misconduct: A Baltimore Banners Hockey Romance (The Baltimore Banners Book 11) by Lisa B. Kamps <— HOCKEY STAR ALERT!!! “Lori Evans isn’t the same young girl she’d been all those years ago when she first met the shy goalie. She’s older now, more mature and confident, with her feet planted firmly on the ground. Or so she thinks until Corbin shows back up. He’s not the same young man she’s dreamt of all these years: a little harder, more jaded, more cynical…and more tempting than ever. And he’s just as off-limits as before, maybe even more since her uncle is now the head coach for the Baltimore Banners…”
- Play Dirty (Jordan’s Game Book 4) by J.A. Huss <— J.A. HUSS ALERT!!
- Chasing Him (Bishop Brothers Book 3) by Kennedy Fox
- Anywhere With You by Christina Elle
- Carnage (Whispers From the Bayou Book 1) by Sandra R Neeley <— A PARANORMAL BAYOU and humans don’t know they exist. Fiona gives it a BIG thumbs up!
Fiona: Carnage (Whispers from the Bayou Book 1) by a new author that I came across Sandra R Neeley. Its about all these shape shifters that live near each other in secret in the Bayou; no humans know they exist…The heroine Carolena is trying to escape a couple of brothers who think that she is their woman; she was captured by these brothers. Carnage a Gargoyle finds her & saves her from these men; he cannot speak very well but he finds Carolena very witty, attractive and wants to keep her for himself. He takes her back to his little home in the Bayou where other mythical creatures/ shape shifters live such as Vampires, Gargoyles; misfits….
Enthrall is the vampire boss of the Whispers community & is fascinated also by this human Carolena; the story is very good with so many new characters that I cant wait to read future stories about.
I have never come across this author before but really like her writing & how Carolena & Carnage develop their relationship in spite of their obvious differences; a big thumbs up….
- Hammered (Dad Bod Contracting Book 1) by Jasinda Wilder <— JASINDA WILDER ALERT!! SEXY FIX-IT GUY COMPANY… “…It started with a window that was jammed shut. Pretty simple, right? All I wanted was to open the windows while I tidied the house. I’d been after my no-good husband to do it for months, but he never did. And then he shacked up with his secretary, leaving me with a pile of bills, husband-free for the first time in ten years, and with a house that was falling apart. The ad popped up on the side of my social media feed—a local contracting agency willing to do pretty much anything. Since I don’t really know a screwdriver from a ratchet, I gave them a call. And let me tell you, the ad was NOT lying...”
- Why Not Me? by Ashley Erin <— LOVE TRIANGLE ALERT!! “Her once neat life is in turmoil as she’s caught between a past love and a current one. A choice between two men. One is her best friend and partner for the past six years. The other makes her heart race, but he left her shattered. One is safe, secure. The other is a risk she’s unsure she’s willing to take . . . again…”
- Kiss Me Back: The Panic by Sydney Halston <– I LOVE SYDNEY HALSTON & Leslie M 4.5 STARRED THIS!
Leslie M: I just finished Kiss Me Back, Sidney Halston and loved it. 4.5 ***
Carla: So. Good. Kiss Me Back had a huge swoony “thing” that I won’t tell you but…my heart! Sidney is back.
- The Line Below by Ali Dean <— COLLEGE SPORTS ROMANCE ALERT! Angela recommends it!
Angela: Ali Deans’ new na release The Line Below, is simply amazing!!!! I adore anything college/sports romance and this book nailed it again for me. I INHALED It! It’s nitty gritty competition and yummy addicting romance- and both are athletes!!!!
- Josie and Jack: A Novel by Kelly Braffet <— GASP!!!!! PSYCH-THRILLER SALE ALERT!!! A twisted relationship between brother and sister and OMG THIS BLURB!!!! “…Without a moral compass to guide them, Jack leads Josie into a menacing world of wealth, eroticism, and betrayal. He encourages her to seduce a local boy for his own ulterior motives—but reacts with fury when a bond grows between the two. As the two venture out into the wider world and Jack’s sociopathic tendencies emerge, Josie must decide which is stronger: the love and devotion she feels for her brother, or her will to survive.
Amy: Sale alert! Josie and Jack by Kelly Braffet is on sale…it sounds promising. *rubs hands together*
Maryse: OMG AMY!!!!! Josie and Jack sounds INCREDIBLE!! MINE!!!
- A Summer Scandal by Kat French <— SHE INHERITS A PIER & AN ARCADE “…When she meets hunky Calvin, inspiration strikes. What if she turned the arcade into an adult-themed arcade full of artisan shops? Not everyone in the town is happy with the idea, but Violet loves her arcade and business begins to boom. But as tensions worsen and the heat between her and Calvin begins to grow, life at Swallow Beach becomes tricky…”
- Ashes of the Sun (The Gathering of the Sun part 1) by A. Meredith Walters <— A. MEREDITH WALTERS ALERT! She was raised in a cult…
Talon: Just finished it today and it was a fantastic read!
- Jackal (The End of Men Book 2) by Tarryn Fisher & Willow Aster <— TARRYN FISHER & LORI SABIN’S LATEST!! THEY ARE THE ONLY MEN LEFT ON AND EARTH POPULATED WITH ONLY WOMEN... “Jackal Emerson has never taken himself seriously. Dubbed the “orgy king,” he’s renowned for his reputation as the wild End Man. But with the uprising on the horizon and his best friend missing, Jackal is having a hard time living the same carefree existence. And then he meets a thief and everything changes...”
- Bride to Keep: A Dark Reverse Harem by Alta Hensley & Maggie Ryan<— REVERSE HAREM & Fiona recommends it!
Fiona: Another good book by Alta Hensley & Maggie Ryan “Bride to Keep” is a reverse harem novel which I know is every second book out now; however this is a bit of a dark read about the H who is coerced to marry 4 brothers who have a notorious background in the mafia….they want to protect their sister & believe that the H is a bad influence on their baby sister so they basically kidnap her & their relationship transpires from here….a v good read as sometimes the reverse harem stories can get a bit stale… but this keeps you on your toes!
- Shameless King by Maya Hughes <— HE’S THE COLLEGE HOCKEY STAR, and they hate each other… and now they’re lab partners! “…She hasn’t just returned to my life, she crashed into it like a wrecking ball…into my college kingdom, into my class, and smack dab into the seat next to mine. My new lab partner to be exact. For years we hated each other… I may be King on the ice, but she is the Ice Queen. She has no problem calling me out…” P.S, You still have TWO days left to enter this contest!!! ➔ “Shameless King” by Maya Hughes is going live at midnight, and we’re having a giveaway!
- Whiskey Girl by Adriane Leigh <— He lost her and drowned his sorrows in his music and whiskey… ”…when the ghost of Augusta Belle Branson appears in his corner of another lonely dive bar late after dark, he’s forced to confront everything he thought he knew about that fateful night, and a few things he didn’t…”
- Second Chance (Chances Book 2) by BJ Harvey <— SECOND CHANCE ROMANCE ALERT!! “…when the man I’ve just agreed to marry, has his estranged wife and four-year-old daughter turn up on his doorstep, I’m not the only one reevaluating things. He didn’t plan for that—and I didn’t plan for my childhood sweetheart to return, wanting me back. Sometimes lemons can be sour, sometimes they can be sweet, and sometimes, all it takes is a second chance to make things right again…”
- Disgrace by Brittainy C. Cherry <— SHE WAS DESPERATE for her husband to come back to her, and then she met him… “…He was too closed-off for me, and I was too damaged for him. Everything was fine, until one night my heart skipped a beat. I didn’t expect him to make me laugh. To make me think. To make my sadness somewhat disappear. When our time was up, my heart didn’t know how to walk away…”
Leslie M: I gotta say, I am scardies of B. Cherry’s books. They are so gut wrenching. Despite my EPIC love for Behind the Bars, Idk if I can handle this one.
Jean: it’s B Cherry and I have loved every single one of her books!
- Anything For Love (The Bradens and Montgomerys: Pleasant Hill – Oak Falls Book 2) by Melissa Foster
- Unsteady by Elizabeth York
- Fixing Her by Miranda Elaine <— HE’S BACK IN TOWN… “…The innocent girl I left is gone, and in her place is a sassy single mom I can’t get out of my head. She’s hired me to fix her house, but I have other things in mind. She thinks I’m just a handyman. She thinks we’re only friends. She thinks I’ve never noticed her…”

Be content to never meet his family4.) Don’t fall in love with himWhen the unthinkable happens, and three of the rules are shockingly, and accidentally broken, lives are changed forever.
- Inconvenient Wife by Natasha Boyd <— NATASHA BOYD’S LATEST! “…Gwen has loved Beau Montgomery since she used to run barefoot around the marina as scrappy preteen tomboy. Knowing she’ll never fit into his high society family, she decided long ago that she’d become his indispensable best friend rather than not be in his life at all. When he tells her he needs to marry in order to fulfill his dreams, she panics that he might actually meet someone and she’ll lose him forever…”
- Coming Unplugged (Welcome to Carson Book 6) by Renee Harless <— ROCK STAR WANTS HIS BROTHER’S BEST FRIEND… “Ryker always felt that he lived in the shadows of his genius twin brother, Jameson; no amount of platinum records or devoted fans can change that. So many amazing books out and I’m honored to be included!!
Morning! What a list!! I would like a large iced coffee and a nap…stat.
Halfway through Friday and struggling with the heat. I would like a light breeze and a cold Pepsi Max…
But what a list. One-clicked Whiskey Girl by Adriane Leigh and Disgrace by Brittainy C. Cherry.
Curious about Why Not Me and Auctioned. I have read several Cara Dee books, but have mixed feelings about them. Some I love and some not so much.
AND A. Meredith Walters… I wasn’t even aware that she was releasing a new book. Instant one-click for me 🙂
Morning!! TGIF!
Not sure what I feel like reading this weekend. I just finished Kiss Me Back, Sidney Halston and loved it. 4.5 ***
Wow, this almost looks like a release day list! And we still have reader recs to look forward to. 😀
Happy Friday, ladies!
It is MY pleasure Maya!!!!! 😀
Wait.
Pos don’t you live in one of those beautiful icy Nordic countries?
Don’t tell me they also get hot in the summer. 😉
I have to daydream about somewhere when it’s almost 100.
Pos?? Lol. That should be Pia.
Happy Friday! I haven’t picked up a book in almost 2 weeks and I’m SO ready to read something this weekend!
HA Maryse! I just knew Josie and Jack would catch your attention. 😉 I’m starting it this weekend and I. Can’t. Wait.
And I clicked Why Not Me HARD…it sounds like all kinds of turmoil and angst. Yummy!!
Amy have you started Josie and Jack yet? I want to buddy read with you and I haven’t selected my next. And I want to read that one!!! :D!!!
Yes Bev, I live in one of the nordic countries (Denmark).
Sorry to disappoint you but it isn’t always icy
I hit submit before I finished my post 🙂
But no, it is not always icy here in Denmark. This year we have one of the hottest summers for many years. You have to find a new country for your daydreams – Greenland maybe 🙂
Wow Pia. I’d LOVE to go to Denmark.
This weekend, while the entire United States was scalding hot, it was in the 70s to low 80s in Florida. Can you believe that?
Eek. We’re in the middle of winter here (Australia). Not as cold as Denmark, but still cold!
*sips hot chocolate*
Thanks for the info about the free first True North book Maryse. I’ve clicked it and will try this series. I’m still reading the new Rachel Higginson book. It’s good.
I’m trying the sample of Why Not Me. I was reading reviews and I saw ‘dual points of view’, so I hope that isn’t an angst killer.
Thank you for the list, just bought 8 more books to add to the 100+ I haven’t read yet. Good thing my husband doesn’t see my credit card bill
Started Disgrace today, not too far in but loving it! There’s some crazy drama early on, can’t wait to pick it back up!
Happy Friday!! I’m still reading The Problem With Him. Did click several above samples- Fixing Her, The Line Below, Shameless King and Disgrace.
Ha ha Sandi. I totally get what you’re saying.
The next Drae book, Black Crown (The Darkest Drae Book 3) by Kelly St. Clare. https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B07BZ4JKFF/?coliid=I3GC49193Q064S&colid=4A5HFAM3D02Z&psc=0&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it
Tessa – was soooo excited to see Darkest Drae 3 show up on my Kindle. Woohoo
lol Me too, but I’m still reading Thorn (Carter Kids). After, though, I will. The Drae series is insanely good!
Random quote for a quiet Saturday (found this on a meme and can SO relate):
“I hate when a couple argues in public and I missed the beginning and don’t know whose side I’m on.”
LOL on that quote Amy!!! *snickers*
Hehehe True. I am currently playing hooky from trying to write. Also, Tears in Heaven came on and who can think through that, right? *SAD!*
Hey guys, American Queen by Sierra Simone is down to 99c!
Awesome find Jen C!!! I’ll post it in the bargains-section tomorrow.
3 things:
1. I started using an eye cream and I love it.
2. Been craving ice cold soda as my beverage of choice lately.
3. I love John Lennon ‘s voice. Love. There are certain songs I will replay little segments of just to hear how he sounds in that part.
One more game. This is something someone posted on a different blog I visit often. It was a few months ago but loved reading the answers. They got it off of FB so you may of done it before.
It’s the zombie apocalypse. You’re armed only with whatever is on your left right now, can eat only what you last ate, and your only companion is a miniature version of the main character of the last TV show you watched.
How dead are you?
Okay Zombie Apocalypse:
I have a super-heavy tape measure, I can only eat pork rinds (*giggle*), and my mini companion is Bobby Flay. He’s going to be SO disappointed in my pork rinds. *sigh* 😉
… Very. I’m armed with a travel size of tissue and I can only eat rice crispy. However, good news! My miniature is The Miz. I’ll hide behind him. He was the host for The Challenge, Champs vs. Stars.
Three things.
1. I got an hour of writing and it was painful at first. NOTHING was happening.
2. Now, I gotta pick up little dude from his class.
3. I am STARVING because I’ve only had breakfast. lol Diets suck to start with, but forgetting Lunch, that just makes it worse.
I’m not doing well either.
Armed with a pad of paper. Surviving on coffee and cherries.
And have a miniature Secretary Kim….at least she is helpful.
I’m armed with a baby mat. Surviving on brats and fries. And have a mini Sutton Foster. I bet she’s good company.
1. I bought foundation today, it felt foreign. Now I need a beauty blender Bc I forgot about application.
2. I’m tired. J doesn’t sleep for more than 2-3 hours at a time and there’s no napping during the day here.
3. Starbucks iced cold foam cappuccino (decaf) is my new favorite!
Tasha, you need Amy, Cheryl, and Maryse to set you up with a beginners tools and brands tutorial.
bev I think you’re on to something for that tools and brands. We’re hooked on our favorites. We should make them live! I’m doing it. Just backtracking in our comments I can find our favorites and build it from there. 😀
I googled it, I’m thinking the beauty blender will be good. I think way back when I used liquid foundation (11 years ago or so, lol) I just used my fingers. And I talked to the girl at the counter about what I wanted it for (just a stubborn spot on my skin that I swear is rosacea or something, not full face cuz I’m lazy). I hope it works. The sample looked okay, my skin was dry there though, but still better than before.
Okay, I’m in.
My survival is questionable, but I might survive if the odds are in my favor…I’m armed with a coffee mug. Surviving on chicken salad and spinach. I have a miniature Man in Black (from Westworld) with me.
Three things:
1. I already want more chicken salad and spinach. YUM.
2. Tarte is having an up-to-70%-off sale and I was a naughty girl.
3. I want Ameraucana chickens so I can get colored eggs and sell them.
Tasha, you will definitely want a beauty blender if you are only wearing foundation on a portion of your face. My recommendation is to spend the extra money and buy the original Beautyblender. Get it wet, squeeze all the water out, and then use it to apply the foundation. Wash it often to make it last. I use a brush to apply foundation, but I use a Beautyblender when I have an area where it needs to be particularly concentrated.
https://www.cultbeauty.co.uk/beautyblender-beautyblender.html This is the original, right? I did ask if I should use a tinted moisturizer or concealer and she said this would be the way to go…I could do a full face if I wanted, I guess, but I have bare minerals for that too.
Ha ha ha. Nice game, bev. I can eat oatmeal flavoured with apple and raspberries. Nice for breakfast but it’s gonna get old pretty quick. I’m armed with an iPhone charger. Oooh. Deadly. My mini companion is Alistair Appleton the host from Escape to the Country. He’s so cute, especially when he’s mini.
Lol.
Could you imagine the meet up.
We pool our resources and find we have: A mug, a mat, paper, and tissue. And not even the full size box.
We are going to have to MacGyver the hell out of this apocalypse.
Ok, Jan just made it fun. We so needed somebody named Alistair Appleton. (Only said in a English accent.)
Oh yeah. Alistair Appleton is very English. You can all share my porridge, so there’s breakfast taken care of.
3 things.
1. I’ve just finished a 6 week contract and I’m on holiday now. Yay! But I did enjoy my contract. Teaching English classes for 15-17 year olds. Fun.
2. It’s the middle of winter here, so I’m going to be making some big pots of soup over the next few weeks, and maybe (if I’m feelin’ it) some home made bread.
3. My cat had an abscess on his leg, (after a fight with the neighbour’s cat LOL) so he’s currently wearing one of those big plastic collar thingies so he can’t lick at his leg. has to wear it for 2 weeks! He hates it, poor baby.
Ok, I am going to zombie apocalypse armed with a bottled water, pizza for food and my mini companion is….(who would you say the main character of Avengers Infinity War is??) I am going with Ironman/Tony Stark. (When I googled cast, he was shown first)
Don’t think I’ll survive. Armed with my daughter, chocolate cake with ice cream and mini Blanca from Pose- could challenge the Zombies to compete in Balls in various categories judged on their outfits, attitude, and dance skills.
3 things:
1. Painting and re-organizing my laundry room.
2. Tasha I like just using a foundation brush. I just put a small amount on my hand and then use the brush to lightly apply it. I also like in the summer to use a tinted sunscreen only.
3. Watching another episode of Pose with my hubby and daughter (who got us watching it) and it’s just… over the top, but sad too.
I’m armed with my phone, a cup of coffee, some of my meds (yay!), chapstick, kleenex, and a container of chigger-ex; I get to eat ice cream; and my mini companions are: George Calombaris, Gary Mehigan, and Matt Preston, the hosts of Masterchef Australia, my favorite tv show E-V-E-R!!!
3 Things:
1. I want to know the name of bev’s eye cream because I can’t seem to find one I’m completely happy with.
2. I wish every last mosquito would fall off the face of the earth.
3. I’m going to make chocolate lava cakes today! Yum!!
Nay, it’s the Innisfree Orchid eye cream.
I can’t compare it to other eye creams as I’ve only used samples if I’ve had them before.
I am prone to those little white bumps under my eye, but I have been using this for a couple weeks and no problem with that. Also, it is very moisturizing, though sinks in fast, seems to be plumping the fine lines. I’m not sure how but I don’t notice my shadows under my eyes as much either when using it.
Now I am looking up your orchid eye cream. I do love orchids. 😉
Chigger-ex…that name makes me giggle. 😛
Okay, I’m ordering some of bev’s eye cream. The Koreans know a thing or two about skin treatment. 😉
We are going to rock the planet with this zombie apocalypse… I am armed with my cellphone, which is currently plugged in and fully charged, we’re golden… I’ll call… everyone. We’re saved! I had pizza and mac n’ cheese bites. And The Rock is the last person I saw on TV… yep, Imma thinking we’re gonna be alright. LOL!
3 things.
1) today is my wedding anniversary!
2) it is a million degrees outside and so we are being totally lazy and staying inside where it is NOT a million degrees
3) I just did the randomizers and posted it on the GR group, LOL!
Grey, between The Rock and The Miz… We’ll even have entertainment for those who love wrestling. Also, Happy Anniversary!!!!!
Happy Anniversary, Grey!
And George, Gary, and Matt can help us live off the land with their plethora of inventive recipes!
Thanks, bev. I especially need wrinkle plumping!
Happy Anniversary!
Buying the eye cream makes me way more nervous than when someone one buys a book on my rec, lol. Oh, well if it doesn’t work I’m sure it make a lovely hand cream.
Where do you guys buy your beauty products from?
Occasionally I use Amazon because fast and sometimes cheaper.
BUT I love other places, to support business, though mostly for samples. I love samples.
One place they always throw in a handful of foil packets, a sheet mask or two, a piece of grape candy, and sometimes a deluxe sample. I love it it’s like a little surprise present. But it ships from South Korea so the wait is long.
bev I’ve tried so many creams (I have a ton due to Ipsy), but also buying some highly rated ones and it always comes down to the same… not as good as my old standby forever and ever because it ALWAYS works. And every time I go back to it, people tell me my skin is looking extra glow and smooth is plain old absolutely awesome:
Olay Total Effects Anti-Aging Face Moisturizer, Fragrance-Free 1.7 fl oz
That’s it. No SPF in it (I avoid the sun anyway), and it has never broken me out, has never stung me, and hydrates amazingly (and I read an unbiased report how the vitamins actually are real and consistent, in this product and DO penetrate and help your skin). I even use it on my eyelids.
I just bought the beuty blender from Sephora and I got the cleaner for it too. I bought all my bare minerals makeup and mascara from Sephora too. But when I bought makeup yesterday, I bought it from our local Peebles, cuz I don’t have time or patience for anything else. It’s este lauder. They have Clinique too and that’s it. When I checked Amazon for the beauty blender yesterday, the reviews all said it was fake fake fake, so I don’t trust it.
Happy Anniversary Grey!! It’s ridiculously hot here too and I’m at the dreaded camper. We stayed out for as long as we could, but the baby was getting way too hot (and us adults too) so I’ve been sitting in the air conditioning since. Kids are at the pool and I just picked Providence back up. I’m thinking, as I’m almost halfway through, that it’s now feeling like a chore to finish it. It’s boring me, but I guess I do want to know how it ends.
Happy Anniversary Grey!!!!!!
I have yet to use a beauty blender. EXACTLY Tasha. I went on Amazon for those and I can’t tell what’s going to disintegrate or smell…
I just bought a new Bare Minerals “Buxom” lip gloss in “Sophia” which I suspect was the old “Trixie” that I loved, but then they changed Trixie to another color. I’m so thrilled if this is the one I’ve been looking for for years now.
P.S. The only true lipgloss I love are the Buxom’s. They last a long time, enhance, tingle, and when it all sort of wears off after hours, what’s left over on your lips still looks pretty.
And yes… I think the “Buxoms” I have are a “Lip Polish” because they go on with great coverage. I just always considered them a gloss since I apply over my lipstick or lip pencil to give that shine. I find it really lasts, even if it is a bit slippery.
I have Dani, Trixie (the actual new one which has a more coral tone to it – which is when I realized Bare Minerals played a trick – color/name wise), a seriously red one, and now I just bought Sophie.
Aw Grey, happy anniversary!! Just the two of you lazing around inside sounds wonderful for an anniversary. 😉
Tasha…I’m sorry, I thought I responded up there but I guess not. 😳 The only place I recommend buying a Beautyblender from is Sephora – which it looks like you already did – and that way you KNOW you are getting the original one. Just use the cleaner, and then I use the original little package it came in (the circular one) and set it on the opening while it dries. Because it expands, it sets perfectly.
Maryse, are you talking about the Buxom Full-On lip polish? Because I absolutely LOVE that one! I don’t know if it actually plumps my lips, but I sure do like the tingly feeling I get when I wear it. Plus, it’s not too goopy. Which is gross.
MAC Patentpolish lip pencil is my favorite for day-to-day use, especially at work where I can just pull it out of my pocket and apply it without a mirror. My Flip Side is still my favorite but it looks like they don’t make it anymore. Good thing I stocked up on it. 😕
Lip pencil… hmm… that might be perfectly convenient for me. As you know, Amy… I DO LOVE MAC.
I have this one because I couldn’t resist. 😉

Leslie M that color is absolute perfection. Now I want it.
I buy the majority of my makeup at Sephora. I like to be able to see and try it before buying it. I bought Tom Ford makeup I have at Nordstrom.
I love the tingly feel of Buxom lipgloss.
I’m dying to smell some of the Tom Ford colognes for men. There is one (the woodsy one) that I’m curious about especially.
Nay, you made me laugh when I read your post. I’m just imagining the Australian Masterchef judges gone all mini. LOL. I’m hoping Matt Preston is wearing his navy and white bold-striped suit.
I was going to do a post here, but I’m going to respond on today’s Monday post…
Maryse! Yes!! Buddy read it with me!!
I’m not very far into it (only like 8% or so) but so far it reads well and I want to keep going. 😀
