Lots of new releases todays along with plenty of great sounding bargain finds. Some “new-to-me” bad boy motorcycle club reads on this one, approx. five famous guy books (sports!! A wrestler, hockey player, football player and BMX’er, and a rock star!) <— I experienced a few blurb jolts with those. Plus plenty of angsty ones, and some sweet sweeeeeet sounding romance reads that just might cleanse our palette enough to be ready for Tuesday. Oh and a fun-sounding “coffee shop series” that had me giggling with the titles alone. I noted ‘em, below. Maybe some gems on this list? *fingers crossed*.

What’s coming Tuesday, you ask? LOTS!!! Including that darkish-creepy-sexy sounding one (Alpha by Jasinda Wilder) where that girl gets those mysterious checks with one word on ‘em, and it ends up saying “You. Belong. To. Me.” And THEN!!! “And then, after a year, there was a knock on my door. A sleek black limousine sat on the curb in front of my house. A driver stood in front of me, and he spoke six words: “It’s time to pay your debt.” Would you have gotten in? I did. It turns out $120,000 doesn’t come free.“ <—- *eeeeeeeep!!!* MINE!! :D :D :D :D

P.S. This is what I’m starting tonight —> Jahleel. It caught my eye a few weeks ago upon it’s release, and I’m getting some great feedback from our fellow crew that decided to give it a go. She sees him, goes nuts for him, he doesn’t even notice her, so she gets kind of stalker-y obsessed with him… for years! <— *eeeeeeeep* Sounds FUN!!!! Anne says: “OMG, the author certainly knows how to ramp up the sexual tension!! ( and the sex scenes are hot as hell )  There is lots of angst and heaps of heartbreak – put this near the top of your TBR list Maryse, you won’t be disappointed!

P.P.S. Let me know if I’m missing any or if you loved any (from this list or elsewhere). :)

NOTE: bargain priced when I added them, but prices can change on Amazon, so make sure to check before you finalize your order.

  • Love, in English by Karina Halle <— this one has been the highlight of my week (my review), and apparently that of many others! • Nice Girl to Love: Three-Book Collection (#1 Resisting the Bad Boy, #2 Falling for the Good Guy, #3 Choosing the Right Man) by Violet Duke <— Oh this looks like love triangle fun! By the book titles alone, I’m thinking there’ll be angst, and they’ve been bundled! I’m already hoping she chooses the bad boy. • The CEO And The Girl From The Coffee Shop by Terry Towers <— And this one…

I don’t know what to read next. *pouts* Maryse, what are you currently reading?

Maryse April 25, 2014 at 12:59 PM

I’m thinking of starting Jahleel. I was supposed to start last night but came home so late…

Jahleel was from last week’s list, and she sees him, goes nuts for him, he doesn’t even notice her, so she gets kind of stalker-y obsessed with him…

Sounds fun!!

Donna April 25, 2014 at 2:04 PM

I can’t wait for Alpha. I already pre-ordered! My kind-of read! :-)

Renate April 25, 2014 at 3:48 PM

you know the Bonnie Tyler song, I need a hero…..i’m itching for that kind of book….any recommendations???

Sharon F. April 25, 2014 at 4:35 PM

Maryse, did I miss your review of The King?

Jen C April 25, 2014 at 4:41 PM

The Boy Who Sneaks in my Bedroom Window by Kirsty Moseley is bargain priced too – down to 0.99c from $2.99! 1-clicked so fast!

Amy April 25, 2014 at 4:45 PM

My TBR list just made room for Alpha. That one is looking delicious! I have Jahleel and it sounds so good, but I’m wavering on starting it. Just in one of my wishy-washy moods. Okay, just say it: Boo, you wh*re! *snicker*

And Sweet Filthy Boy? Yeah, I want that one just because of the title. :P

Roxanne Smith April 25, 2014 at 5:24 PM

Maryse: I just read Room for You. The heroine is not a widow. Her jerky husband left her with twin babies and a note scribbled on a receipt. Her ex apparently plays a role in book 2. It was a good, not great book for me.

Sarah Hampton April 25, 2014 at 5:25 PM

I can’t wait for Alpha and Sweet Filthy Boy!!!! So excited I did read Love in English and Crazy Good both were crazy good!i also read Phenomenal X
And I wasn’t impressed it did nothing for me I don’t know I saw a lot of 5 star reviews so that was a let down for me but I loved her Black Falcon series! Thanks for this weeks list!

Jody K April 25, 2014 at 6:19 PM

I just bought Liam’s list but it looks like I need to read Vivian’s List first?

Stephi April 25, 2014 at 8:27 PM

Maryse!!! I hope you are reading Jahleel. It is fantastic. You will definitely enjoy J. K. (His nickname) Whew! He’s worth it!

Jing April 25, 2014 at 9:55 PM

Jahleel is a great book but I think you need to read “I Choose You” before Jahleel. While both books are stand alones, it will give you better insight on JK’s childhood and his borderline incestous relationship with his adopted sister, Krissy K. Both stories are in parallel but the previous book will give you more background information. I enjoyed reading the books and if I had to choose between the two, I would lean towards “I Choose You”.

Kim Box Person April 26, 2014 at 5:28 AM

Okay Love, in English ….I bought it when it released and moving up my TBR …

Oh my gosh, I read Alpha and you have to read it when it comes out, like immediately. I spent most of the first half saying “OMG” and it’s hot, hot, hot and it has you saying No Way at one part…just OMG….

So many great ones my twitchy one click finger clicked…now I need to clone myself so I can read them right away :)

Lindsay April 26, 2014 at 7:03 AM

I just finished the After Dark series. I only meant to read the first one, but I got sucked in! Holy Alpha! I Highly recommend them!!

Maryse April 26, 2014 at 9:35 AM

Renate… a hero… hrmmm… I need one too. Do you mean like… an awesome military guy? A policeman? I don’t have much experience in that genre, but I’m dying for one that is the ultimate in that kind of read…

Or do you mean… just an amazing sweetheart to fall for?

Maryse April 26, 2014 at 9:35 AM

Sharon, I haven’t reviewed it yet… but I will post the link everywhere as soon as I do. :) Have you read it yet?

Maryse April 26, 2014 at 9:36 AM

Thanks Jen!

And Amy… I LOVE that she said it was kind of like Love, in English (love found in another country). FUN!! I can’t wait for it, either!

Maryse April 26, 2014 at 9:37 AM

Thanks for the feedback Roxanne & Sarah! :D

Maryse April 26, 2014 at 9:37 AM

Good question Jody! I didn’t even realize there was another. I shall investigate. ;)

Maryse April 26, 2014 at 9:38 AM

Stephi and Jing – both of you are making me very excited about Jahleel. Although wow the one you’re recommending I read first, Jing, sounds like it has that *eeeeep* taboo factor. Okay I gotta check this out!!

Maryse April 26, 2014 at 9:39 AM

Thanks Kim!!! I can’t wait for it.

But lemme tell you… Love, in English is AWESOME!!! Read it asap for ultimate romance angst pleasure! :D

Maryse April 26, 2014 at 9:39 AM

Thanks Lindsay!!! I love them alphas. :P

Nicole April 26, 2014 at 12:25 PM

So excited for you to start Jahleel! I need to vent about it! There’s another book that goes with it and explains some parts- I Choose You. I had to read that right after this book. You might have to too!

Michelle M April 26, 2014 at 5:14 PM

Thank you for the list Maryse. I always look forward to it. There are some good ones on there this week. I read Love In English this week and it was fantastic! Karina Halle is a one-click for me every time. I was a bit uncomfortable as I started it because I usually stay away from adultery storylines, they just bother me. But the connection between the two characters really is overwhelming. And I appreciated how they struggled with the emotions of it all. I also read Hard Time this week. Hard Time was good, especially the letters, but I think the ending could have been a little stronger. I keep seeing pre-order buzz for Alpha and I have to admit I’m intrigued. So I one-clicked that one too.

Renate ~ If you’re looking for some good heroes, try Sloan Harper’s Corps Security series: Axel, Cage, then Beck. They are sooooo goooood!

cheryl April 27, 2014 at 11:54 PM

Just finished Love, Your Concierge. Was really good with some angst. Now debating on starting Love, In English or Jahleel. LIE scares me, with all the comments about crying, and quite honestly, I read the “sample” and was having trouble connecting with Vera. I don’t know if the unrequited love in Jahleel will be any easier though. I agree with Amy- I’m in a wishy-washy mood too! ;)
