I’ve just figured it out. All of this “ebook hoarding” I’m doing? It’s not really hoarding. It’s collecting. Col-lect-ing. Everyone collects something, right? And they’re so much easier to manage in e-book format (so at least they’re not collecting actual dust. Virtual dust maybe, but I’ll get to ’em and dust ’em off then). But yes, I’m a little one-click happy.
Sure.
And okay. Maaaaybeeee I’m preparing. You know, in case of a crazy zombie-apocalypse caused book-drought or somethin’. Although if that’s the case, there probably won’t be any electricity to charge my iPad. I better get me some extra solar-powered chargers, too. Tee hee! 😉
Some serious stand-outs for me in this list that gave me the “I must read this” *jolt*. Like: Love Square, The Mourning After, Shocking Heaven, The Fault in Our Stars, Finding Bliss, A Table for Three (and of course a few that are already on my TBR list as of the last week or so).
So here are today’s latest reader recommendations and bargain ebook finds:

I am on board with 95% of your 5-star reviews, Maryse, so I am confident you would get sucked in the same way I did. I have never put so many bookmarks in a book on my Kindle. Hot & steamy, and I could not put it down. It’s kind of a toss-up for me between Saving Raine and After Hours for my summer favorite. MUST READ.” and then Lori says: “I loved this book!! The third is supposed to come out in October I believe…”
- Love UnExpected (Love’s Improbable Possibility) by Love Belvin <— book #2!

The reason I’m posting again is ’cause of Shannon. She found us something else!!! “Some lovely lady on here recommended Seize Me, which I really enjoyed. - Love Realized (The Real Love Series) by Melanie Codina <— Kandace recommends: “If you need a break from the (young college virgin falls in love with local bad boy books) I would give this one a try. I enjoyed this book. It’s a sweet story that can be read between the intense and gritty books. It’s like sorbet for the mind. Every once in a while you need to read a sweet slow love story to cleanse the brain.”
- A Table for Three (New York) by Lainey Reese <— I’m getting soooo many great responses to this series. S-T-E-A-M-Y and they’re Doms!! Yes yes I wanna read!! - Shine Not Burn by Elle Casey is rocking the charts (and is #24 on the NYT Best Sellers list!!). So many fellow readers loved it and it’s another that has been recently added (high) to my TBR list (I hear it’s hilarious, but a great mix of romantic angst, too).
I agree Maryse, “collecting” sounds so much better than hoarding (and its nice that we don’t have to dust them)! Haha! Now I won’t feel so bad “collecting” some of these new releases! As always, thank you!!
I loved ‘Shine not Burn ‘ 🙂
See?! I’m good at reasoning. I can come up with all sorts of “logic”. LOL!!! 😉
Thanks Lisa – I’m very excited about that one!
If you don’t already love cowboys, you will after reading Shine Not Burn! 🙂 OMG – the blackjack table parts had me laughing my butt off!!! Anyone else???
Ps love the new pic Maryse! So pretty!
Thanks Jeanie!! That was taken at Book Bash on Thursday night (a couple of days before the event) with my bff Sherry. I was so happy to see her again, and so excited to be there (and not yet exhausted). LOL!!!
Thanks for a boat-load of great recommendations! I love that some of them are already in my “collection”. Never can be to prepared!
So glad to see Lori Otto’s book on sale! It was a wonderful series!!
Loved loved Shine not Burn. I think I peed myself a little at the blackjack table. But oh my lord Maaaack. Delicious. GREAT read.
Wow! What an awesome write up! Thank you!
I have to STRONGLY agree with carefully reading reviews for the Lost & Found series by Lori Otto. I would have been so terribly disappointed if I had found out about *that something* in the story beforehand. Instead, after reading #2 I was left blubbering and writing a Goodreads review at 2:00 in the morning. That is a good thing. 😉
Attention ladies!!!! Seize Me…just finished…10 stars!!!! It is outstanding. Crystal holds nothing back. Cannot wait for #2 in this series.
Linda,
I’m so very glad you liked Seize Me!
Withstanding Me Book # 2 releases September 6th, 2013.
I don’t know if you’ve seen the news or not – but I’m excited to announce that Harper Sloan – Author of Axel, and I will be doing a crossover. For those who have not yet read both series – her character Greg Cage will enlist Braxxon Breaker for some not so legal help in her next novel ‘Cage’ and my next novel ‘Withstanding Me’.
😉
Sincerely,
Crystal Spears
“Fault in Our Stars” is one of the best books I have had the pleasure to read. It tore my heart out (in a good way) and put it back in. LOVE Agustus & Hazel Grace
Last week a car hit the power pole by my house, leaving us without electricity for a little over 24hrs. I sat in my running car (with the A/C on high) reading for most of the day, iPad on the car charger. I can’t live without my books!!!! Sadly, my kids feel the same way about their Xbox so we checked into a hotel for the remainder of our power outage because they said “it wasn’t fair that I have my books while they don’t have their video games”.
Just finished Shine not burn and it was really good. Funny at times and really easy to read. First half was a tad bit on the slow side (after the whole blackjack laugh) but then it was good from then on. When I needed a break from the slow side I read Left drowning…..it was amazing. Loved it and hated all at the same time. The book kept me in a state of guessing and happy feelings then sad feelings. I cried at parts and smiled at others. Both are good books but I think Left Drowning was the best out of the two for me. =)
Oh Yay! The Fae Chronicles made your list. Couldn’t get enough of that “f***-ing fairy” Fae Prince & his feisty little “witchy witch”. So wicked. You know, sometimes I need a good escape from all the real world billionaires, bikers, professors, rock stars, etc & just need a good Alpha Fae Prince. Totally satisfied…
Loved “Love Square” bought and read it this morning ….5 stars for me
Yeah!!! I made the list with my gushing for SEIZE Me. Can’t wait to read th second book. Thanks crystal spears!!
Now I have to read axel so I can understand the cross over.
Linh,
That is amazing you’re going to add Axel to your to-reads list.
But we are making the crossover to where readers won’t get confused if they haven’t read one or the other. We don’t want our readers to feel obligated. 🙂
Crystal
Just finished Fighting Destiny (The Fae Chronicles) by Amelia Hutchins and I have to agree with Michelle and Susan if you are in the mood for paranormal romance this one is a keeper! 🙂
Hey Maryse! I sent you an ARC of Love Square to read!!! <3
Megan – glad you liked it!! Thanks for the support!!
Just started reading Shine Not Burn and now I’m so excited to get into it! Thanks for the list! My wish lish is growing fast!!
Just finished reading Axel. Loooved it. I never get tired of my alpha men. Great start to a new series. Axel Reid oooooh yeah.
I just read Axel too…loved it. Bargain price too. Axel Reid…swoon. Read Shine not Burn too…good with sexy cowboys and blackjack….but I did love Axel more 😉
I am so happy to know I am not the only one hoarding ebooks for the zombie apocalypse! I seriously gave myself an intervention last week but your intelligent, enlightened view of it as collecting is making me re-evaluate! LOL
Read Love Lost, Love UnExpected and Love Square. Loved them all!!
OMG!!! You have to check out Being Chased by Harper Bentley!! It’s AWESOME and it’s free on Amazon right now!!! https://www.amazon.com/Being-Chased-ebook/dp/B00DXQ08QO/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1374545593&sr=1-1
