The B. E. Ware Trilogy: A Paranormal Romance Boxed Set IS COMPLETE and it’s been bundled at a great price today! And the author is today’s newsletter sponsor, so to celebrate, she’s sent over some excerpts and FUN FACTS about the series (which made me giggle!!!)… and now I’m dying to know the secret the author is keeping from us about her actor inspiration. 😉
<— Plus… she’s giving away 5 copies to five lucky commenters here!!
Five fun facts about The B. E. Ware Trilogy, a New Adult Paranormal Romance by Molly Mirren:
1.) Molly is a HUGE Supernatural fan, especially of the early seasons when Sam Winchester had psychic powers.
2.) The hero of this trilogy, Ben Ware, has an “issue” with light bulbs and electronic equipment that was partly inspired by a hilarious Supernatural fanfic Molly read once where, every time Sam would sneeze, he’d fry a light bulb.
3.) Ben is not based on Sam Winchester, despite having similarly awesome dimples. And a slight widow’s peak. He’s based on an actor Molly refuses to name because she wants you to have your own version of Ben in your mind. You can try to guess if you read the trilogy…but you’ll probably be wrong. 😊
4.) Stella, the heroine of the trilogy, was inspired by Molly’s somewhat wild college days. Fortunately, Molly was never touched by tragedy despite sometimes pushing the envelope. But realizing how lucky she was that she’d come out of those days unscathed got her thinking: What if she hadn’t been so lucky?
5.) Molly is a very responsible adult now and the mother of two teenage girls who, so far at least, have much more sense than she did at their age.
6.) Fun Facts Bonus: Molly will give away 5 eBook copies of The B. E. Ware Trilogy: A Paranormal Romance Boxed Set to 5 lucky winners who comment below.
Sidenote from Maryse: GAHHHHH!! Now I’m dying to know what actor!!!
Some of Molly’s favorite B. E. Ware Trilogy quotes:
He sighed. “It’s a real license with a real name and a real birth date.”
“Sure it is. For someone. I’m just not sure that someone is you.” She emphasized the “you” by poking his chest with her index finger.
He grabbed her finger before she could pull it back and leaned in close. “Don’t poke me in the chest.”
But it was such a fine chest.
and…
In that moment, she couldn’t have stopped staring at him if someone had told her Jesus was standing behind her. She wanted to memorize every beautiful inch of Ben, to have the sight of him burned into her brain. Some primal emotion squeezed her belly, and she had to remind herself to fill her lungs with air and breathe. This wasn’t one of those fleeting little lilts of the stomach, gone and forgotten in seconds upon admiring a handsome guy in passing. This was hot, feverish, and pure. This was her ovaries imprinting on Ben Ware and saying, “Him. Now.”
and…
She looked so earnest now, so full of virtuous determination. It made some perverse part of him want to corrupt her. He leaned closer to her. “Give me a reason why dancing is a sin.”
“Because…”
He brushed his nose over hers, inhaling her scent. “Because why, Blueberry?”
“Because, um, it leads to other things.”
“What other things?” he said, his nose now nuzzling her cheek.
She was trembling a little. “You know.”
“Like kissing?” he said, as he kissed the corner of her mouth.
“Y-yes.”
Next he grazed a kiss over the center of her lips. “And that would be bad?”
“Uh-huh,” she said weakly.
He made his way down to her throat, nipping her all along the way.
and…
She gave a slight nod. She preferred music that was more upbeat in tempo, but the combination of Norah’s glossy voice and waltzing around the stage with Ben was kind of intoxicating. They moved as one, and before she knew it, time seemed to stop. The only thing that mattered was being in sync with him: their breaths, their bodies, their heartbeats.
And then there was nothing under her feet, and she faltered.
He pulled her against his chest, modifying the waltz hold so the arm that had been cupping her shoulder was now supporting her back, his mouth just an inch from hers. His other hand still clasped hers, mostly maintaining the lines of the dance. “Don’t be afraid. You know I won’t let you fall.”
They were twirling around again, as swiftly and elegantly as they had been before, except their feet weren’t moving because they were no longer dancing on the stage. They were floating. Literally. Like, in-the-air floating.
and…
Screw caution. Screw that he would never be relationship material. Screw that all she really wanted from him was a cure for her brother. She was in his arms, soaking wet but breathing and otherwise unharmed, and that was all he cared about. He didn’t care who was watching or what anyone thought. He knew in that moment he loved her, and he would do anything to protect her. He would die for her. It was clear and irrefutable.
So he kissed her as if she was the only thing that made life worth living…because she was.
and one more for good measure… 😉
Once he discovered what she’d done, he would probably be so mad at her he’d be done with her for good. Which she deserved…
The sun had long ago gone down, and the bar was living up to its name and getting rowdier. Suddenly, however, the loud, nondescript chatter in the room got quieter, and a prickle of awareness tickled the back of her neck—a prickle of Ben-awareness.
No. It couldn’t be. She did not have a sixth sense where Ben was concerned, and he had not come back for her. That would be crazy.
Slowly, she swiveled around on her barstool.
Sure enough, just like in an old western movie, Ben was standing in the doorway wearing a hard Clint Eastwood scowl, his broad shoulders back and his hands at his sides, as if primed to draw a six-shooter from its holster and start pulling the trigger. He didn’t have a six-shooter, of course, but that didn’t make him any less formidable.
Ben turned and took a step toward Stella. “What are you doing?”
She was slightly out of breath, her cheeks flushed. “I’m coming with you.”
Irritated, he said, “Stella—”
“Too late,” she interrupted, glancing pointedly back over her shoulder at the front gates of the compound, which were now sealed shut. “You’re stuck with me.”

I’m all for choosing someone else in the cast. 😉 That works too!
I haven’t seen this yet so I don’t know either Dean or Sam but I’m going to pick Dean, because I trust Maryse (and hope I’m right)!!
You can’t go wrong with either, but Dean is just TOTALLY my type. 😉
Hmmm, today’s tuesday so I gotta go with Dean. Tomorrow it might be Sam though,or Castiel🤔 I still literally can’t decide, both maybe🤔 See what I’m doing here *lol* 😂
I love your style, Terttu!!! 😉
The excerpts are so so good! I have found a new author to read.
I AGREE!! 😀
Love them both, but if I had to pick one it would be Sam.
#TeamDean
I couldn’t resist jumping in here with my favorite eps: It’s a tie between “Mystery Spot” and “Bad Day at Black Rock.” I think I was one of the few people who loved the character Bela and the sexual tension between her and Dean. 😊
I LOVE Dean!!! Hot hot hot!😍
