Merry “Almost Christmas” my friends!!! :D Just a  few hours left, and all of the shopping is done, the gifts are wrapped (the Christmas Eve present has been opened) and we’re now indulging in egg nog (and I’m already in fluffy pajamas!) and… maybe a little fluffy in the head from the eggnog ;) .

Tee hee!!!

But we’re not done with the gift giving yet! It’s time for a bunch of crazy awesome “let’s open the gifts on Christmas Eve” giveaways!!! Tonight’s gift giveaway will have four winners!

A few of the awesome signed books we’re giving away tonight!

And I’m giving away (we’re giving away – THANK YOU AUTHORS!!) some of my absolute favorites from 2013:

  • Night Owl (The Night Owl Trilogy) by M. Pierce <—- This is one of my absolute favorites (here’s my review) one just got picked up by a big publisher, so this “print indie copy” is kinda rare. Or maybe extremely. ;) But I have ONE for a lucky winner here.
  • Sex Love Repeat by Alessandra Torre <— One of my latest OMG YOU GOTTA READ THIS book finds (see my review – I went absolutely crazy for it!) – Well… I have ONE signed copy to give away today!!
  • Reaper’s Property by Joanna Wylde <— I have TWO signed copies of this one (Biker romance at it’s best! Here’s my review) AND AND!!!!!!!
  • OMG You guys are gonna freak, ’cause this one is NOT out yet!! I have ONE signed copy of Reaper’s Legacy (book #2 in the Reapers Motorcycle Club). The author says: “… this one is hot off the presses and doesn’t come out until Jan 28th”!!
Are you freaking out? ‘Cause I am! Now, these are not in order of “first place, second place” or anything like that. To me, these are all FIRST PLACE gifts. But alas, I have only a few books to giveaway, and can do so randomly so this is how I’m doing it:

How to enter for a chance to win one of these awesome signed books? Just leave a comment below and tell me your favorite holiday tradition (whether it be cooking a specific recipe, or everyone gets a set of Christmas pajamas on Christmas Eve, or you go caroling on Christmas morning… you get the idea) OR!! You can simply swoon over how awesome these books are (’cause we all know they rocked our worlds!), and by tomorrow by 11pm EST (Christmas Day – December 25th 2013), I will randomly select four winners. The winners will be contacted and once I receive a response back confirming the address information, I will forward it to the authors (who are sending your books) or if I have the book, I will send it to you myself. :D

NOTE: The winners will have 48 hours to respond to the winning email notification. If no response is received, I will randomly select another winner. Make sure to check your email, so you do not lose your chance. THIS is open to US only, however ALL are welcome to comment!

OH AND!!! —-> Many of you have been asking how to receive a notice each time my blog is updated. Just use this link right here:

“Subscribe to my blog and be updated everytime I post:

And if you haven’t “liked” my Facebook page yet, come on over and join us! We’re a fun and extremely active group and we’ve got really REALLY good taste in books! —> AND!!! We can enjoy in our “guilty-pleasures” together. It’s fun!

My favorite holiday tradition is spending Christmas Eve with my mom’s side of the family having a big dinner and then doing a Yankee Swap. Then we go to my dad’s side of the family and ring in Christmas with champagne at midnight! But I am working this year so I won’t be able to do that,

Kat P December 24, 2013 at 8:22 PM

Merry Christmas. My husband and I have a long tradition (probably 14 years) of waking one or the other up in the middle of the night to open presents. In fact, he just leaned over to me (he had no idea what I am typing) and said “can I wake you up?”. I said “yep”.

Jamie December 24, 2013 at 8:24 PM

It’s hard having a tradition with my family. I think this will be the first year I will be with my boys on Christmas in a long time time, and I’ve been a cooking fool. This military lifestyle sure does suck the tradition out of family. Merry Christmas eve!

Lisa December 24, 2013 at 8:29 PM

Tradition in our house, every Christmas Eve, we all sit around the tree and find one small present to open. We’re all in our pajamas, Christmas music playing in the background, then starting with the youngest, we each open our tiny gift. Now that I’m married, I still keep up that tradition in my home (even if we don’t have kids yet). Thanks for all the AMAZING giveaways, Maryse! Have a very Merry Christmas!

My favorite tradition is the one in our country. Everyone take time to visit all the person significant to them (relatives/Godmothers/Godfathers/closed ones), took the hand of these persons and kissed them,or just touched the hand in their forehead. It’s a sign of respect. :) ) Exchanging of gifts and children doing caroling on Christmas eve “)

I love when my parents come up on Christmas morning to watch my kids open their “Santa” gifts and then we have breakfast.

Kim December 25, 2013 at 10:27 AM

My favourite tradition was when I was a kid and one of my brother’s would wake me up in the middle of the night to sneak downstairs to see if Santa had arrived. One year, Santa hadn’t even showed up yet since my parents had been entertaining and the last guests had just left. I loved those 3 books and look forward to the release of Reaper’s Legacy.

Merry Christmas Maryse!

Once we get home the kids sprinkle reindeer food on the lawn for the reindeer & come inside & put out cookies & milk for Santa. Then on Christmas morning we put on The Christmas story while opening presents & eat cinnamon rolls with my husband, kids & our parents!

Maggie December 25, 2013 at 12:06 PM

My favorite Christmas Tradition is hiding the Green Pickle on the tree for my kids!

Maureen December 25, 2013 at 12:10 PM

After presents, over breakfast we read a letter left by Santa (hubby) that details all of our kid’s highlights throughout the year. It is very in depth and humorous including comments from various North Pole characters (elves, Rudolf, Mrs. Claus). Seriously, it must take him hours to write since we have 4 kids and one son-in-law. Lots of laughs! Ho Ho Ho :)

Michelle M December 25, 2013 at 12:19 PM

One of the traditions I love actually happens after Christmas. My grandma would always take the left over turkey and make a huge pot of turkey soup the day after Christmas. When it was finished cooking, she would call my dad and my aunts to come pick up each family’s batch of grandma’s turkey soup. My grandma, my dad, and my aunties are all passed now, but I still make turkey soup the day after Christmas and now I call my son and daughter-in-law to come pick up their batch of turkey soup.

Thank you Maryse for gifting us throughout the year with great reviews and recommendations! Your hard work is enjoyed by many.

I live in a third world country and in a third world house hahahaha so traditions doesn’t much apply to me and being grown up and not that expressive and close to my parents leave me to tend for my own emotional needs lol. So watching fireworks while covering my ears coz (duh) it’s loud has been my tradition since then.. Seriously, I just notice that recently when some fb page admin asks their likers their traditions so here comes images of me as a child covering my ears and watching the sky glow and inhaling not-so-good smoke.
