Maryse, I took a detour from my norm of reading romance/erotica, and read The Art of Hearing Heartbeats by Jan-Phillip Sendker. It’s 3.99 on amazon right now. What a beautiful love story, I started reading it and did nothing else for 20 hours straight. It’s about a daughter searching for clues in her father’a disappearance. The story takes place in Burma, where she uncovers some incredible secrets. 5+ stars, I highly recommend it!

For any of ya’ll who still have Love, in English on your TBR list – READ IT. You wont’ be disappointed. I am hit and miss with Karina Halle. I love some of her work and others just miss the mark. But she is always a great writer and writes really strong characters. This is one of her best. I am thinking THE best. They are such an odd couple, but it works. And I am a sucker for a European soccer player. Some romance novels just stick with me. This was one. I plan to read the follow up tonight (only 150 pages – that’s disappointing).
OOH – I see Wild and Free up there as a pre-order – by Kristen Ashley. I love this series (her PNR series, the Three Series). I have been a bit let down by her latest releases, so I have big hopes for this one. I am hoping her PNR mojo is still strong. And the Irish brogue is nice too. Yummy.

I went really crazy 1 clicking yesterday. As if I needed more books in my tbr list. 🙁 I keep telling myself I won’t buy unless it’s an expected sequel or fantastic sale but there seem to be a lot of books meeting that criteria lately. Then there’s always the one that catches my eye while I’m buying something else. And the ones that I get to satisfy a particular mood.
This is so weird. I’ve never bought more books than I could read before. I’m starting to feel like I need an intervention or magic powers to inhale these books. Lol
