Huh. That tempts me to just get the hardcover than the kindle edition.
Yeah sometimes kindle prices seem overly inflated :/ I’ve held off on buying quite a few books that I consider to be overpriced, actually, even with fav authors. It seems that sometimes the ‘big names’ just = ‘big prices’. And to me, that’s just plain wrong. No reason for it but just (it seems to me) a blatant ripoff, just cos they (or the publishers :/ ) can. One of the things I really respect about KA (Kristen Ashley) is that she keeps her kindle prices low, even though she is an incredibly popular author. For e.g. her new book ‘The Deep End’ is a very reasonable $3.26 AUD. Go KA! *steps down from soapbox*
As I’m in Australia, our day starts earlier here than US/Canada and The Deep End has already downloaded to my kindle this morning from my preorder 😀 but I’m in two minds about starting it. A bit nervous, actually. Much as I love many KA’s books, I’m not a bdsm fan. I’ve bought the book cos, new KA, good price = no brainer. But, bdsm…….???? I’m so not sure. Ah well. *cracks knuckles* C’mon, Jan. You can do this.
