OMG CHARLOTTE STEIN’S Never Loved: A Dark Obsession Novel (<—she’s been sheltered, abused and she meets a bad-ass street fighter!!!) THAT is my next read. I LOVE this author, she can write the HECK out of sheltered abused girls and the bad boys that they meet). Pretty much, if it goes as well as her book “Sheltered” this one will be my book-dream come true!!! Oh and Finding Master Right (she just wants a simple D/s relationship and he wants a slave…) and The Lessons (she hires him to get rid of her virginity… blurb says forbidden love!!). 😀 *waggles eyebrows*

Anne, I one-clicked that yesterday ’cause it sounded pretty interesting (and ADHD runs in my family…from BOTH sides!), and I was hoping it would be as good as the blurb sounded…then I noticed that it was by the author of one of my faves, Room 212!!!!!!! 😀 If you liked LTWL then you would probably like 212 as well.

Amy you are going to love LTWL. I have to say I didn’t know much about ADHD but now I have a whole new respect towards people that suffer from it and their partners. Its a very unique story that touched my heart. I need to check Room 212 out!
Oh The Lessons sounds like a fun read! 😀 I’ve never read a book with a sexual surrogate! I didn’t even know that existed but its actually pretty common. I looked it up on Google and this is what came up:

I just got an email from my library that my ebook that I’ve had on hold FOREVER is finally available. It’s The Martian. It was Fabi’s recommendation, and I since recommended it to several people, even though I hadn’t even read it (I trust Fabi, what can I say). Anyway, they loved it – so I guess that’s my next read. Not sure if that’s the kind of mood I’m in….

Just so you know, The Martian is a spectacular book, however, it has no romance (absolutely none). Not even a hint of it. It is straight up sci fi.

One of my absolute favorite books this year has been Station Eleven – and it didn’t have any romance – so I am hoping for that same kind of feeling from The Martian. I have had that thing on hold for so long – it’s super popular at my library! It has 141 thousand ratings on Goodreads. Wowza. Every now and then it feels good to read a work of popular fiction on bestseller list.

Oh Grey, GD is amazing!!! I read it before I went back to read book 1 of that series (GD is book 2), and I think not knowing what in the hell was going on and why she was there just added to the magic of the story. And I could easily picture Jason Mamoa’s Khal as Lahn. 😉

Currently reading a series – Takeover and Controlling Interests by Lana Grayson, both bargain price at 99 cents – which is a step brother romance, with 3 step-brothers!…a little dark with the father wanting in on the action too…yes the premise is a little far fetched…but finding it quite hot in parts.
You say there is no possible way I can predict the twist in Jezebel. I have some pretty solid outlandish theories going here though 😉 I want to finish up but I have to go into work early…uggghhhh it’s killing me!

Jean and Ela, at least y’all had the novella right away! I read Jezebel when it was first released and then had to wait for the novella. I was feeling the same way about not having ALL of my questions answered, but this line from the novella kept coming back to me… “Learning to live is learning to let go. Unanswered questions are a part of life.”
I can honestly say after reading the novella I’m content with what I now know and even with what I don’t. 😉

I liked the novella to Jezebel because it answered most of my questions. I agree it would have been nice if it continued for one more day and maybe covered a news broadcast or two. I will say I think maybe for me it was good that not all my questions were answered so that in my mind I could think something ended a way that I liked. 😉

Umm yeah I loved Jezebel but I just can. not. do the novella now. I need to digest and honestly I like some unanswered questions…a tidy perfectly wrapped up ending would have taken away from the book.

Fabi, do not be scared, the ending was just shocking! It’s the best kind of psychological mystery/thriller/romance I’ve read since…You by Caroline Kepnes but with a heavier lean towards romance and mystery.

Anne, I probably said it before (too lazy to scroll up and look) but I read GD first then books 1, 3 and 4. I’m actually glad I read GD first ’cause I had *no* idea what was going on which made it more fun. Book 4 brings all of the couples together so you would get more out of it having read the others first, but I would say 1, 2 and 3 could be read in any order. Although I am a bit biased when it comes to GD. 😉

So I started Golden Dynasty last night and loving it! I was going to read Out of Time but read the author’s note at the beginning and it said it ends with a CH and that the next book will be published in 2016. Just want to know how bad the CH is before I dive in.

Almost finished with The Golden Dynasty and its sooo good! Why did it took me so long to read this book? Its amazing! Lahn and Circe are one of my fave couples ever! Now I want similar books to this one. Any suggestions?

I’m almost done with Harper’s Blood Destiny series book 4 and um the series is losing it’s momentum. Such a cool idea for a series but I do not think it lives up to it. You read all these books right Tessa? What did you think? When I’m done with this book, I need something crazy good like finding my re-readable, unique, sexy book like Golden Dynasty! Help *scrolls up* Anne and I out!

When I first heard about it and then Maryse went ga-ga over it, I was thinking “ummm, yeah okay…that sounds like it *might* be good.” But a caveman? Seriously? And an all-male POV? (I usually don’t care for those, by the way) Then I read it and OMG!!!!!!! It worked and it was perfect and I loved it and I didn’t want it to end!! 😀

Fabi, i was standing next to this guy once, so tall. I hit about mid chest, and his wife looked just above his elbow, lol. One time i was getting coffee and tturned and lady standing behind me I came up to her chin. I used to want to be really tall, long legs, you know. And she looked like a model, lol.

Lol, my best friend is 5’11.5″. She refuses to say she’s 6′ tall. Blonde, tall and leggy, yup, that’s her. But when we were younger it was always hell for her finding guys tall enough to wear heels with. Yup, she loves heels, while shorty me prefers boots or Converse. :-/

I met James Scott (actor, used to play EJ DiMera on Days of Our Lives) he is 6ft 4in, plus the heel on his shoe, I came up to his shoulder, barely… yum! haha!

My friend is the opposite. She’s 4’8″ and looked super young for her age. As in, when I met her, she was ten and I thought she was 4 type young. You gotta know how fun it was taking her to Pleasure Island, the 18 and over area in Disney World. They had to call the manager over to make sure her ID was valid. *grins*
Yeah seriously 5’4” is short?! which is my height. I got the shorter genes since my Dad is 6’5” and my Mom is 5’1” but my sister is 5’10” – I’m so jealous that she is tall!
I read Transcendence Amy and LOVED it but that is a great rec for Anne that I second! I want to start something but I’m really stuck *continues digging through kindle*

I was going to do the BR of Vanguard, but I believe it was Amy who said in another thread it wasn’t clicking with her…and after this week, I need something that’s gonna hook me right away. LOL!
