I did, then pretended I didn’t. I did like the idea of they ended up together, but Elizabeth and Jessica switched personality, Todd became ultra not sexy jerk (which he already was imo) and cheated on Elizabeth with Todd and Bruce became wimpy. So, I pretend it never happened. Oh, and their older brother, Steven, ends up gay for NO REASON. Of all the characters to be gay, he doesn’t make sense.
Ugh, Tessa. I just went and read the Elizabeth Wakefield wiki page. That kind of left a bad taste in my mouth. Long term affair between Jess & Todd? Liz cheating on him? I don’t remember them being like that at all. Ick.
Thus why I said, in my mind, the story never happened. Now, I just read, she breaks up later with Bruce. Pfft. All which again, never happened as far as I’m concerned. Those books are just bad after the first 100.

I forgot a shipping that I had when I was like six? I watched Voltron and wanted Princess Romelle to end up with the evil Prince Lotor. I loved Prince Lotor. Yep, even at six, I liked the bad boys more than the heroes.
MichelleS, just finished it last night. I did love it. I gotta wait two weeks for book two, but it will be mine. It had all the things I love in epic fantasy. Politics, intrigue, a whole world to enjoy, and fey! Also, a cat who hates magic. 😛 I wanted more of that cat. I really liked all the characters, honestly. Well, not the bad guy. Him I hate. HATE! Just pure ugh. Slow… well, it paced fast, though I was surprised how little time passed in the story.
Also, I liked hick girl. I never liked Nix for Lothaire. He’s not strong enough for her, honestly. He’s a great friend, but whoever ends up with Nix has to be able to help her with her mind, and Lothaire is too far gone to be of help to anyone. His hick girl helps him. She soothes the insanity. Now Nix… he’s gotta be super strong, maybe even able to take some of the visions onto himself to help her.
Now… Gus. *rips out heart* I won’t need that.
